Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
She retained a human perspective on matters throughout most of their dealings and the chaotic nature of flame merely added to the pressure bestowed unto him, facing the inarguably incandescant glow of her charms which attempted to melt stone with the ever present fires of her smoking hot appearance. Magma was her true goal and while the freshly conjured warmth around him licked and comforted his unyielding stature, they could not hope to form such marvelous amalgams although Flame certainly noticed the undeniable flicker of want in his lingering gaze.
"Soon." Flame noted with hardly concealed jubilance once Roc inched closer and brought his calloused hand to that round and exquisitely cushiony bottom for not even cloth could possibly impair the sight and feel of her delectable charms. She sighed softly in approval and enjoyment of that brief caress, knowing fully well that her own modesty would have forbidden them to do more on the spot anyway. It was fortunate he resided inbetween her and Brie, however, masking his sensual advances with his own body.
It was short lived, but Flame only found herself encouraged to look forward to the moment they came together in the heights of mutual attraction, likewise realising that they had to at least deal with Stratos beforehand while leaving Cain for later.
A surprising notion struck the sorceress nevertheless while the two continued to explain. They retrieved Nicodemus's feather some time back and restored a great portion of his strength, something the Fallen Angel himself mentioned when they last spent time in each other's company, but to have his strength split into two objects?
It may be worth falling back on once they rejoined the remainder of the group, but for the moment Flame was left wondering if Roc's assumptions were ultimately proven correct or that they had restored his strength fully in the coming weeks. His strength might have been divided, but likely not everything had been severed as to maintain a more useful servant to the witch for what good was an Angel without any powers whatsoever?
Or perhaps the young woman found herself on the wrong track entirely and his strength could be sealed away into several objects, but Roc did not mean to say that they actually were.
In essence Flame figured that Lich hunting was beyond foolish for one of her age and knowledge on these matters hence leaving it to professionals seemed like a good idea. Spending centuries on discerning a means to destroy a single evil entity felt like a waste to the human oriented construct. She was no priest either and such sophisticated Divinations likely resided beyond her immediate reach, not that they appeared to be all too effective in leading clergy to the answer they sought.
"So the Undead can never become good, I see." Free willed ones reigned over animated guardians and despised the living to the core even if they tried their utmost to strive for a more humane existence. "Are there places the Undead cannot enter or walk on?" It was probably best not to set out for Undead in the first place and Flame slowly but surely began to understand why the Fae loathed Necromancy to such an extent. "I thank you for telling me what you know. I don't believe I have any more questions."

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
Brie nodded in answer to her question. “Several in fact,” she smiled happy to share her knowledge though wondered why the Dwarf seemed to know and she did not. She had surmised that he had picked up things over the years and if they were after magic scrolls he had to be a spell caster. She was trying to work out if he was a Wizard or Sorcerer which was rare in Dwarven society or a Priest, far more common with most being good with the elemental spells of earth given the terrain they lived in.
In the end it did not matter. She concluded that the human was like most others of her kind, ignorant to most things but had the resources to employ a servant that took care of her spell casting needs. She was unsure about the display of flame though. Was it magical of just an Elemental thing? She thought nothing less of the pair though and being part Brownie she was utterly fascinated to be in the presence of someone that contained human blood.
“Sanctified areas; graveyards, churches … there are Blessings that can effectively sanctify an area though they take quite some time to cast so they're useless in combat. There are abjuration spells that can hedge out summoned evil namely minions conjured into being though it does shield one against possession too.
“And of course there are regions of positive energy which is the opposite of life draining Necromantic effects. The two energies cancel out and so an Undead being who derives their power from negative energy rapidly infuse with positive energy canceling out the forces that animate them in the first place and well they are destroyed.”
Roc nodded in agreement. “There was one thing I forgot to add as far as slitting up life force and such between multiple objects. One need not divide them evenly though such is often the case. In essence you could lock away all but a sliver of a being's essence into one object and barely anything in another.”
