Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
At first his attention had been on the animals, but then it turned to her. The edges of his mouth curled up in a smile that made the butterflies in her stomach flutter nervously. It was as if she had forgotten the god-sculpted features of her king. Those piercing violet eyes that never failed to make her, or any woman in fact, blush and stutter.
And his hands, his strong, warm hands as they seized her hips, pulling her body closer to his. Those hands that fit perfectly into the curve of her waist made her shiver.
And as they kissed, a heavenly warmth flooded through her core. This feeling Alynia was positive only he could give her. He tasted sweet, maybe a wine he had recently drank, and he smelled like fresh pine.
In the back of her she hoped he liked the dress she was wearing... Alynia had no intention of trying to sway his thoughts. Really she just wanted to please him.
As Alynia reminded herself of how she loved everything about him the weight of her guilt was consuming her. She was trying not to cry for the moment could have been so perfect if it hadn’t been for her disgrace. She buried her face into soft fabric of his shirt, letting him hold her there as she was on the verge of tears.
Alynia didn’t want him to see her cry because she did not want his sympathy. She knew she did wrong, and this feeling of shame would be with her if he forgave her out of pity.
But it was all too easy for him to spot that there was something amiss, but he gave no hints at what he thought might be the problem. She pulled away slightly, just enough to see him, as Oberron gently asked what was wrong.
Alynia pressed her lips together, the crystal tears threatening to fall from the rims of her brown eyes. She couldn’t meet his gaze, she didn’t know where to begin.
“I’ve made a mistake. "She told him quietly. "I've been keeping secrets from you… And I know that was wrong.” Alynia took a moment to take in a breath, using all of her might not to cry, not now. Word spilled clumsily from her lips, it was all to obvious that she was still searching for what to say. “But things got out of hand… and I’m afraid because I never knew what it meant… I don’t know if it is too late to tell you that I... that I was engaged before I married you.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
With her approach he had willed the animals away for he was entirely in control o the illusions here. Still, Oberron did not wish them to be in the way as he showered affection on her. Now what he had expected was a report on her findings though he had clues that there was something else wrong … something she felt was serious.
Oberron was not only perceptive as that went hand and hand with being a good king but he also knew her quiet well that had him considering what was troubling the mind of his wife.
He could feel it in the way that she trembled slightly. The tears that clung to her eyes refusing to fall had told him that she was guilty or felt guilty of something and he, knowing her as he had, suspected that she had cheated on him with another fey.
No not in the sense of her going out of her way and looking mind you for Oberron had been left with no doubts that she was well satisfied. She was his queen and he doted upon her as if she were just that in more than name at times. The other fey had known how smitten he was with her and there had been several attempts to draw him out by using Aly as bait, a sure fire way to get his wrath and attention was doing something to his beloved.
What he had thought was that perhaps someone had slipped her some Aiwha, things were done and said, perhaps she was rattled about the ordeal with the goblins which made the most sense to him seeing that she had just returned from them.
He gazed at her searching for more clues as he remained close, his hands settling on her hips realizing that whatever it was that rattled her she would need his confidence and assurance to get it out.
He had asked her what the matter was for if there was Aiwha involved at a banquet he had retired from earlier or if it were drunk during some stately business, well he could wave that off easier than if she had intentionally went sneaking behind his back, especially when he gave up all others. Another reason why he knew she was thoroughly satisfied an amused portion of his brain would have added under less serious conditions.
Secrets Here it was. He remained impassive for now allowing her to come out with the matter, his violet eyes watching her though it was not a good sign that she could not meet his gaze.
“Continue.” That was all that he said to her as he watched her for a long moment. When she continued though he went silent as every though this time he retracted his hands from her hips and instead placed one beneath her chin lifting her gaze as a boom of thunder rumbled somewhere in the distance.
Oberron forced her to gaze into his violet eyes as he peered at her. “You broke a promise?” His words scarier in that he had not raised his voice but said his words with deliberate emphasis. He awaited her response to the question though her King proved that he had a good ear too.
“You said secrets. What is the other Alynia? Or is there more than one?” Not Aly as he usually referred to her but Alynia. It was as if he was scolding a child with that calling out the full name, really who used middle names outside of legal documents. Outside she could hear that it was beginning to rain.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
His hands left her hips as her words sunk in. Alynia wiped her eyes, feeling very ashamed. Oberron lifted her chin, forcing those eyes brimming with tears that refused to fall to look into his. God, those perfect pools of violet.
Alynia whimpered, but she couldn't have looked away if she wanted to. She could not tear her meek expression away from that mesmerizing glare... The words that came from his lips shattered her heart in two.
Slow, quiet, and oh so dangerous were those four words. She probably would've felt more at ease if be just yelled at her, though Alynia wasn't yet sure if that would come later.
Had she broken a promise? Alynia had never been clarified whether or not an engagement or a marriage at all was a promise. But his expression his tone made it seem so clear.
