It did not surprise her that Krisna denied her access to the database. With this sort of vessel, it was doubtful the Gorgonian would be able to hack it or make the woman reveal the data. The ship scanned Krisna before even opening. Vespira could only assume it had such precautions with the data and will not allow any data to be taken out of the ship itself.

"Very well," she replied, "You do not have to reveal itss data. But, you musst tell me more about thiss shipss technology. Consider thiss part of repaying your debt to me. It seems the woman was coming along nicely. The fact a number of devices were allowed to leave the ship revealed to Vespira that technology itself could be extracted and learned from without the ship interfering as much.