“It is tricky but can be done,” Brie agreed smiling as Tucker returned. “That was quicker than I figured but you are full blooded ...”
Tucker grinned. “Would you expect anything less?” He presented them with their scrolls and Roc looked each over to ensure it was the right spell. “So what's this about splitting life forces?”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
Graveyards hardly made sense to the young sorceress considering that long since perished people likely made for ideal minions although the location might possess a more or less evident relation to peaceful rest which caused them to refrain from entering these places, but perhaps the proximity to churches might have more of an impact on these matters, not that Flame could make any sense of it at the time. She was pleased to receive such an answer nevertheless, just in cause they ever had the misfortunate of stumbling across their kind.
She nodded toward Brie, smiling warmly in response to her open nature. "Thank you again. I'm sure it'll come in handy should we ever cross paths with the Undead."
Roc, on the other hand, had her thinking that Nicodemus might actually lack a sliver of strength even though they managed to return most of it in one piece. Perhaps the difference between full strength and lacking whichever portion remained hidden was negligible to the point where even the Angel himself believed he was restored completely, but that was for another time to study as they probably had weeks to prepare for an attack if their plan turned out to be successful.
In any case, they hardly had time for more as Tucker joined up with the trio and handed the Dwarf a pair of scrolls while crimson eyes flicker to the male sibling of the two Fae nearby. "Not much, really. We just happened to be speaking of the Undead which piqued my interest about one particular kind among them."
"It's safe to say the main focus of our conversation resided with Liches themselves. I was curious as I never heard of them before, let alone the Undead, and wondered if they could tie their soul to more than one object which is how we got to speak of Demons and Deity's who apparantly can split their life force into numerous objects at the same time."
It was the gist of things, Flame figured, not that any of them were true scholars in that regard although they managed to relay an enormous heap of information to the red head in their midst. "Nothing more than idle conversation, I assure you."
Briefly shifting her attention to Roc, the young woman inched closer, peeking over his shoulder as amusing as it was to tower over the shorter Dwarf although Flame probably could not discern any of the information the scrolls contained anyway. "Are they the scrolls we need?"

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
She had been correct in her own thoughts. It was the graveyards that had been consecrated by Priests and not just all resting places though most cultures sanctified their graveyards to prevent the dead from rising again. But a sanctified area could be defiled either by spell or deed thus a church was probably a better example of a sanctified place as any defilement would be noticed much quicker there and neutralized. Not all cemeteries were so lucky.
Roc seemed to pick up on Flame's thoughts in regard to Nicodemus. And shook his head holding up three fingers to relay to her without words that Nicodemus would have to have been split into three parts. In his case as far as Roc was aware the sliver of power remained with him and the bulk of his power resided in the feather that they recovered. If this was the case he had to be powerful indeed given the vast amount of power that that sliver seemed to maintain.
“Splitting of life forces, you must have been speaking of Liches or Apparitions, which is it?” He seemed more curious though he shuddered at the topic for the Fae had a distaste for the Undead. He got his answer and nodded. “Strong Demon Lords and imprisoned ancient Deities … Spirits too, they can exist in two places some times though theirs is a special case. Some just keep returning to haunt the same places or people unless a specific action puts them at rest. Sometimes their essence is attached to an object that destroys them if it is destroyed. Most require a little research to deal with but the malignant forces that create one make the mystery far more easier to discover than a Liches destruction of it's phylactery. You really haven't heard of the Undead? I am envious though there are few that you shall find in the Kingdom of the Fae except maybe Banshee and even those are rare indeed ...”
As Flame looked she could tell the writing was magical, in fact she could have probably deciphered it as reading magical script had been among the easiest and first learned spells just as detecting magic was though not everyone had the same success at that. Some learned to read auras and get a feel of their strengths and type of magic whereas a novice might only detect the presence or absence of magic nearby. Typhoon was great at determining these auras and the other Elemental Masters probably had a skill level on par with him.
