Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
"Thank goodness.... " Krisna said, relaxing as it agreed to fallow her command as she dropped her aim and complently layed spralled out on the floor panting for the momment, almost like the damger was over.... yet the creature was still standing there stationary like Krisna demanded.
However as time went on and questions were awnsered Krisna arched her self alongte floor so she could looked back between their new friend and her lover as the being explained "who" he was, Krisna and Scoch quicky picking up on the fact her was an AI like much Sky, however Sky may get upset being called somthing so primitive. Yet he was a AI created to mimic his creator? That may be an issue.
"Hmm....Hes most definatly an AI.... however basic compaired to Sky....hmm... this might be bad?" Krisna said sadly, tapping her chin as she looked up at the ceiling in thought as she layed on the ground as if not noticing the idea she was prone yet. "Sky really hates other artifical intellagances.... thats why I havent introduced 92 to her yet.... she might try to ether erase or outright comsume him.... also the fact Mr Gogo is a copy of his creator..... if thats means what I think then Sky might use that as an excuse... " Krisna stated as her thought on matters bright blue eyes flicked to Mr Gongha as she smiled. "Mr Gongha! Are you a complet copy of your creator Dr Gongha?" Krisna asked finilly sitting up as she flipped open her omni tool to get ready for a scan.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
“Gogo?” That was probably one of the nicknames she invented … she considered the matter on the AI matter. 92 was far less sophisicated then Sky and there were a number of software upgrades she had given it over the years though it was still property and she had not even registered the fact that it and Sky had not met as that would have been like introducing her hair dryer to her favorite brush, it was something one did not think about not that she had ever thought of Sky as artificial. She was way too complex for that and if she stayed in human form exclusively it would have been easy to forget what she actually was.
She lowered her hand but not her gaze as she relaxed a little. The threat was still there though she had not looked into it too much now seeing that the holograph was not taking hostile action.
Gongha analyzed the recent question that it was posed as if searching for the best or most appropriate answer.
“I lack a physical body though I can download into one easily enough. Depending on how primitive the operation systems are however I would burn it out in sort order if I attempted to load in all my memory.
“I have complete memories of my creator's brain scans at the time of my creation and essentially know what he does. In the past my creation and others like me made a rather efficient way of storing information though it is necessary in having a computer with enough processing power to handle my systems.
“I have control over the repulsor arrays here in this room and can assist with basic details and may seem to be interacting with materials myself though it is the use of these projectors that give the illusion of manipulation.”
It answered the question. Scans would reveal that it was not a physical being but energy concentrated in that point from various projectors that relayed the image. There were other projectors, tractor beams that could be used to repulse objects too though Krisna would find that their power did not exceed what a human would use daily, such as picking up and moving small objects.
It was as if the thing was designed to assist lab work and this seemed to be a lab of sorts even if most of the tech here had fairly good processing power and seemed to be close to her own, perhaps there might even be one or two things that exceeded or matched it if she really looked through it all.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
The ony one that seemed to not forget Sky was a AI was Krisna and even then the cute travler didnt treat her like a computer. In Krisna's time the collector training included the complete understanding and trust of both their ships AI and the collector assighed creating a two way relationship so the collector doesnt develop a mental inability to perform their duty. It was best described as the two becoming best friends, however Sky and Krisna are a special case seeingbas they developedva more out going relationship with each other and others due to the time shes spent in this time period and the manipulation of diffrent alien specials forcing her to adapt to this times customs....
"Oh.... I see." Krisna nodded as she listened to the ancient AI's explaination on its state of being and its basic fuction, forcing Krisna to tap her chin cutly as she read her omni tool readings to get a better idea afther scanning the hologram of the AI. Krisna gathering rather quickly that his make up was of a more basic desigh if not equal or grater then that of Sky, it used a simiure means to mimic a physical begin allowing the AI to manipulate the world around it in someway. It was all very intreasting to imagin Krisna thought as she excitedly look at this find but first thing was first.
"Hmm So.... If I'm hearing this right, then your creator Dr Gongha preformed a complete concios mind dump?..... to copy his personality and make you Mr Gogo? Is that correct?" Krisna comfirmed as she carfully got up off the ground, using the desk between her and Mr Gogo for suport as she patted the dust off rear, cleaning Dessy's jacket that she was barrowing befor she casually walked around the desk to stand befor the AI projection in wonder. "Can you show me the repulsers!? What can you manilupate?"

