I wave my hand as I water appears in a cup I put infront of you. I went back to my tea that I had made while you were out training. "You look concerned or perhaps confused. What is it my appretnice?" I ask her.

She took deep drinks from the cup. It helped calm her down but she was still rather weary from the first session of her training. The dark witch was unsure what to think of Keemari's sudden concern. It was like he was really acting like a teacher tutoring a student. It was difficult to read the wolf's features much less intentions.

"It's nothing, it matters little," She answers softly, "But, why are you helping me? You know what I intend to do when I grow strong enough. I already tried to kill you and I have not forgiven taking Clarice like that..."

"Well you can try and welcome the challenge, however I suppose I would help to open your eyes to many things. Perhaps you should think about why your wondering why I'm helping. Is it that odd that I would offer you a hand, even with such a price attached. Is the thought of generisity from me or just anything in general so foreign to you?" I ask her.

Kanoe frowns slightly. Becoming nothing more than a quivering pile of cum covered flesh before him the time before does warrant caution. Her lover was taken in by this same man and eventually could not resist him, giving her body to the wolf. She couldn't help but keep searching for the trick or the catch to this agreement.

"Generosity period from anyone is foreign," She replies, setting the now empty cup back onto the table, "But, I have little choice in the matter. It is the only way I will grow."

"That is true, I doubt any demon on the Island who is more proficient at Dark Magic then I would even offer you this type of deal. They would rather just rape you and be done with it. Which really if you think about it I could do myself. I've already shown that I am indeed more powerful. Yet I choose to let you two learn from me in exchange for a standard price for such relationships.

I know it's hard for you to see with so many monsters around seeking your beautiful body for there pleasure as it seems I want to do the same. However there is a kindness in that nature the belies it. Your just a bit too untrusting to see it. However that's a good trait on this Island so I don't fault you for it." I tell her.

The way Keemari put it, it did make some sense. The druid could really be doing this out of kindness and wish to see the dark witch grow. But her own paranoia that has only grown since arriving on the island kept screaming trick. Either way, it did not matter. No matter his reason for helping, Claire and her only need him to help control their powers and possibly new spells to fight off the monsters. Of course she will continue her path of power beyond that but one step at a time.

She had no real way to respond to his statement. Trying to push the point would lead nowhere and admitting he's right she would rather slam her head into something. The witch simply sighs and concentrates on resting up for her next part of her lesson.

I smirk at that. It was just as much of a victory to have her sigh and scoff. To have silenced that sharp toungue of hers was a great achievement that I took suprisingly some pride in.

"Well when we start again shall I up the diffculty or are you happy with the low setting at the moment?" I ask her.

She frowns at the term low settings. Of course it was true but hearing it from him did rouse her slightly. Brushing strands of hair back behind her shoulders, she looks up at Keemari. It was difficult to say if she was ready or not. There was so much she did not know. Even the basics are foreign to her. It was a wonder she knew any spells at all, stumbling into a brief moment of genius to get this far alone without translation.

"You tell me," She replies simply, "You must have saw much more than I while I was focused and channeling."

I stare at her intently as I seem to judge her. "You have the motivation, but you lack what I think is a sense of peril that helps a person go further. The monsters do give that but it's not life threatening. I could tip the needle with a chemical that would give you that motivation as well as make it a bit harder. Going slow will get you there, but I have a feeling you went to go leaps and bounds in order to protect your beloved." I telll her.

Her jaw clenches at the mention of Clarice. She had every desire to tell him that was not his concern. But, it would do little as they were both his apprentice. Sense of peril, it felt like she was going to burst at any moment from the well of power she was channeling constantly with so much focus and control. Of course it was a bit easier to just focus on the flow in her body and not worry about the needle piercing her finger. She already proven that she could hold up the needle so she should have nothing to worry about.

"Something worse than monsters and brutal searing scars on my arm?" She said calmly, "Well the longer I take, the longer my body is their toy. What is it you have in mind?"

"I want you rest well, since we will now be training to the brink of your life. I will apply the salve to your arm to stem the decay. The real peril is without enough control one of my guard plants will swoop down and attack you if you let that needle pierce your finger in the slightest. If it senses blood then it will attack you." I tell her offering up my idea.

"Hmph, fine," She answers, "But don't think I will stand by and let your plants attack me. They come near me, I'll destroy them."

Kanoe was about to rise up from her chair but she knew that rest was still needed. She will show him she can handle this. Clarice did mention that she needed to catch up to her lover. If this will help take bigger steps to her goal then so be it.

"Very good. I'll set it up and pick one of my random guard flowers. Don't regret it now. We'll resume in a half hour." I tell her as I summon her more water as I then go and make the preperations.

Once done I come back and get her and lead her outside where the point was ready as you see a tiny vine wrapped just above it. "Are you ready?" I tell her as I then pull it down ready for her to get in postion. "Oh yes roll down you sleeves, that way I can apply the ointiment right away." I tell her as I wait.

When Keemari returns, the cup was empty. No doubt she was going to sweat it out as she channels otherworldly forces. The woman did not pay the vine any mind as she walks into position. To study what the plant was would only matter if she fails and to prepare for failure isn't a wise mindset at all she thought. Kanoe does as the druid asks, rolling up the sleeve of her right arm. It was not exactly needed but best to do so just incase the fabric gets stuck on her arm.

Whispering faintly to herself, brief winds of force wisp about her as she begins to channel once more. Repeating what she did before, her eyes close as a tiny jet black bead appears quivering just on her fingertip. Keeping her focus on the power welling up behind the floodgates, she did her best to keep it open only a crack and let controlled amounts feed into her spell.

I move everything into postion and allow her to continue her training. Whether my idea to increase her intenstity her desire would pay off would soon show. If she didn't, then ether it wasn't enough in which case I had a plan for that, however as her teacher her growth was my main priotity and for that the basics had to be learned and engraved into her being.