“They are. Next we find Stratos.”
“Stratos?” Tucker repeated the name and it suddenly became all too obvious to Roc of his slip up. “You are looking for the Blessed One?”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
Three? A worrisome truth if proven true in the near or, even worse, distant future when it was too late to do anything else. Needless to say Nicodemus was incredibly powerful, for even with a sliver he could heal her wounds among numerous other magical talents Flame was not yet privy to. She could not care for his strength if not for the sake of beating the witch herself since even without angelic might Flame would have cherished him dearly, but their mutual goal could only be accomplished with his full power restored.
It was another matter for another time once Roc and Flame ventured on alone, without foreign ears to tune into their conversations. She was pleased to know that the Fae retrieved the correct scrolls, but nearly frowned when it immediately became clear that the Dwarf responded hastily enough to slip up. She managed to conceal a frown, but the damage was done.
Should they deny or confess the truth? Flame happened to be a terrible liar and often failed to weave even the slightest lie unless solely wrapped up in countless white lies and half truths which served to take the blame elsewhere. Seduction was an intriguing art the voluptuous young sorceress had gotten most familiarised with over more recent days, but similar to her aforementioned shortcomings on stage, the nubile red head could not put on a facade strong enough to defy the odds.
Brie might fall for it given her fascination with the human portion of her own self, but Tucker undoubtedly saw through it the instant Flame attempted to deceive them hence speaking up first and then leaving the rest to her alleged servant seemed to be the most prudent course of action. If nothing could be saved in their current situation, she figured it wouldn't be too much of a problem. They were just two Fae, after all.
Crimson eyes flicker to the brother, curious as to how much he read into the matter. "We met before, a few days back with regards to a more or less delicate issue we have faced along the way, but not one that I will disclose to you right now."
She nodded in confirmation of that notion. "We have a vague idea on where to find him should we need his services."
They had the scrolls, they paid for them, it was best these two knew as little as possible although her shielded defense might have aroused suspicion. Of course Flame would allow Roc to take over any minute as it was not his first slip up from what the sorceress recalled, uncertain as to what to do next as she bowed slightly in appreciation for the male sibling's services. "I thank you for your help. You've done me a great service with your discretion."

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
“I doubt that … he is no longer on this Shadow,” he announced. “But it is easy enough to bring him here.”
Roc understood a little better, not that he had a clue as to where Stratos was bu as to other matters. “It is a matter that we cannot wait around too long for.”
“I see. And past dealings that you do not wish to discuss …” Tucker rubbed his chin as he considered. “It may not be sensible to tell you were you may find him in the event that he does not wish to be found, not that he need worry about many beings.”
“He's at Auran.” Brie added. Tucker gave her an incredulous look. “Human, remember? She could be dead before you finished with the inquisition.”
“Auran? Of course.”
“He is sylph. He's gone home.”
Roc was familiar with the Shadow. The home of airborne creatures and Air Elementals. There was no sky on that Shadow, just air. “When is he coming back?”
“I could get him here or any other place by morning. I trust those scrolls are to protect against his abilities?” Tucker did not seem to condone their actions though he was laying out all the facts on the table.

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
As matters unfolded as they most likely had to with their plans suddenly revealed, Flame noticed that Brie must have deliberately masked her true nature. For what reason the young woman could not say with certainty, but she happened to be thankful nevertheless for not everyone needed to know of her true nature, let alone their real identities since none had even ever asked for Roc's name thus far.
It was odd to hear Tucker propose retrieving Stratos by himself or rather ask him to come. Scrolls and an actual Sylph had been two different matters entirely. If he had the influence to compel him to come or if Stratos simply bounced around eternity, venturing from one place to another with an open ear for pretty much everyone, Flame could not explain it at the time. If he lied and Stratos had not gone anywhere they would encounter him for dinner or breakfast in the inn they stayed in last time anyway, so trying was probably the most reasonable course of action until they found Stratos themselves or he was brought to them.