Alynia wrapped her arms around herself unsure whether or not it was wise to continue. What could she say? The long moment of silence was testing to her, and every second that passed only made her more strained.
"Yes." She responded, her voice barely audible as she turned her head away with guilt.
It was obvious Oberron wanted her to continue, no matter if he would hate the words he heard.
"T-there's more." She stuttered, tears began to roll silently down her cheeks as she shifted from leg to leg. Alynia wiped her tears away quickly, not wanting to have an easy way out by evoking sympathy out of his kind heart.
"I-Ian." She started carefully. Her eyes trained upon the soft grass they were standing on. "That was my old fiancé... He's here.. I don't know how and I don't know why.."
It was difficult for her to speak, but she pressed through. Her gaze shifted occasionally from the ground to her husband but Alynia was finding it difficult not to try and hide her features from him.
"He forced me to d-drink Aiwha... I didnt know what to do!"
She was crying now, there was no way to stop it. Alynia felt like a child, embarrassed and ashamed.
"He forced me to promise him... t-that.. We wouldn't renew o-our vows -n-ext season.." She choked out. "And that I-I would M-marry him instead..."
Tears dripped down her cheeks for there were too many to wipe away. "A-and then he...." Alynia couldn't continue recalling what she had been through, hopefully Oberron was able to assume.
"I'm so sorry.." She sobbed quietly though it would be amazing if that was enough. "I didnt m-mean a w-word I said to him.. Oh god, you have to b-believe that I wasn't t-thinking."

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
He seemed so impassive though the hint of a storm brewing on the horizon had been enough to tell her that there was some inner turmoil. Soon came the rain, the down pour that she could hear upon the roof as thick globes of water cascaded down.
There ecame a sudden rain, an electrical storm that drenched the area with Oberron's sorrow though before her he had seemed rather impassive as his violet eyes did not brake away from her brown tearful ones as he listened and drew in what she had to say.
His sorrow had been evident though the lightning was not booming to the point where he was enraged at her, or perhaps he was but holding that until everything ha been laid out before him.
An engagement was a promise to be wed at a specified point in the future. Humans were fickle in that they often broke such arrangements. Things happened, feelings changed, both had been irrelevant in fey culture. A promise made was one that had to be kept as were deals and bargains to a lesser extent though these could be fraught with lies an twists as long as the letter of the deal was held. The Unseelie were so use to twisting things, however, that often a fey good be goaded into honoring the spirit of the arrangement to prove that they were different.
He waited for her to continue though, the same impassive look on his features as he considered what she had to say to him. She looked away had he ha been forced to jerk her tearful face back always watching her eyes as if his very soul was burrowing itself into her there.
Oberron considered the last of it and made sure that it was all that she had left to say. It was still raining but the rain had let up a good deal. He ensured here was nothing else and he stared at her running through the exact words of the promise arrangement and working out all that they had arranged.
Oberron went silent for a moment and asked her a question. When had she been engaged. To some it might have appeared that he was reasoning how long he had been lied to but it was an important question. His hand settling down upon her shoulder the other beneath her chin to keep her chin up so that he could watch her eyes.
“So you promised to marry Ian before me. What was the deadline and condition of this marriage? After a set time?”
Again he took in her answers. He analyzed these.
“After graduation, well you have not graduated yet so the condition has not come to pass. You could drop out on your final day as distasteful as that would be, the condition never comes to pass.
“The promise predates that in which you were Queen of the Fey. And while you have not graduated you have not broken the promise. It was made prior to promises having a greater importance in day to day life so you are free to do as humans do in regards to it. I do not particularly like it but no one will hold it against you thought that might collar them making future promises with you.”
Oberron addressed this simply. “But it will not be a broken promise. You must trust me on this, Aly. I am going to show you how mischievous fey can be with their deals and while making a promise under the effects of Aiwha is no different then others to avoid all the excuses that would be made to get out of one you entered into the promise as Queen of the Fey, not as human so by all rights you can follow our rules with these dealings an Ian wasn't careful in his dealings.” He chuckled. It was still raining though that had been more about the inferred news about Ian and her. He seized her by her hips sweeping her up into one of his intoxicating kisses that would leave her weak kneed.
“Don't worry about this promise. It is a small thin, Aly.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Alynia nodded meekly as he pointed out the vagueness of her original engagement... But what about the nonsense she spewed? The promise her and Oberron were not to renew their vows? How could it all be resolved so easily?
His gaze was trained steadily on her eyes watching her reactions, her expressions.
She was quiet as Oberron explained his logic. "I guess you're right.." Alynia admitted through her tears. "But..." Her voice trailed off.
She was still uncertain even when Oberron drew her closer and pressed his lips against hers. Alynia's eyes fluttered shut with bliss as his tounge swept breifly against hers. She felt weak and light headed from such a display of passion.
