Oh, thank you Nik, precisely the angel I needed. He appeared to understand the situation well enough to put things in motion. Vikky was very grateful, but she decided that she’d probably be doing him a favor by not showing it off too publically while Rhina was… well, this close. But she gave him a look that should have conveyed her thankful feelings. Alright… now that everyone was giving them an opportunity… Vikky was going to take it. So… Vilmer’s support was definitely needed, this could be troublesome…

“I’d like to apologize for making you angry. I sincerely want to avoid making enemies. I’d like to know why you acted hostile against me, and what I can do to mend it. Please?” … Keep it slightly short. Vikky was currently rather afraid of Rhina. Not many people had acted that way against Vikky, and she didn’t like it at all. So please, Rhina… please see the sincerity in my request. If she didn’t accept this, Vikky wouldn’t know what to do. Rhina clearly had the upper hand mentally in this confrontation… Vikky thought.

Everyone cleared out thanks in part to Nik. He shot Vikky a smile behind Rhina's back as they cleared out though as she finally began Rhina gave her a hard look, crossing her arms over her chest, each hand diggigging into a bicep probably to keep from lashin out at her.

Vikky must have thought that nothing was going to happen, that Rhina wasn't going to say anything but after a long moment she took in a deep breath and turned her back to the smaller girl. Letting her breath out in a long sign she began, it was hard to hear her at first because her voice wa so soft and there was genuine emotion behind it.

“I wish you never came back. Maybe … maybe he'd still be alive today.”

She turned though he look of utter hatred had been replaced with one of sorrow. “Dad ...” and she looked skyward using the back of her hand to wipe away a tear that spilled down her cheek. She wiped at it with the back of a hand and gave Vikky a hard look that was intwined with her grief. “His name was Rheen ...”

… Oh. So… so that was it. Vikky felt a shiver of regret seep through her as the name of Rhina’s father was heard. He… he was the police officer who had died in there that day. Vikky hadn’t known. During all this time… Rhina was also the daughter of a police officer. It… it was an… unexpected coincidence. Maybe if Vikky had learned, she’d have seen this girl in another light. But now… now was the fact that her dad had died, killed by Stein when he had entered together with her father to save Vikky’s life. It could as well have been Fredrik that had died, which would have left Vikky the one grieving for her father. But no… fate had decided to punish Rhina… and take away her father instead. It was… it was…

Vikky blinked in pain as if the words had a physical effect on her. … In a way, they had. Vikky found her eyes moistening, reminded of the tragedy that had occurred that day. Far less than what Rhina’s eyes had during the time directly after his death, she was sure, but…

“… I’m sorry. I… I don’t know what to say. Your… your father gave his life for the justice of our country, which… which in this case was to save my life. It… it is possible me and my father are only alive today because of the actions of your father. I owe him everything. I’m… I’m sorry it cost you so much grief. I am very thankful to him…” Vikky bent her head forward, feeling clearly responsible. It… it wasn’t her fault. She couldn’t have known this would happen if she came back. Though… there was absolutely no way she could say that…

Rhina fell quiet, probably considering her father in that time or absorbing Vikky's words in her skull. Hatred seemed to be replaced with a sadness, a longing for things that had long since passed.

“I … I … I … don't want to talk about it ...” she snffled a little and whiped at her cheeks again. From her purse she got oung a few tissues and dabbed at her face before turning nad running off in a direction opposite them all.

Vilmer stepped forward instinctively feeling that Vikky needed him then. He was unsure as to what was going on but their was certain less yelling this time around and he could tell that there was something amiss with the girl.

He did not pry into matters though, he suspected matters and simply kissed her on the cheek as he stepped forward.

“Let's go, I don't think anything further dcan be done here today. I don't know what you two said to one another but it seems apparent that Rhina has to shift through some things on her own.”