"By morning? I'm not sure we can afford waiting around for that long." What a shame. Had they known earlier, they could have asked Stratos for help several days back although the probable delay had her reconsider the inherent misery of their newfound dilemma.
Scarlet eyes calmly settled upon the Dwarf with a more than devious glint in their midst although her face did not show anything but surprise given his response while Flame required little more than the slightest moment to absorb herself in his muscular facade, discerning each formidably sculpted bulk beneath his garments. She knew what laid below, an alluringly masculine canvas adorned by paintings of his heroic deeds and valiant hunts, each another intriguing piece of art work to study. In a sense Roc truly was handsome in his own thrill inducing and battle hardened appearance and Flame could not deny the faint tingle spreading over her peachy skin, almost feeling herself melt within his sublime yet calloused hands, holding onto her with a might which equally invoked the thought of protection and dominance to overcome the voluptuous sorceress in the hot and hazy lust based confinement of the bedroom, chaining the fiery red temptress to his whims.
She had a blatant weakness for stronger partners although confidence, personal appeal and the comfort of any given situation sometimes went a long way to make her forget that particular fondness amongst other matters such as a more than evident age difference as was once the case in the more recent past.
Perhaps a delay wasn't too bad, but Flame would rather not gamble with how much time they actually had to spend, not that they had a choice with Stratos caught up elsewhere. They had to endure and little else would have made sense, but Roc had the chance to chime in as her dutiful servant and comment as to whether that was sufficient or not before Flame pressed on.
"Admittedly, they are. Renowned as Stratos may be, he is mostly a stranger to me and some private matters are better unseen by stranger's eyes." She figured the truth could hardly hurt as Tucker had already seen through a minor extent of their plans. "Would you be willing to help us, then? As my servant already mentioned, we're fairly short on time in the grand scheme of things and need Stratos to come here without delay. It is imperative that we save as much time as possible."
Naturally Flame wondered about payment. Surely his services would not come for free once more although the thought of his earlier insinuation about doing anal certainly had a cold shiver sweep through her every fibre at once. "If you're saying you can have him back here by morning, I'd ask you to retrieve him."

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
Brie did not feel as if what was said had been for every day repetition. She would determine that by Erie. If she seemed to tell everyone then she would not keep that information aside. The fact that she was part human had caused the Fae to be endeared with her in a way that she would not have been other wise and the fact that Fae loved games and secrets in the first place meant that is something was common knowledge then it was less worthwhile.
True names had power some would say and being closely attached to magic as they were the Fae did not pry so much here. If they did then chances were good that they were playing on using some nefarious enchantment of one sort or another. Thus no one bothered with the names of the Dwarf. All Fae tended to have three names any way. Their true name which held power over them, the name that they used in public and a family name that they tended to use with close friends and family which was often a clue to the true name. It was considered a great honor to learn the family name of a Fae as it was giving a hint to the true name and trusted one not take advantage of this.
“There is no need to wait though I would need an idea as to where to find you at so that Stratos may find you and not waste too much time. A region of a particular Shadow would do. He has an array of spells at his disposal and plenty of Divinations so I am sure he will locate you without a doubt but if a day is too long for you,” he rubbed his chin as he reflected on this. Humans were so impatient!
Roc had caught Flame's gaze. For him a day was not long though longer than what a Fae viewed it as. They could go to the inn to see if he were there though Roc was hoping he was not. Not that he wished to delay but if there were no interruptions then perhaps he and her could spend the day in more creative ways.
“Waiting is probably for the best,” he announced. “We can wait where we saw him last time at that inn among the Pixies.” It provided a reference point for Tucker and the young Fae nodded at that.
To Flame's request though he looked at the sorceress though not in a lecherous way. He was thinking as how best to profit from the matter. “For a favor -” He began. That was the preferred currency of the Fae. One never knew what one needed though the favors were of a comparable nature. If one gave you a stick of gum they could not ask for a steak dinner as repayment after all.