He didnt seem mad, but then again she could hear the down pour outside the castle walls. Surely he still felt uneasy about something.
She was incredibly confused, and her confusion brought worry. "Please believe me when I say I am only yours." Alynia voiced quietly wiping her tears once more. "Everything that I told Ian at that time... It was only because of the wine. I cant help but be close to powerless against Aiwha."
Alynia could still barely believe it. He wasnt mad? He wasn't yelling? It was possible he was very upset... But she wasnt even sure of that.
"Y-you aren't going to throw me in jail? Sell me away? Give me to the Marquis for a month? Sentence me to death? Toss me into a heard of satyrs?" Alynia, while travelling, had plenty of time to contemplate the punishment she was to recieve. After so long convincing herself of the worst she was shocked at his response.
"It's not that I want you to be angry..." She was blushing again. "But I don't understand how this can be a small thing."
Alynia was fidgetting under the weight of guilt. She had been thinking, if she was punished perhaps it would take this load off of her chest. How else could she convince him how much she regretted what happened?
Alynia didn't understand it. She was crying again. "Oberron, you are too good to me." And truthfully Alynia didn't feel like she deserved such kindness from him.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
He could see that in her eyes she did not comprehend everything that he had stated. This was not so troubling to fix and he had relaxed somewhat. He still wasn't in the best of moods though as he recounted what she had told him but this was easier to work with then he would have thought though the matter was a simple fix for the King of the fey. Well, Aly might not think it was a clever fix but she would have to live with the decision.
She was still uncertain, he could see her doubts still clinging there, Even after his lips press against her own those concerns are still there locked away behind her eyes.
The but's were dismissed by him easily enough. He did not seem concerned now though with her revelations even though she still had been shaken up bu these things. For a moment he had wondered if he should share his revelations with her or just surprise her later.
“Aly, I know already,” he smiled at her as he said just that. “Believe me I know. I am unconcerned about remarks made under the influence from you. Fey law makes no distinction about promises made under Aiwha to thwart those from making excuses and making a mess of things of course.”
“Jail? Maybe if you wish to play a little. Sell you? No one would be able to afford you. Give you to the Marquis for a month? That seems to punish me more with your absence. Sentence you to death? I would only be killing myself. Toss you to a herd of satyrs? I hate satyrs. Even well before I warned you about Phebes I've hated them so no, I would not do that either.”
He smiled amuse with some of those possibilities.
As evident of the storm outside she had the right to be confused. He was not happy but not upset either. A little down but not by much. Had the promise she broke been one, even a minor one after she was Queen then there would have been a huge deal. But it wasn't and the other promise, well that was a small thing though it was still raining on account that he did not fully like the solution but it was the best fix that his fey mind.
He lead her to a sitting position in that meadow. “OK, I will let you in on a few things. To keep your promise you have to marry Ian. If you brake it, well, that would be bad. So you will keep the promise. In this way you keep the earlier promise that was made before you were Queen. But did he specify how this wedding was to occur? A human wedding? A goblin one,” he chuckled at that then shook his head. “A small joke, goblins do not marry as far as anyone knows, a question for Mezzo.
“I will not answer all your questions, that is no fun. I enjoy you figuring out those answers for yourself. So for the winter season we are not to be wed and you and Ian – well …. a fey wedding is as good as any other correct? And those well,” he paused waiting for her to draw those conclusions for herself.
“Also, did Ian make mention of us never being married again?” Oberron answered a few things, while leaving others vague. Of course there may be something that didn't sit quiet well with her but he was already scheming on that.
His violet eyes dashed to her as he let that all sink in.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
The illusionary sky above then was darker now. Was it because time had passed? Or was it because Oberron willed it? It was certainly still light enough to see. Though the sun had dipped below the horizon, the twilight lit sky made it easy for her to see his smile, and him to see her concern.
Alynia blushed harder at every possibility her husband simply swept aside... "So... you're not going to punish me?" She whispered carefully. Alynia was unsure what was going through her husbands mind, he was so difficult to read at times. But it warmed her heart just a bit to see he was at least amused by the punishments she had come up with.
Still she couldn't help but be confused by his reaction... Part of her felt relieved but most of her was in a state of bewilderment.
Oberron took her hand and lead her besides a tree to sit down. She rested against the rough bark, which felt so real even though she knew it wasn't. Her head tilted up hopefully, waiting for Oberron to sit down besides her. A brief moment of relaxation, allowing Alynia to try and organize her thoughts. Her fingers played with the hemline of her dress as a quiet sigh fluttered from her lips.
Her gaze fell a bit down cast as her king continued to speak. So she'd have to marry Ian after all... "I-I don't believe he specified what sort of wedding." She answered uncertainly. Of course, it was easy to conclude Ian had assumed a human wedding... but Alynia was beginning to catch on that if such an assumtion was not explicitly stated then she had no obligation to follow it.