... Of course she didn’t want to talk about it. Vikky felt the absolute need to respect her sadness. At least now she knew why Rhina had… reacted like that to her. Now that she had opened up enough to share that information… it was unlikely that she’d continue being outright mad at Vikky. The objective of the advance had been completed. Although the reason why Rhina was so angry at Vikky was undesired… she was still silently happy that Rhina had been able to share the information properly. Vikky merely nodded to Rhina’s desire to not speak about it. Vilmer’s approach was… well timed. There might have been more to say, but… the objective had been completed. He hadn’t really needed to kiss her on the cheek at a moment like that, but… ah, well.

“You are right.” She responded silently to Vilmer. Vikky turned her head back towards Rhina for a moment, and… “Rhina… I’m… uh…” Her words failed her. There wasn’t much to say. Just… “… I’m thankful that you told me.” Just… just that. “… See you later.” With that, Vikky walked with Vilmer back wherever, a somewhat gloomy look on her expression. She had found out why. That was why she had confronted Rhina. So… mission accomplished. … Now what…? By some reason Vikky had problem to think…

Rhina glanced at her as her name was mention, her eyes red now, she nodded then spun around to be alone for the moment.

Vilmer walked with her close to his side. He was silent for a while as they walked along, he let her mull over matters and come to terms with things but remained close to her to leand his support and if needed his advice. He might have been slow in getting to places at times though his ideas were often sound after refining them a little.

They did not always work as she could recall with his plastic glove idea but at least he tended to think outside the box often enough.

“I'll walk you home … unfortunately I have to head up to the colleage for the game in a bit … an earlier one today at four.”

He paused for a bit unless she had something to say.

Stein's trial had been a quick one given all the evidence against him it was a pretty clear cut case but Vilmer was all to willing to follow his girl friend's lead without pressuring her in the process. So when he did so now it was with the understanding that if she wished to talk he would listen.

A hand interlaced with her own, he gazed at her as they walked. “You know I love you, right?”

Vikky appreciated the momentary silence. It was... calming, in a way. She needed the extra time in order to gather herself from the recent experience. There was no need for advice or anything like that. The matter was… pretty much finished. The case was solved, and all it took was a simple question. But… having Vilmer support her still put her heart at ease. As she had been reminded all the more frequently lately, there was absolutely no guarantee that the next moment of your life would be as forgiving as the last one.

“Alright.” Vikky merely responded on that he’d have to head off. There was no worry about that. Vikky silently remembered the time of the game which she was going to attend to in order to cheer for Vilmer, and just let it be. Now, then. She didn’t really need to remember more about Stein right about now. If there was any rivalry worthy between Rhina and Vikky right now, it was which boyfriend’s team could beat the other in baseball and nothing else. … Well, that’s one department where Vikky wouldn’t accept defeat~! The thought cheered her up a little bit as their hands naturally sought each other and then… Oh, for the love of…

“… Gee, Vilmer, I thought we’d have passed that stage already…” Although it felt good to hear and both a smile and a slight blush crossed her face, it sounded like as if he or she would be unsure of that fact in some strange way. Vikky could only do one thing at that. She tightened her grip of his hand and pulled him in fiercely, hopefully with him not resisting too much, and kissed him mid-turn. Just… just because. If successful, she’d let it be for a moment or so, then break away and say…

“I thought at least that, if anything, at all was confirmed. You came to save your loved girl when she was in trouble, didn't you? All of this afterwards is just your reward for being my hero~” Then she giggled a little and kept walking, blushing as she went.

He had thought that she would appreciate the silence for it would not intrude on her thoughts as she traced those issues that had happened lately and place some order in the chaos. Plus it would assist her in the recent dealings too in that she wouldn't miss anything.

But at hisconfession shetwiledhisslightlyasshe drew himin, her lips sealing against hisin a delightful kiss. One hand brushed against her hip while hisgrip tightened on her handinresponse.

His heart beat a little faster in his chest and he grined as she moved away from him.

“Well, I figured you knew alright but I figured it doesn't hurt to remind you every now and again.” Vilmer smiled at her as he caught sight of that blush that stained her cheeks.