Scorch watched on, this was Krisna's show and it was doubtful that she would have thought of anything interesting. While Krisna handled this she kept an eye out partially listening to what was going on though more alert for Inar's presence though she guessed that he wouldn't proceed further then the initial chamber at least at first.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
“Essentially,” it answered. “I was to serve as both an assistant and teacher for those that made it this far. I have been programmed with every known language, both spoken and not so it took only a sample of yours to understand you.
“The Hel'Corians have not come to this chamber in … oh, over two millennium now but as you can see I am built to last as is this structure.”
He brought her to one of the computers. There was an absence of dust she noted so it must have maintained the area and some of the liquids which should have been long evaporated were still in the vials and jars behind their sealed transparent cases.
“I exist only in this room or rather here,” it pointed to one of the computers and showed her the series of devices throughout the room that served as projectors that could be used as tractor or repulsor beams as needed, well beam was perhaps the wrong word since there was no visible light emitted.
They had a short range but seemed simple enough and this was perhaps a case where a bunch of cheaper ones scattered throughout the room were just as good as one expensive one that covered the entire room. If one broke down it wouldn't be the end of the world whereas if the lone one went down then the AI could do about it itself anyway.
The logistics were all explained to her and it was clear that the main computer controlled each one turning them on and off as necessary. “My limits have never been tested seeing that I have never been required to move anything to heavy but the parameters are set to that of which a Hel'Corian could move so probably a little more than a typical human.
[color=#40FFFF] “Will you two be staying long? I can assume with the absence of the Hel'Corians for so long that the settlement has met with an end though you may not have a choice in that matter if my assumptions are correct. I have no way to confirm this though and can detect things such as heart rate and respiration and did not detect anything abnormal save for the spike when I first appeared.”

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
"For those who made it this far?" Krisna repeated softly, looking at Mr Gogo curiously as he made his statement to the curious pair. " What do you mean by make it this far? Are you saying there was somthing that was so post to keep us out? Its facinating you have stayed fuctional for so long.... but I'm not suprised you were built to last.... so is Sky and my ship in the case of complete galactic collapse..." Krisna asked and replied as she fallowed Mr Gogo to the computer where he showed her his repulser array. Another facinating enginiering feat the travler had te pleasure to scan adding to her never ending catalog of this time period.
"How facinating?.... you are closet thing in this time period Ive seen that even remotly close to my tech level..... still you seem to be a couple generaion behind however its very close I'm goingbto have to port samples... hmm...." Krisna paused to think, cutly tapping her chin. " Mr Gogo..... can you test your limits and lift Dessy? I want to see your limits please... " Krisna asked as she pointed at her lover asking Mr Gogo to lift her, mostly to see if he would and/or could..... also to have a bit of fun.
"Uhm Yes.... Dessy and I will be for a while on the fact we discovered you, staying here to study you is now my main objective along with finding the source of that energy reading.... however Mr Gogo? Would you be willng to come with me and Dessy back to my humbug? If I'm correct I belive I can hold you in compressed storage on my omni tool untill we reach my ship... Sky would love to meet you....... I promise I would let her devour you..." Krisna asked.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
“Oh this planet was selected because it lacked hostile creatures, save for the Remnant. I am unable to leave this room and have been able to monitor things to a limited degree through other devices spread out through the settlement but they have all failed or died. To conserve power and last as long as I have I turned off most systems near the beginning. I have not thought to tap into the network in sometime as I assumed the situation was the same.”
He went on to show her this an that. “The energy signature you have detected is probably the generator below that powers this room. It isn't in a chamber shielded by the mineral ...” When it saw that she had no clue he elaborated.
“The mineral prevents scans in concentrated areas. A small amount of it throws off sensors though large qualities block it. The native creatures consume the stone and are invisible to scans of the usual sort.
“Perhaps you find this tech close to yours because we are from outside this galaxy. Doctor Gongha had been an explorer in his youth and had been one of the few survivors of the destruction of his home world. Most of the tech was lost but he did manage to bring a great deal along with him as well as this genetic library of all life of his world. His aim was to terraform a world eventually but needed assistance given the loss of tech.
“But he was an odd sort, easily distracted and came here to advance the Hel'Corian he collected. In time this planet would have been blessed though he wished to enlighten the Hel'Corian before employing their assistance. It was easier to convince a primitive species at the time to help rather than attempting to deal with an advanced one that may have taken over. The doctor was alone after all and easy to over power.”
Questions on the Remnant he held for now. He looked toward Scorch and nodded. “I could lift her.” He moved to Scorch and managed just that though it took a little effort on his part and Scorch did squirm barely registering what was going on before hand as she was paying more attention to the surroundings.
“I will come along. After analyzing your tool I can make adjustments to my programming. I do not have fear of being devoured, should I? While I have the memories of the doctor I do not have his emotions. They were unnecessary.
“Now then back to the Remnant. They are merely Hel'Corian that were subject to genetic tests. Doctor Gongha wished to develop their brain capacity and generated a drug for that. It went wrong … essentially it went right in the beginning though when the first Hel'Corian that was exposed passed due to natural causes she was reanimated and well … all the Hel'Corian were already infected … death was the trigger. The reanimated were quite hostile too and wished to have the living join their ranks.
“The Remnant are presumed to exist no longer. Their bodies would have broken down by now long ago and where as the ruins would have been crawling with them in the beginning ...” It had seemed concerned though, why even bring them up? Scorch, who had long been set down looked towards the program.
“Is it airborne? Can it be transmitted? Does the drug still exist and why tell us about them?”
“Only Hel'Corian are susceptible. In theory a bite could transmit it though unless it kills the Hel'Corian it will remain dormant until several hours or even days after death. The body becomes more resistant but all traces of the drug are long since gone … I … I am only curious as to the Hel'Corian chief. He was mummified so the body could be preserved even this long … he was placed in a sarcophagus though if he managed to get out he could be a threat.”