"A fey-wedding only lasts for a season." Alynia finished for Oberron wondering if this is what he meant. "And I don't believe he stated we couldn't remarry." This bit of information lifted some strain from her chest, though her expression looked worried again.
From what she could understand, Oberron intended for Alynia and Ian to wed for just a season. The duration of a fey marriage before she would simply return to him. Though the idea was simple, Alynia wasn't too sure if Ian would even fall for such a trick.
She shook her head, "Oberron, I can't.. I c-couldn't stay with him for an entire season!" Alynia stuttered, her face had gone pale at the thought. "He'd kill me. Or worse... I'd be that demon's slave! He's make me have his child!"
An even worse thought dawned upon the queen. "Ian would use me against you... He mentioned it. He wants to kill you as much as he wants to own me." She paused to draw a breath. "That's why he didnt mention anything about us remarrying, he thinks you'll be dead before we have the chance."
Her sad eyes met with his briefly, and she leaned over to press her lips against his gently. The soft kiss lasted only a second. "Y-you can't let that happen to you.." Alynia muttered. "I-I would never be able to forgive myself if Ian got to you."
She shifted closer toward him, daring to rest her head on his strong shoulder. Alynia still felt this entire mess was her fault and she was still grasping around in the dark for answers. For a solution to her own grief as well as the problem she had ultimately created.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
The sky had darkened here out of a mixture of both effects. When she had arrived it was sunset and while he had not been angry he was not in the best of moods either though this had not been directed at her. Rather this Ian character though his fey mind was already working though matters.
“Are you looking to be punished, Aly?” He raised a brow with a smirk then drew her closer into his arms. He shook his head slightly. “You're in the clear unless you want to be punished but really this is not your fault other than being so damn attractive.
“The promise broken was made while you did not represent a people, an it not yet broken as the conditions for it have yet to pass.”
But he sat next to her as he led her away to the illusionary trees. He watched her playing with the dress and he made the comment that he like that particular dress on her, he also liked it off her too though now was not the time to be lewd.
She was beginning to see it take shape in front of her, Ian didn't specify, she was Queen of the Fey and outranked him, she might be human but by default it was to be a fey wedding unless she renounced that state.
Ian never said that they couldn't remarry either so it was a simple solution as far as Oberron had been concerned. Her marriage to Ian fulfilled her earlier promise that she made as a human and the one now. It was a fey marriage and as such they could brake up with the end of a single season if not renewed and Ian, showing his inexperience since he obviously did not know these things.
After the season they would be remarried of course. But the Queen was still missing a piece of the puzzle here for she had not seemed to be comforted by this knowledge as he regarded his Queen.
But Oberron was calm about her objection. “Was it agreed that you would live together? Some fey who are married live leagues apart for a century or two. When you are immortal it's rare to find yourself always wanting to be with someone. You live forever barring a violent end so this is fairly common with older fey.”
He sighed stroking her hair absently as he peered into her visage. “And ruin that gorgeous body with a child, a non fey birth, I'm told those hurt. It will not happen. Though Mead is the cheapest way there are other magics … but he won't have that chance. He has gotten his fill, if he hasn't had enough then too bad.
“Do you realize how many people wish to kill me? Ian can get in line. I believe there are far greater threats but he will be no more successful than the others. Even if he does manage to strike me down by some fluke I will merely reform on Avalon. I am tough to eliminate.”
He was all grins after her kiss though as she moved close.
“It won't happen. No more than I would toss you to the devil. You have figured out most of it and what you haven't are my personal thoughts. I will need Mezzo's help I think but Ian has marked himself by attacking my Queen. He will be captured in short order and while you will be married to him he will be spending that season and many others in the dungeon. You could visit him an gloat. The only thing is ...”
Oberron fell silent for a moment as he considered. “We can't be together for that season. Extra maritial affairs are alright but loving the person you have them with is a no no. But ...”
Oberron paused as he considered something. That would cost him a few favors and there was no guarantee there. It might be best just to wait out the three months.
“If you hated me or did not have such feelings of immense love than it would be alright.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
As he probably expected, his words brought a brilliant blush upon her features. Alynia pouted but she did not fight back as he pulled her closer to him. "N-no!" She stuttered, though she paused to give it some thought. Perhaps a punishment would be good for her at this point. Relieve some of the guilt, bring the two of them closer together... She didn't have time to voice such embarressing musings before Oberron spoke again.
At such a brazen compliment she bit her lip. After all these years, these teases left her flustered. "You're not so terrible looking yourself." She commented, a timid but evident glint in her eye. Alynia couldn't help but let out a small giggle. Her laugh sounded like the tinkling of bells.
She was relaxing, calming down. The more she inderstood the better she felt. The logic was making sense, how she hadn't really broken a promise yet. As long as such an agreement was carried out eventually, her slate would be clean.