“Oh, I will get him. No charge. I may not be as quick as you brother but I am still half Sylph and can get to Auran easy enough. I can find him within the day.”
“No fun sis. Fine, I will find him free of charge.”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
She cast a smile upon Brie who singlehandedly undermined her brother's insistence on a favor before setting them upon the male sibling himself. "I thank you for your generosity."
It was spoken without any mischief in mind and the buxom woman honestly doubted that she could have ever paid him back anyway even if eternity laid ahead of them. However, once that was handled, Flame secretly pondered on which course of action had been more prudent to pursue with the matter of Stratos currently barred from their influence until Tucker found him and brought the Sylph back from Auran.
Staying entailed prowling the streets with Roc, or more importantly the sheets as the young sorceress often hoped to do since the first time they wound up in that lust fuelled haze, but then again virtually anything in pleasant company would do as leisure time commonly ran short and left her with little else to do other than invest both time and effort in their plan.
But visiting Cain also crossed the mind since Brie happened to be with them at the time. She wondered if heading there now would be wiser than sticking around for some sweet time with the Dwarf although for once Flame determined that leaving her decision with them might bear either desired result, whichever of the two that may be.
"Shall we return to the inn, then? Or do you think we can manage to visit Cain before sundown? Or something else we haven't seen during our last visit that might be worth seeing?"

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
“You are most welcome,” Tucker made a sweep of his hand as he bowed. If anything the Fae were well mannered when they weren't being tricksters. Tucker vanished before their eyes breaking up one the wind as if he were never there in the first place though the Sylph were unique in that they all could find their way to Auran their native Shadow. Further they had the ability to travel to any point on the Shadow they were on where there was air. Locked doors were not the bane of them though appearing on the ocean floor was impossible for them.
Over all they were quick dematerializing in one area in a way that had been greater than invisibility as their essence was whisked along to wherever they envisioned. It was not an instantaneous travel but it was quick never the less.
With him gone though Brie smiled at the question she was posed. She was a half breed and not as quick as her brother though she still had her means. Seeing Cain seemed to interest Erie and she noted that the Dwarf did not have any huge objections to it or at least seemed to be waiting to see how long it would take first.
“Oh, seeing Cain can easily be done,” she spoke in that Sylvan tongue, her words carrying on the wind and streaking off magically. It was a simple spell really, one that embodied Air magic where a whispered message carried itself upon the wind to a target. She had plenty of innate spells too, though that had not been among them but something useful she picked up.
“I have told my brother where he can find us. It will take less than a day. The Princess has set up Teleportation Circles all throughout the Kingdom so getting to him should take only an hour, two at the most.”
Roc assessed this and looked to Flame. He nodded in approval. “It means a lot to you,” seeing that she lacked memories. Cain may be able to help and they had to wait on Stratos any way. Such carnal delights could wait too, he was eager it was true but he was also patient too and would follow her lead on the matter.
“Great. Shall we go then?”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
It was quite a spectacle to watch their fourth companion fade away into thin air, but then again Flame should have expected something along those lines from the magically blessed Fae. She turned her attention back to the matter at hand while Tucker retrieved Stratos, contemplating the logistic of travelling with the aforementioned Teleportation Circles.
Whitney had explained them in great detail and Flame doubted that they were any different to the ones in the grandiose Vault he showed off back then. Brie seemed pleased to have the opportunity to lead them along and two hours in their company wouldn't be too bad considering their destination and what the three could discuss.
Surprisingly enough Flame recalled the mention of Oberron, but the Princess .. the Princess .. She was but an echo in the void that her memory had become and what few notions people revealed to her about any particular Fae hardly stuck with her. Perhaps Spencer had more to tell, something that Brie had not in the conclusion of their journey and soon, hopefully, the defeat of the witch.