“And I'm just happy you decided to stay … well, not just that,” he beamed at her. “But that's probably the highest on the list … there are lots of things that I am thankful for. So many things, Vikky.” So at times he could be a little slow but one thing about Vilmer was he wasn't one of those typical males that hid from his feelings or you had to torture him to get a measly 'I love you' to cross his lips.

Oh, gee. He was so adorable. Who could say this guy was anything but adorable when he was like this!? Oh, she was getting so red. This boy was dangerous, and not only because of this aura. There was a pit-trap that surrounded him with this endearing qualities of his that made it impossible to not fall… oh, whatever. She had already fallen for him so long ago. But after having fallen, Vikky alone had climbed up and claimed the one beyond the pit for her own. … Or had he been the one to pick her up and make her his? Whatever, who cares!

“Vilmer…” Vikky smiled happily at him. How would she answer that happiness of his? There wasn’t much she could do except smile brilliantly at him with a blush on her expression. “Do well at your game, and I’ll be sure reward your efforts afterwards~” Vikky giggled as she turned away from him and kept walking. She had put a little limit on sex during this month, simply because the two of them had to focus on other things. Of course, the both of them had been unable to maintain this at numerous times where one or the other was just too horny to bother, but in any case. Vikky had been unable to join any school at home mid-way, so she was taking a few stand-alone courses while waiting for the opportunity to study normally once again. In order for both of them to succeed, there had to be a little limit on loving as well. But… should Vilmer do well in his game… Vikky could imagine giving the rules a little slip or two~

It was the truth. Vilmer might have been a little slow at times, stupid no, just slow when he overlooked the obvious though he mad up with this deficit by an intense love that he possessed. It was unrelenting in nature, very intense and all for her. He had not shared such an intensity in his past relationships from what she had seen making her aware of the way he had felt.

At times he could come across as a romantic sap but he was her romantic sap sap. It was true from what he felt, what he believed with every fiber of his being.

Vilmer broke out a grin having a good idea of what she meant by a reward. After his success in the batting cages not too long ago he was fairly confident that he would do a good job today.

“Aww, what if I hae a lousy game now? I got all this pressure now to do good Vikky that you've gone and jinxed me.” He laughed a little at that as he considered.

“So if the rest of the team sucks it doesn't matter as long as I do well?” He figured that was what she meant but wanted to be sure before hand, no good if he had an outsnding game and they still lost because because the rest of the team couldn't do their part.

Vikky giggled a little as Vilmer laughed a little. “Don’t worry, Vilmer. You’re not the type to be jinxed. You had all the pressure in the world on you when you went to save me, and we’re both alive and well today~” Yepp, she had been, and was going to be a long time from now, constantly reminding him of how gallantly he had saved her life. It was the truth, so~ He hadn’t been alone in saving her, but there was still the fact that if Vilmer hadn’t shown up where he did Vikky would very likely be dead~

“Well, um…” Vikky considered. “I guess it will be alright if you do fine and the rest don’t, but won’t the reward taste so much sweeter if you actually win to receive it?” So Vikky giggled and went on. “It isn’t all about you, you know. Teamwork is important too. Your team will be depending on you, so don’t you go trying to solo just because you want the reward! So go win that thing, in order to be satisfied by a well-earned reward, alright~?” Vikky smiled to herself as she spoke. … Now, how would she reward him? There were multiple different ways she could… Hi-hi… Oh, she was blushing so much…

He turned read a little, his head tipping away and to the side as it he saw something interesting in the sky though all that was there was a simple air plane. It was unremarkable but he watched it until the heat in his cheeks had cooled a little.

“I only wanted you to be safe.” He looked back at her then, his heart pounded in his chest though she already knew just as he had known her feelings. “It didn't matter what happened to me in keeping you safe. I had already lost you once, I wasn't going to loose you again.”

He made that profession as they traveled on. He tightened his grip against her hand then looked at the plane silently again.