"I was hoping you'd like it." She responded earnestly to his words about her lemon colored dress. "You do like bright colors on me. And you know I aim to please you when I can."
"Well, Ian never mentioned that either... I guess he believed it was all implied." It was painful for her to recall too many specific memories from that night, but Alynia was confident that no living arrangements had been made between her and Ian.
"S-stop that.." She stuttered blushing again, "with all these compliments.." As her husband had snuck the one about her body while actually speaking of a pressing issue.
"Ian has gotten far more than his intended fill." She agreed rather bitterly... Alynia was thinking to herself, maybe another trip to Avalon. A shorter one. Only a week or a few days... to regenerate. Ian had been very rough with the poor girl down there... It was silly, but Alynia felt strongly about keeping herself in order for her husband. She decided she would mention it to Oberron another time.
She leaned herself against him. His regal confidence was sexy, by at the same time Alynia couldn't help but be a bit concerned. Oberron was strong... But she needed some help with defending against her fiancé. It's not hard to tell that she was her king's weakness. Perhaps magic lessons again... And fencing... She had gotten adequate at the two but compared to Ian she was still no competition.
She was happy to hear that Oberron had some sort of plan to capture Ian. Alynia shook her head. "I don't ever want to see him again. Even if it was to gloat."
But she frowned in confusion as his explaination. "You know that can't possibly be true!" Alynia exclaimed. "I love you. And I'm certainly not going to lie about that." She stated determined, kissing him hard as if to emphasize her point.
Alynia let out a puff of air, angry at Ian all over again though this time for less severe reasons. "D-does that mean no sex until that season is over?"

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Good. Now that that was settled they could get over the fact that she was trying to get punished or that's what it looked like on the surface of things. He grinned at her blush, her professed 'no' and while he could have teased her or even punished her in a whole array of matters he had not. He could have feigned anger and punished her but this was bothering her and so he had sought to correct that problem.
It was good that she was able to find mirth in this as he sought to draw her back from the very edge of despair that she had been. He grinned a bit. “Oh, I know, Aly,” he was trying to sound conceited but all fey were comely so at the same time he was acting conceited he was letting her know that it was an obvious statement too though by the mirth on his face, the way his violet eyes twinkled he knew what she had actually meant.
She seemed to be relaxing enough as she makes mention of the dress. On eight out of ten days yellow was his favorite color, the other two seemed fairly random. He liked silver but not on her. Yellow, greens and blues for the most part appealed to him. She could fill out a dress and there was far to often that he had her outside of one but that was neither her nor there. He did not comment on that fact just yet though.
“I know you aim to please. You have yet to disappoint me, even know, Aly.” He wasn't looking forward to the next three months though he had some ideas that he could use at the right time.
“There is a small window. At midnight at the end of the season we will not be wed unless we renew our vows before then as you are aware. At one past the hour you will stop being Queen. But until that point you still have all the privileges of your station. Jumping over a broom does not take much time. Hell, if Ian refuses I'll throw him over it … well that won't make the marriage valid but I have other methods.
“The living arrangements are settled then. You can go back to your Shadow for a season, come to think of it you can't live at the castle or you can live elsewhere … there was that cave Mezzo was living at when we found him.” He joked. “As long as it's not the castle it should be fine. Ian can live in the dungeon. I guess if you like to renew the marriage ...” he teased.
“Too much?” He grinned as she wanted him to desist wit the compliments, that was as likely as he not having any dirty thoughts for an hour. It just wasn't going to happen.
“Oh, you need not see him. There are the Calling Stones or we could set up a one way device where he hears you but can't respond so we have options there my dear.”
He looked at her as if he were shocked by her words. “No sex at all for a season? That would be a rather though order. Given customs and all you'd be free to dally with whom ever you choose unless you love them. I'm assuming that I'm going to be in that category but I have already thought of a few things. If you do not remember you love me, or if you hate me, well that would be acceptable. I have thought over both and considered just as I have considered braking that rule. It's not a stigma, though an understanding.
“It's more the fact that something isn't considered cheating unless there is love involved so if you could live with the fact that you'd be having an affair on Ian … though I suppose any little twist I do will just be construed as you cheating on him unless they become common knowledge.”

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Whenever Oberron grinned like that, Alynia feared that he was reading her mind. He's assured her before that he couldn't... But there had always been a suspicion. She looked away glancing now at the sky above them, just in case he read her thoughts by looking into her eyes.
She rolled her eyes at his cockiness. It never worked when Alynia tried to tease him back. But she leaned in closer nipping at one of his long ears playfully. "Arrogant." She declared but the thought that he was rightfully so was kept to herself.
She let out a blissful puff of air, relishing the words coming Oberron's lips, how he was even pleasee with her in such circumstances. He was so kind. So faithful, he had her practically purring using that silver tounge of his alone. She hummed quietly with content. Though of course, Alynia could clearly recall other ways that tounge made her purr.