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
Krisna took notes as Mr Gogo spoke of his intreasting story and his creators journy through the cosmos, claiming to be a visitor outside this galaxy, much like herself in away as Krisna coukdnthelp but nod and agree. However Krisna documented what she could of the ancient AI's tech and his storys, but Krisnawas more willing to hear his tales back on the humbug with Sky once she compressed his being into her omni tool for transport later. For now Krisna was more excited watching Mr Gogo lift Scorch as Krisna couldnt help but giggle and clap at his strength to move people or things. "Wow! You can lift Dessy! Oh! Can you do more complicated things? like use tools or put together parts?" Krisba asked asshe watched with awe. "Uhm I know undo Dessys belt next!! Or her pants! Oh! Tug off her shirt!" Krisna giggled, getiing carried away as she used Scorch as a test subject for Mr Gogo to practice his repulsors on as she demanded to see more of Mr Gogo abilities..... and more of her lovers skin..... a equal excuse really.
Meanwhile afther the crazyness Krisna was either happy or disapointed her lover was or wasnt half naked right now as she simply got her Omni tool ready for Mr Gogo when he was ready to down load. "No no! No reason to be worried by that....uhmm... Sky will behave her self.... I hope" Krisna tried to reasure him befor he began speaking of a rather unpleasent topic that peaked her intreast of these remants and their orgin. "Wait.... are you saying you managed to produce a reanimation serum? Was your creator Mr Gogo mad? The study of reanimation has never been proven effective or useful..... however.... with the fact it was done here I'll need accsess to the helcorian's remains for a primordial strain.... Wait?..... how were there primitive Hel'corians on this planet? Arent the hel'corians originally from Hel'cor? At leasts thats what ADD records sugjest? is that data flawed"

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
“Whoa, OK, put me down now.” She hadn't been still while she was lifted though when she was set down and talk moved to removing her clothes she had stopped things after the belt being undone. Later, they were in a bit of a hurry though she did find Krissy rather distracting seeing most of her clothes had already been burned away.
She was willing to spend some time here, this was Krisna's interest after all though when she heard of the Remnant her eyes widened.
“What!? That's nuts! So they no longer exist save for a mummy, maybe? Could it transmit this thing or whatever? Damn, this is some bad holo vid, I bet the ruins will be infested with zombie reptiles or something – INAR!”