If the red haired beauty somehow managed to get carried away with their time spent in Cain's presence, surely Roc would remind her of their duties the next morning. Perhaps they had the chance to stay over for a change, not that she sought to stay in a stranger's home although they happened to be fairly close before, did they not?
"Yes .." Flame confessed with a ponderous glance to the ground, skimming through every piece of memory of him that could be found, but other than what Abdul relayed a few days back, Cain hardly infused the sorceress with a sense of familiarity in spite of them having spent time with him and his wife. She could not remember her name at the time, having to process such ample degrees of knowledge that it was lost to her once more.
She looked up, a little more confident than before and Flame stepped closer to the two immediately, ready to depart with them by her side. "Yes, I'd like to see him as soon as possible. We should get on our way."

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
“Then it is worth doing. After all remembering why you're fighting is worthwhile.”
“Fighting?”
“To remember,” Roc answered so smoothly that the later may not have been a slip but what he intended to relay after all.
Brie seemed to buy it and nodded. “Right this way.” She lead the pair to a tree top village of Elves nearby rather than traveling to the Pixies knowing that they and the Faerie Dragons could be a handful. It seemed as if the Teleportation circle had been public access or Brie was rather important but to which she couldn't say.
They were getting stares in that travelers among them had been rare especially a Dwarf and Human in tandem. It just stuck out though no one approached them. They had been asked why they were traveling by one of the operators at the Teleportation Circle but this was routine.
“Business.” Roc answered and gave a detailed account of how he was trading cut gemstones to be set into necklaces and rings here before getting them back and selling them among the Dwarfs. When asked why he didn't use Dwarf craftsmen he had relayed that the Elves worked cheaper than his kin and he could turn more of a profit on matters.
They had traveled between several areas. Most Teleportation Circles only linked to one other unlike the ones within the City Within A City. So they had to travel to a larger settlement that this circle linked to. It was the only one here in the smaller settlement though once at a larger one there were a few others that went to various points.
They traveled about coming to a large Elven settlement on the forest floor where Brie lead them on to a nearby lake that sported a large house near it. A river fed into the lake and the area seemed calm.
“Your lucky that Cain is pretty popular or rather well known.” It wasn't as if they were going to find a throng of fans outside his home. As they approached though there was a large disturbance in the lake. A sprout of water raised up and crashed down on the ground leaving a large Water Elemental present. Water flowed up from the lake dosing it and the area in additional water seeing that it was rather limited on land but could get to the front of the house if necessary.
It had not advance though but turned towards them as if it were. The thing was large, easily twice her size and width. Then someone said something in a bubbly tone and the Elemental returned to the lake sinking into it as the trio could see a man emerge from the side of the house where he was obscured.
He had stark blue eyes and green hair. He was wearing a simple tunic and sandals that showed his toes as well as his hands were webbed. At his hip there was a dagger though in his hand he was holding a spade.
“Greetings. You are not Fae. Well, you two are not. What brings you – my word!” His eyes lit up in recognition as he finally got a good look at Flame. “Do not tell me that something has happened to Abdul.”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
If Cain had a cure for the spell upon her memory, not a day in history could be more fortunate safe for encountering Nicodemus for the first time, but then again Flame hardly recalled enough pleasantries to draw upon anything of comparable nature. In truth she did not get her hopes up. It was a matter of patience, of course, and if nothing in the world could help her recover those twenty years, well, as an Immortal Flame simply had to get them back through exploring the same things all over again.
They embarked with the aid of the Teleportation Circles and Flame decided to leave most of their dealings to the other two. She felt like a child amid an enormous hub of travellers and vessels ready to embark on their journey and followed the two along as though they were her parents for what other choice did Flame have? Someday the sorceress might have the chance to explore matters more than today although their travels relayed that it had to be a network of gateways that must have spread all throughout the kingdom people kept talking about.