Alynia could not resist as she kissed him gently on the cheek, showing how much she appreciated those words. "Too good. You're too good to be true." She whispered with a sigh.
"How long do we have until the season ends again?" She murmured trailing innocent kisses on his neck. Alynia could not stop herself from worshiping him, even after receiving his forgivness. "So I may take advantage of these so said privileges while I am still married to you in title."
There was a pause in her movements as he continued to speak. She leaned back looking at Oberron with a particular expression. "Back to my Shadow?" Alynia repeated what she heard. Though it made sense, such an arrangement took her by surprise.
"There's nothing wrong with it.." She quickly added, "I just didnt believe I was ever going back to that place." Alynia gave a half hearted laugh. "And perhaps more convinient than Mezzo's cave dwelling."
"Oh, you're very funny." She remarked sarcastically, to be honest she was even dreading this unofficial, one season marriage with the hopefully soon to be imprisoned Ian. Just the idea of keeping him around to remarry was absurd. "Not in the castle. After this marriage, banished if you don't mind." Alynia stated for she was too gentle-hearted to sentence even her most hated enemies to death
She sighed, lacing her fingers into Oberron's. "I like your compliments." Alynia admitted timidly, though she was fully aware he already knew this too well, that's the reason he kept giving them to her. "But I dislike being left flustered and speechless. I never know how to respond to any of them."
She scoffed. "You know fully well I won't be dallying with anyone. Especially if you send me back to my Shadow. It was an all girl's school. I don't think I've ever had an attraction to females, and a don't think that's going to change." She tapped her free hand on her chin as if hard in thought. "Thought I believe our headmaster might be male. Perhaps I'll seduce him to satisfy myself." She joked. Such an idea was preposterous. Besides she had never even seen the principal, it could be a girl for all she knew.
"But what about you?" She wondered with a much more serious expression. "Nixies and nymphs will be lining up after you are single. Especially after I've kept you to myself for so long." Alynia bit her lip at the thought. "Will you...?" She wasn't sure how to complete the statement.
There was a silence from her. "You know if you want to... It'd be alright. I'd have no right to stop you from bedding anyone else... as long as you don't love them." Alynia could not help but sound kind of sad at the thought.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
She was right to suspect that her husband could read her mind. While he easy very perceptive it was due in a way that Aegir could see her thoughts though that had translated to Oberron being perceptive though Oberron could be “surprised” from time to time with her thoughts Aegir would never be, this was just a persona that he was controlling after all for her sake so when she looked away refraining from eye contact he was amused seeing that he didn't need to make such contact with her eyes in order to see what was on her mind.
“Just a little arrogant, Aly.” Though she had grounded him in a sense. Oberron would be far worse. Not only would more of his temper shine through but there would be that violent and pompous though not to the point that Puck had reached.
He had relaxed her with his words, which of course he had sought. He wanted to let her know that this was a small thing and that their marriage would only be interrupted for a short time. Aegir had considered letting Alynia serve out a season of schooling before bringing her back to Llynoria to give her something to look forward too.
But he did not wish to wait that long himself and would draw her back … maybe not to Llynoria but he had a scenario with Olympus cast in his mind that could lead in to a return to Llynoria, one in which she might enjoy though time would tell there. One scenario lead into the next though, and perhaps he would wait until he could not tolerate being without her company to draw her back, it was something that the telepath considered.
“Five weeks,” Oberron answered her question though he enjoyed where her mind was going at this stage. The warmth of her lips against his cheek had been sublime and he delighted in the closeness that they now shared.
He nodded though. “Yes, it is perhaps safer than Mezzo's cave, especially if the goblins find out you are there. You can deal with goblins in fair numbers now but they don't fight fair as you know and Pog's goblins are full of tricks.
Oberron considered for a moment. “Carrion. The Shadow is one huge prison, though the goblins have access to it and can get him back eventually if they have the desire to do so and know that he is there. There are several continents, three there, that can make it difficult for them to find him at first. The dwarfs have a means of accessing it. Though I can consider something far more permanent too, such as Hades … Hades enjoys collecting powerful souls though he is alive so special considerations would have to be made in his case.”
Looking at their interlaced hands the King of the Fey grinned as he lifted his gaze up to meet her brown eyes. He patted the back of her hand and smiled. “You need not say anything. I know, you are such an easy read at times. You do not need ever to say anything.
“An all girl's school, you don't say,” he grinned at that full well knowing she was not really that interested in girls from her brief exposure with the nixies not that he had minded that for he had no intentions of sharing her with anyone, male or female. Of course if she did so now or then it would not matter provided that there was no love involved.