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
Stopped from demonstrating to the fullest right now the AI assured her it could manipulate tools. “I do not have the coordination of a surgeon or the like but can perform most mundane tasks.”
The pair seemed rather alarmed by the Remnant. It shook it's head though. “It was not the intention of enhancing their minds but an unforeseen side effect. Doctor Gongha's people used it all the time in their galaxy though her with the Hel'Corians this was an unfortunate side effect that quickly spiraled out of control.
“The agent cannot spread to other species so there will be no undead lizards to worry about and as I have stated it's unlikely that there is more than one of them left.
“Transmission is possible though only to other Hel'Corian and yes, the Hel'Corian are from what you would call the Lemur Cluster. Some where taken here by Doctor Gongha while the species was primitive … that is not of space age level,” though that still left a huge time frame when they could have been taken that did not seem too important right now.
“Who's Inar?”

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
"Aww.... now fair..." Krisna pouted, a little disapointed to see that her lovr didnt lose most of clothes likeshe hoped, however Krisna did get Mr Gogo to unbuckle her belt and even flash her lovers bra and panties, somthing that the travler already found distracting with Scorches outfit already burned showing more skin then nessessery. It was ovious whatever happened to Krisna back with that serpent Vespria has left Scorches little lover very frisky now..... yet that wasnt a tottally bad thing.
"I see so your creator abducted a large number of hel'corians?.....Is that morally ok? Krisna asked as she lookee between her lover and Mr Gogo trying to make sense of this conversation. "And ths virus effects helcorians only?" Krisna asked befor she to realized the dire situation their guest Inar may face.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
The show had been short lived. Scorch was already replacing the belt securing it back into place as the attention of the AI shifted towards Krisna. It shook it's head slightly to clarify the information that it had supplied.
“He did not abduct any of them, They came willingly. Of course many may have been mistaken in their beliefs but it was not encouraged that Doctor Gongha was a God. They mistook his tech as sorcery and made the conclusions that he was some deity.
“Bringing back the dead … in a sense it may have seemed that way when in fact the beings were not dead at all just exposed to better life saving techniques. Sort of like someone using CPR and being credited with the magical gift of saving life when it is mere knowledge of science that has lead to the development of life saving techniques.
“But the doctor allowed them to think as they would. He never made the claims of being a God though he needed the help and if they were more willing to assist because of their beliefs Doctor Gongha was not going to dissuade them.”
He paused for a brief moment as if reflecting over her second concern. “There was an accident later with many dead Hel'Corian coming back they destroyed some of the agents spreading the disease even further by making it airborne. Though by that stage the factor laid dormant in all of them waiting for death to trigger it so that did not matter.
“The airborne strain can only exist a short time outside a Hel'Corian host and thus died out long ago. Only the mummy would retain any traces of the factor and only Hel'Corians could be infected.
“In all the chaos as things progressed rapidly there was no time to neutralize this factor. Once it is triggered at the death of the Hel'Corian reversal is no longer possible but while in it's dormant state the factor can be removed. There just was no time before with all that happened. I am confined to this room more or less and could only help those that made it here. By this stage Doctor Gongha had already been deceased himself for a number of years.” He explained so it seemed that as long as Inar wasn't killed by this mummy, if it still existed, he could be saved. Even if dying the factor could be removed even though he would still die if not treated for his injuries.
It was clear that the factor could be removed easily enough but not suspecting it of having an adverse effect until the first Hel'Corian died there had been no reason to remove it. All the science could be provided for Krisna and it was easy enough to concoct a cure here if needed and in fact it could be done in as little as fifteen minutes.
The AI would answer any questions in detail, boring Scorch who got the gist of the matter. Mummy bad, reanimated dead bad, Inar in slim danger.
“Shall we go find him?”
“Statistics cannot be calculated since I have few means of interacting outside of this room. There are some other areas where I could provide services but no interactions in this sense but as I already mentioned most of these connections have failed throughout the years.”
Scorch drummed her fingers against her empty holster looking toward her lover. The ruins full of undead Hel'Corians had not filled her brain though she had no idea as to how tough this mummy would be. She figured fire would help but at the same time this was a Hel'Corian too so there could be some resistance to deal with as well. She simply did not know but one enemy sounded better then hundred or even thousands of them she had no idea as to how many people were here.
---
Right now there was only one Hel'Corian on the planet but there was soon to be two. Transmissions to and from the Humbug had been severed due to the same material that prevented scanning. Devices did not work through such material and advanced warning that Cid was entering the system could not be relayed at least to Scorch and Krisna though Sky could still pick up Inar. He wasn't in one of the buildings currently and though Cid's vessel was still at extreme ranges more so then detailed scans it could be surmised that few knew of this planet, at least as far as Inar had supplied them.
The ship was larger, a cruiser though it was not as huge as Ven's battleship being stored within along with a few others it was mainly droid fighters that filled the hangers of Ven's craft. The thing though was that the Humbug had better sensors and thus had more time to react as far as hiding behind one of the planet's moons or even descending into the atmosphere of the planet before Cid could make scans though he was going to run into the same sorts of problems Sky could surmise.
He would pinpoint the energy source but fail to penetrate the buildings down their and thus could be blind to the fact that anyone was down there. Native life was simply unscannable and if Inar got inside he would not be detected so there were options open to Sky and Inar depending how they tackled the situation at hand.

