Julie nodded. Yeah tropical islands tended to be warm though se had been concerned that there ay be a cold front that swept over the island on occasion that she did not know about but she could deal with the heat, the blessed heat.

Julie formed a ring of stones.

“Rain would suck but believe me after seeing so much snow in the Rocies it's welcome.”

"You won't be saying that when you get sick," Lily said as she arranged the wood and kindling. She held out her hand for the lighter as she put the last initial stick in place and set aside the rest for firewood.

“I suppose I wouldn't but my fortitude was pretty good with the Colorodo being so cold all the time. Rain in the tropics would be refreshing I bet. Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of shelter should it rain.”

Julie shrugged. “But th sky looks kind of clear so hopeful a storm doens't sneak up on us. Still are their caves around her that we can hold up in for the night? Of course we have little idea as to where we are so I guess that's out.”

"Yeah I haven't exactly explored this far," Lily admitted. I got so distracted talking to you I lost track of how far we'd gone. We're on oue own until we can find our way back tomorrow." Lily sparked the kindling and blew on it gently to feed the fire.

Julie set down the small purse she had been carrying pulling out a Snickers bar. She broke it in half offering her up a piece. “Dinner then.” She'd be ready for breakfast in the morning after sustaining herself on half a cany bar but that was alright.

“Good thing those monsters aren't real this is the perfect storm of events for a horror novel where something comes across us.”

Lily thanked her for the candy and took a bite out of it. "Still wanna see my tattoo?" She asked.

Julie nodded, “Most certainly. I didn't think you'd ask.”

Lily lifted up the hem of her skirt and turned so Julie could see it. The tattoo was a music note and the lower portion of the bulb dipped into her stocking.

She admired it. “Did it hurt? How long did it take?”

"No, it didn't hurt. Getting a tattoo is more annoying than painful. It's like an itch you can't scratch. And it took a couple hours to get it perfect," Lily explained.

“Still, it's nice work. God, I'm envious of you. Your parents seem like cool people to let you do that, wish mine were as cool.” She sighed, then looked at Lily. “Any brothers or sisters?” She gazed down at the tattoo again then flickered her gaze back toward Lily.

After she had answered the question she nodded thoughtfully. “Do you really think theres anything behind those stories about there being monsters?”

"Nope, I'm an only child," Lily answered. "Myths and stories tend to get their inspiration from somewhere. There could be monsters that started the stories, but I doubt it's really as bad as everyone says."

“I'm an only child as well.” Julie admitted, Aegir manipulating the illusion all the while so that in the end Lily would understand that such myths were based on reality.

“Your probably right ...” Julie flickered her gaze away then back at her. She smiled. “Well I guess that kills the concern in having an audience.” She leaned in to touch her lips to the other girl, stopping short if the other girl seemed to be taken back, she was unsure of her orientation after all and there was a chance that matters were going to be awkward if she were rebuffed though she d0ubted it. She had just got a feel, or rather Aegir already knew the tendancies of the student and how she was likely to respond.

Lily blushed hotly. She hadn't expected this, but at the same time she didn't mind. She kissed Julie back and threw her arms around the girl.

Julie melted into that kiss, her lips pressing against Lily's though this was little more than an elaborate trap that one of the island denziens had set up Aegir continued on as he had some fun with the moment that was occurring. Lily had been so immersed in the illusion that this was not even a concern for her right now.

Julie set a hand down on her thigh, stroking slwoly against bared flesh as her other hand moved up to encompass the swell of Lily's breast. When their lips parted from that kiss she was looking into her eyes.

“Your going to sing for me Liy.” She grinned then returned her lips back to her own.