He shook his head. “I will go to Avalon, less distractions there and generate an illusion of you though it will not be as pleasant as you are of course, a pale substitute at best. Such a prolonged illusion for months is beyond you and anything I generate would be an automaton … maybe a golem with your personality,” he joked. “You can help me build it though five weeks is a bit cramped to do it in especially with a few spells I would need to research. I suppose I will just have to make due. Of course that will probably mean exhausting you each night until such a time."
He grinned at her. Though he had considered her words as he looked at her. “After experiencing heaven everything else is hell by comparison. I have no intention, and it is only a season, not long at all for fey or so I would have once thought,” he set a hand upon her hip rubbing her flank as he laid her down, shifting over her prone form, his lips seeking hers out once more.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
She pushed him playfully。”Alittle?” She questioned with disbelief。“I suppose it has been some time since you‘ve heard yourself speak。“ she teased。 Alynia was laughing now。Her head canted back slightly as her gentle laughter rang out into what appeared to be the vast open sky。A beautiful water color of violets, pinks, organges, and midnight blue was casted into the illusion above。And she was quiet for a minute just to admire the stillness before turning back to her doting husband。The glowing final moments of the dying sun radiated upon his features。Alynia wondered if it was possible she looked as lovely as him。His violet eyes shined like fire, and in that moment he had succeeded in stealing her breath away once more。
The corner of her lips turned upward into a weary smile。Just like that, Oberron believed he could solve all of her problems。Create a carefree if not perfect world for her to live in, all simply because he wanted to, because he loved her。Powerful didn’t even begin to desbribe his ability to mold this utopia for her。The words kept running through her mind, that this was just purely too good to be true。
It was a reoccuring thought that had started whilst she had been in Avalon。 It came to her as she had been lying in bed besides a very naked Oberron。The silk sheets thrown over them for warmth they didn‘t need, the breeze coming from the wall high windows across the spacious room。He had been asleep but his wife had stayed up with thoughts。Resting on his broad and muscular chest after a passionate night of love making。 It was in that single moment she had wondered whether it all could be a dream。That one day, she would just wake up and everything she loved so dearly could just evaporate from her grasp。The life she lived was just too perfect to be real, but she had decided that if it was a dream Alynia never wanted to wake from it。And surely Aegir knew this too。
Her lips were as soft as flower petals as she kissed the tip of his ear。 Their hands entertwined in her lap。”Five weeks?” Alynia murmured quietly as if speaking too loudly would shatter the moment。 Her lips travelled smoothly from his jaw to his neck where she nibbled affectionately。Worshipping his flawless skin, because words weren’t strong enough to say how much she loved him。
She pulled away giving him a pout as Oberron began joking about illusions and golemns。Though,to be honest Alynia wasn‘t too sure if he was joking about the former。The sliver of golden light casted upon her features made her blush less noticiable, but it was all too obvious that it was there。“I will not be helping you build a sex toy modelled after me。“She declared, with a slight giggle as she was unable to keep a serious expression。
At the same time she was pleased that Oberron did not have plans to bed someone else during their season apart。Alynia was scarlet with pleasure at his words, and even more so as he carefully captured her lips gently easing her down to the emerald grass beneath them。
The girl let out a soft gasp, ss if breaking through the surface of a lake,His hands travelled slowly and expertly along her sides, all too familar with where she was either sensitive or ticklish。
He shifted ontop of her, giving her a grin before swooping down to claim what was already his。Her eyes fluttered shut as she melted into that kiss fireworks before her eyes and butterflies in her stomach。In the back of her mind plagued that inkling of guilt。 She didn‘t deserve this。Alynia had hoped to wait。Regenerate on Avalon and prove her loyalty by giving her innocence to him again。。。but the passion he ignited with in her felt so wonderful。God, what did she ever do to deserve a man like him?

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Excellent, her mood was in a better place now for he had hated her being so sullen about anything. He grinned as she pushed him, even that closeness was enticing. “Well it's been a few seconds ...”
He erupted in a grin. Yes, he was arrogant in a way but it was a calculated arrogance despite his power. He always weighed the possible dangers of matters and what their options were. It was what made him good at avoiding pit falls and thwarted those obstacles when they came up. He was no fool after all.
Of course she was perfect in his eyes though he had reasoned that she might never know that herself or come to believe it. He realized that this was probably fantastical about the way he worked. So often something complex was brushed aside or made simple though really when one lived as long as he what was actually difficult?
Fortunately for her she had made it on his list of favorites so the dream would never end, not completely. She would have brakes from it and while he allowed her mind to govern the unfortunate events that had manifested he had realized her thoughts.
Still, he some what dreaded her discovering that this was all in her mind. What had it been, half an hour in reality but years here? Not only had he been manipulating her perceptions of the world about her but time as well.
This little problem with Ian allowed for him to conveniently return back to this reality but give her something to look forward to as well. Three months, it would probably be half that elapsed time before he drew her back again, he had ideas though in that time apart he had been hoping that things would not be so pleasant, not that he had wanted to have harm befall her but he realized that other denizens could do a much better job at it and when he did reveal his true nature. He already showed her his true form after all. Baby steps of course, though he was in no rush as he got to have his fun with her mind.