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
"I see... so, your creator mislead these primitive hel'corians into willingly coming with him...... all for what? To be test subjects? body guards? or was it to simply be worshiped? Regardless you creator Dr Gongha has broken guild law 6-928 and you and his work will be seized for the betterment of sentiant kind.... be ready for compressed storage..." Krisna said with a rather stern tone, looking to the ancient hologram with some mild look of distaste, a side of Krisna Scorch rarly got to see as her fired hair lover would soon see her sweet inocent Krisna tinker with her omni tool. It was more the fact that beings like this Dr Gongha irritated the cute young travler, advanced races were forbidden from ruling over, exterminating, or indoctronating primitive beings above and beyound anything but self protection... this Dr Gongha seems to have broken all those rules. Krisna wasnt always a rules lawer nor did she like pushing her rules on others often but this was a diffrent situation entirly, this doctor the AI mentioned was the closet being shes seen even come close to her level of tech..... and the fact he created a reanimation air born drug was even worse.....
"Mr gogo.... Give me all your research regarding a cure for the pathogen.... I'm not letting narnar die like that.... I want your tech scimatics, experiments and all knowledge... all of it, including your self mr gogo...." Krisna would expain, prosenting her omni tool to the hologrom for it to examin and the transfer to if he came willingly..... however Scorch may notice that as Krisna handed the omni tool over to the hologram that it did not go dead like the countless times befor when it was seized or taken by force....
After that ordeal Krisna downloaded all worth while information from Mr Gogo, readied a packet for Sky when they resumed conntact so the Ai could develop a serum later just incase Inar was infected as Krisna rejoined her lovers side and nodded ready to find her missing guest...(#1)

(#2)... missing guest. "Let go find Narnar Dessy.... Hopfully hes not hurt... becuse then who els will make Sky laugh?.." Krisna would say with a smile, taking her lovers hand and letting her lead the way.
--
Meanwhile in orbit over Cyanabar the humbug opserved the planet below for any anomalys, using probes to scout the land and fabricate a real time map of the lost world for future studies, alwhie Sky the curious AI watched footage of the groups playful games from earlyer befor they started their little adeventure. Sky studing the footage over and over, taking notes on Krisna's stimuli reaction to her playmates advances, hoping to better mimic those same reactions and what forced Krisna to react in hopes to later help Krisna with her episodes. It was work Sky took very seriously since the inncident at Vspria's club as she submurged her self in reply afther reply almost missing the radar come to life telling her that they had company...... However with no way to warn them what coukd she do other then stay hidden.....

Re: Cynabar (for Krisna)
The AI answered her question not knowing if it was rhetorical or not. “He had allowed them to believe as they would though he did experiment with their intellect producing unforeseen consequences.”
It seemed confused as she offered up the OMNI though it took it. “I am not familiar with such laws. Nor will I be subject to them as these events occurred before the establishment of laws governing this sector. At the time that such violations occurred there were no sentient beings or governments in this sector of space so it was in no such violation.”
But all was not just one sided even though they were aware that just taking the computers from here was just as effective. The information on the experiment were happily turned over though, along with some speculation data and even a cure for the unforeseen elements that broke out. All that data was turned over.
“I'm afraid I have no details on my creation that can be turned over. Though if anywhere such details may be in Doctor Gongha's lab or further in his tomb.” This was his tomb, something that the AI would clarify if asked or if that detail seemed unclear. It waited though it had turned on this computer or that to access the right files or information that was requested.