Ultimately, however, the wound up in their destination. Cain and his home resided among one of the more serene areas Flame had seen in her lifetime, possibly the most pleasant given the lack of commotion from Faerie Dragons and Pixies although it did not quite match up to that singular experience she and Nicodemus shared on that lonesome shore he brought her to just once.
Somehow that surge of water had her jolt back in shock. She was surprised to find something emerge from the lake, turning in their direction without advancing on them just yet although its appearance had the sorceress stop dead in her tracks given its incredible size.
Dealing with Elementals wasn't her strong suit and each Element likely required another language to communicate with the magically conjured creatures. This one must have served as some sort of guardian, but thankfully they had the pleasure of meeting the Master of the house who disposed of his watchful servant easily enough before tending to the three visitors.
Flame promptly raised her hands before her in a frantic gesture, trying to calm the man before her and allow for his hasty assumptions to evaporate as quickly as he had given them the spark of life upon their arrival. "Oh, no, no, no. Abdul is alive and well, I assure you. No, my father has nothing to do with my presence here today. I came of my own volition, for my own reasons though I hope I'm not interrupting anything important."
Crimson eyes briefly dipped to that shovel in his hand before setting back on him, a hand of hers carefully reaching out to take his before Flame decided otherwise and bowed instead, uncertain as to how they managed their little get togethers in the past.
"You must be .. Cain?" Sadly the fiery sorceress did not even know that for certain. At the moment her mind had taken him for a servant wandering around on the outskirts of the house, fulfilling his duties no doubt although their brief interaction with the Water Elemental and the concern of Abdul had the young woman think otherwise. If he truly happened to be Cain, clearly something had happened to the living construct who spent a great deal of time in his home, at least enough to make him remember instantly.
She glanced back to the Dwarf and Fae with which the voluptuous lady arrived, uncertain if asking them along or even having them around him would complicate matters though introductions most certainly were in order. "May I introduce my companions?"
A fleeting gesture was bestowed unto the sturdy Dwarf first. "Roc has saved my life on several occasions and has been by my side for a while now. I entrusted him with my true nature as well as the charming Fae by my side. Brie has had the courtesy of leading us to your home. She and her brother Tucker have been very kind to us although Tucker is currently on Auran for the sake of our business on Brindel, but I'm sure there's another time and place for such matters."
She paused, quite bothered by her loss of memory, especially in front of someone who aided Abdul in her creation. "My .. memories have been suppressed .. and I've come to speak to Cain about a few personal matters not even Abdul likely has an answer to. May we come inside?"
Whether they had someplace around the house to reside thanks to the sunny day or if they would be more comfortable inside, Flame could not tell, but she hoped Cain would be helpful in her search for a few answers.

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
“My apologies if the Elemental worried you though it cannot stray far from the water and is good at getting those pesky salesmen from approaching the house … well this one any way. The other is not too accessible,” he pointed to the calm lake though the Elemental was not restricted beneath the water.
It seemed that this home had been used for meeting with air breathers since most could not get to his real home beneath the water. “I am not too busy. Nothing that couldn't wait. And yes, I am Cain. I remember you when you were this tall.”
His hand indicated her height as it was now indicating that he was having a little joke. He smiled at her then looked to the others as they were introduced.
“THE Roc?” Brie seemed to be surprised by this. The Elemental masters were well known among the Fae considering that they were so involved in magic. Even Cain knew of the name as he appraised the Dwarf.
“Yes, that one.”
“Well met.” Cain did not take Flame's hand but he did bow to all three in turn. “It is great that Abdul has not met with misfortune but a loss of memory ...” He rubbed his chin as if considering for a moment.
“Ah, were are my manners. Come.” He led them inside setting the spade down on an end table just outside the foyer. The house was far bigger on the inside than on the outside and the floor was made of steel with a spell cast upon it. Glass Steal … it made a metal transparent and they were looking straight into an underground river that feed into the lake and could see numerous fish swimming along.