In many ways this could be deemed worse in drawing the girl into a realm that did not truly exist. Time would only tell how this turned out for him.
His eyes pressed closed as she brought her lips to bare against him, an ear first, then jaw and finally nibbled against his neck A hand of his rubbed her back as his eyes closed, the other dancing against her thigh.
“Sadly, five weeks though the seasons do not exactly match up with yours on your Shadow.”
Oberron grinned. “But think of all the fun you'd be missing when we get around to programming it. I suppose if it's too good ...” the same grin was on his features.
Her thoughts may have been a mystery to him or perhaps Oberron did not care about such things. He had never placed any conditions on their love before and wouldn't now.
He was rock hard above her as he laid her down on that emerald grass, his lips skimming down her neck, down against a shoulder as his fingers moved against her sides. He then snapped his fingers and she was conveniently naked, his hands seizing over her mounds granting them a brief squeeze before snapping his fingers again and getting rid of his clothing, his mouth settling upon her orb in place of his hand.
His tongue sweeping against her orb, slow and gentle licks to get her breast to ripen for him.

Re: Mediation (for Alynia)
Alynia tilted her head submissively to give her king more access to her delicate nape。Those brown eyes blinked shut as quiet femenine moan passed her lips。 She pressed up into him ever so slightly feeling that hardness he possessed,Her cheeks flushed pink with pleasure and a bit with surprise。H-he was like this already?
The grass beneath her was as soft as a cloud, and the way he touched her made her see sparks。The way his hands danced along her slender frame had Alynia breathless。Oberron‘s lips were careful and soft as they left a trail of kisses from her neck to her shoulder。
He smelled like fresh pine, and he felt like a god。It was hard to believe that anyone could make her feel this cherished。
So carefully, and so gently,Oberron assaulted her senses with his expertise and she could only whimper in response。The stark opposite of how Ian treated her,and she preferred this so much more。It felt fantastic。。。
Suddenly, her eyes snapped open at the sound of his fingers snapping。There had been the thought in her mind he was going to take it slow with her this time。。。but in that one instant her dress had disappeared along with her bra and underwear, revealing her glorious naked form,
”O-oberron!“ She protested with a pout after Alynia quickly overcame her initial surprise。”I hate it when you do that。“ Alynia muttered abashed。There was no suspense,no preparation。Whenever he snapped his fingers it all happened so quickly, she barely felt like she had the chance to enjoy it。
But her flustered face was so adorable,it was understandable why her husband liked it so much。The way she stuttered, unprepared to be so abruptly exposed to the air around her。Her cheeks were painted ruby, but she did not bother to try and hide her body from him。Alynia was fully away how effortlessly Oberron could convince her to give up,and if he was impatient how easily he could pin her down and ravish her senseless。
But there was something else she had wanted to hide。Though she appeared radiant before the glow of the fading daylight, there were marks scattered about her skin that typically wouldn’t be there。Such scars might have escaped the eyes of a human but surely Oberron, who was so familiar with her in this state and adroit with the gift of vision, would notice the small changes。There were small white scrapes along her breasts and stomach where Ian had been careless with the dagger。Claw marks on her shoulders from goblins rough handling her。Perhaps the most noticable were the bruises on her hips where Ian‘s merciless grip was clearly evident。
She hadn‘t wanted Oberron to see her like this, even though such marks were small Alynia had always taken pride in her flawless skin。The dwarves had been able to heal any markings on her face, arms, and legs but it was difficult to believe that she would let even healers to see her so bare and vulnerable。So the markings in more intimate areas of her body remain。A weekend’s trip to Avalon would have fixed her as good as new。A few drops of a potion。。。but she had not thought Oberron would advance upon her so eagerly。
She bit her lip as her husband took this in,but it was obvious he had not cared as his hands went quickly to her chest, massaging those soft pillowy mounds with delibrerate softness。
”Ah-”A lovely cry flew from her lips as her head canted back with delight。
God she missed his touch。
He shed himself of his clothing too,so they were finally flesh to flesh。How long had a been?A week?A month?Alynia hadn’t kept track of time。Alynia could have mentioned perhaps her body would be more pleasing to him after a night or two in Avalon, but her husband seemed determined to have his way without interuption。
He ducked his head down, emcompassing a pert nub inbetween his lips as his hand continued to squeeze her other breast。“O-oberron。。”She moaned airily。A shudder rippled up her spine as his masterful tounge applied smooth timely strokes to her nipple, encouraging it to swell and harden,Such a task was very easy to him as one her hand entangled itself into his silken dark locks pressing down on the back of his head with delight。
“A-so eager。。”She gasped out blushing even more at his straightfowardness。