He listened to her explain on the reward and though it was her turn to blush he imagined what that had entailed. He considered something and grinned. Yep, he had something in mind but would she agree to it? He wondered …

“Oh, I wasn't, can't do it all by myself and while the reward would be so much sweeter when we win I was just making sure winning wasn't a condition in case the rest of the team wasn't up to the task …

“I did have something in mind though for a reward if you're game that is.”

Yes, yes, only wanted me to be safe... Vikky thought that was a rather horrible excuse to save someone’s life. “Oh, you shy boy. ‘Wanted you to be safe’? Yes, that might be true. But sure wasn’t the only thing. You saved me! In the moment when it mattered the most, you pulled off exactly as you should have and saved the girl. Gee, be a man and show some pride! And show some confidence in your skills! Are you going to win this game or not!?” Vikky grinned her own little style of grin at him, taking on a tone that might as well have been from a coach. Vikky wanted to be a manager or a coach, after all. So she had a practiced tone to use in some occasions where it could be useful. This was surely one of those.

… Oh, gee. He… he had something in mind for the reward!? … But… uh… Vikky immediately went on the defensive as she was never quite sure what her boyfriend was thinking when it came to… that kind of things. … Um. So… uh. Um…

“… You had something in mind? Is, uh, is it something that I should know beforehand or something that I’ll find out first after the game…?” She asked, slightly apprehensive before knowing exactly what he was planning. Vikky had a plan of her own which she was intending on putting to use, but… um… if he had something he wanted to try out, um, then… then maybe she should let him…?

Vilmer paused and looked at her. His hand set upon her shoulder, gently turning her as he spun her about with the hand that had previously been entwined with her own. He grinned then pressed his lips against her own hungrily as if she had fired him up so to speak and she could tell that he was fired up in more ways then one. He once told her it was tough to run while aroused but he wasn't counting on base hits, doubles or triples. He was intending to knock them out of the park and have his leisure rounding the bases.

His hand on her hip now he held her close with the single hand, the other still on his bat though when his lips left her own he grinned. “Oh, I'm going to win I was just checking to see how hard I had to play … if it's based off of my performance then I have no choice but to crush them.”

He observed her as she went on the defensive. “Well, no, not really. Just something I wanted to do I could tell you either or before, it makes no difference … I want to video tape you, us … you're not always going to be around … vacations and what not so I just wanted to be prepared. Of course if you had something we can do that, or combine the two elements into one as a super reward because I'm worth it.” He smiled at the last as he gazed at her in attempt to gain insight into her mind.

Oh, she must have said something successful. The boy snatched her up, turned her towards him using her shoulder and approached her. Vikky knew she would be kissed, but she was still slightly startled by the unexpected little turn. But nevertheless, she accepted the kiss with a little submissive smile as he captured her in his hungry kiss. … To be captured by her own boyfriend like that… it was pure bliss.

Ops. It appears she might have roused a demon. Heh-heh. Let’s go with this.

So, he told her what he wanted to do… Vikky went bright red. She stood immobile for several seconds. H-he was… serious. “V-v-v-v-v… video… t-tape…!? Y-you want to…” Vikky descended into thinking. Panicked thinking. Staring somewhere else than at Vilmer in pure embarrassment. He wanted to film her. Film her while. Oh, gee. That felt like a whole new level of risk. With the other things they were doing, it was always possible to act like nothing afterwards with nobody the wiser. But film. Recorded. Creating proof. Proof of her lack of innocence. Which could be viewed at anytime, by anyone who happens to find the tape. It was… it was… so unthinkable…

Vikky had turned so red. Her heart-rate had increased exponentially by the embarrassing thought. And yet why… why was she feeling… silently excited… by the prospect…?

“… S-sure.” After a long pause, she… “I-if you want to, you can film me. Leave such naked proof of my vulnerability behind. O-of course you can do that. … I-if you do well in the game.” Vikky smiled embarrassed at her boyfriend. He’d… he’d really do it, huh? Oooouuuh… she shouldn’t look forward to something so… naughty...