“Can I get you something to drink? Wine?” Brie accepted, Roc did not preferring the taste of stronger beverages. After fixing drinks, of which Cain had one, he turned his attention back to the living room where there were numerous sofas and chairs of the comfortable sort where he probably entertained guests.
“Now what have you traveled her about? Your lack of memories I would guess but is there anything specific?”

Re: Blue Shrine (for Ryu)
"I'm afraid I haven't quite mastered the art of growing just yet." Flame flashed a smile at the thought of her perpetual appearance. It was amusing to say the least although Brie seemed to divert her attention to Roc for the moment rather than the human looking construct as his true identity had been disclosed to everyone in their presence, not that it mattered too much considering that the Fae amassed a fair measure of trust by now and Cain happened to be a close friend of sorts, one Flame could not remember.
It seemed best not to dwell on having to free Abdul from the Shadow of Nod lest Cain might have actually worried to an even greater degree in spite of the fact that the Efreeti walked free once more.
With a nod she followed Cain inside, but needless to say nothing invoked even the slightest sliver of familiarity within her. They might very well enter a stranger's home and Flame would be none the wiser although the dimensions were off and the floor had a most interesting effect, surely things one would remember for a long time to come. Flame glanced into the river below and nearly winced as one realisation struck after another. Thankfully they hardly resided high enough for Flame to seriously worry about heights although her lack of knowledge on Glass Steel had her take cautious steps initially only to venture on normally as everyone else seemed to do the same.
"No wine for me, thank you, but I'd have a glass of water or juice if you would be kind enough to pour me some." Selecting something fairly tame seemed equally wise as it happened to be reasonable thanks to which carnal pleasantries Flame and Nicodemus indulged in not too long ago hence the nubile red haired sorceress pursued the most prudent course of action in order to ensure their child or children, depending on how blessed their most recent union truly was, developed into perfectly healthy offspring. They might not have had any success in the first place, but the young woman sought to set a mature foundation for her distant dreams of motherhood by choosing at least her own drinks slightly more carefully which, albeit sadly, entailed fully refraining from consuming alcohol.
She mulled over the matter in the back of her head for a short while, pondering on what exactly to ask first although amongst the questions Flame had, only a select few towered above all else and once Cain returned, the voluptuous maiden rose from her seat and aided their host in passing out those beverages. "Thank you, Cain .. You are most kind. Allow me to help you with this."
It was done in a manner of seconds, but in their closeness Flame could not resist the urge to whisper a demand of hers, more precisely a request for how many people should really know what delicate information the Elemental Mistress was about to coax from the man. Of course she could ask about him, his wife, anything to gather upon lost knowledge, but something else had been far more prevalent than renewed introductions to the Priest. "Could we speak alone for a minute or two? Some rather delicate matters I'd like to discuss in private, not out in the open for everyone else to hear. I'm sure you understand."
Slithering back into kitchen upon announcing that the two of them wouldn't be long, there was no denying the faintest of blushes upon her peachy cheeks as Flame turned to address Cain, struggling with a more or less modest intonation as embarrassment pulsed through her veins at the mere thought of having to converse about anything along those lines with a second party. She was fidgetting with her hands, hardly able to maintain eye contact and yet the matter proved greatly important to her.
"You've imbued my body with countless characteristics I'm not precisely privy to and .. well .. I've come to wonder about the gift of life you've given me." She swallowed hard, flushing even harder with every waking moment. "I have .. questions .. Some more pressing than others, but I .. Um .. Well, there's one .. I .. don't really know how to put it lightly .. for a Priest, in particular, but .. Um .. If I wanted to .. create my own legacy like my father has done with me, but in a more .. human fashion .. How compatible am I to other species and what odds are we speaking of, exactly?"
Abdul relayed that the odds of giving rise to a successful pregnancy had been less likely than that of a fully fledged human and Flame wondered how much of it was true and to which extent his explanations proved accurate. "Which species would my children be? Would they all turn out to be Half Breeds?"
