Rhaine got a quiche, a juice and and apple. She sat in silence for a bit as she seemed to contemplate for a moment.

“You seem to have that feel of someone who's been around for awhile.” She paused as if she were uncertain as how to approach a certain question she had in mind. “Has anyone come back here for grad work, kanoe? Or do they just finish up elsewhere? Anyone come back for work? TA's. Teachers, that sort of thing?”

"You are asking the wrong person for that sort of information," Kanoe replied, "I do not know enough people to know if anyone has graduated and what they have done after that. There is a graduate plan available for those who wish to work towards their Masters. So I do not know anyone who has come back as I have not known anyone who has graduated. Those people are none of my business." She could guess why the question was being asked but it was not something she should be concerned about. The question of what happens at graduation is one that has popped up before. But she has never attended graduation so she could not know. Her time would soon be coming up most likely. Coming back here afterwards was not exactly high on her priorities list.

“I can't see why anyone would want to come back anyway.” She muttered under her breath then shook her head slightly and seemed to cheer up a little.

“Stupid question, I know. I just couldn't remember seeing anyone in such a role, I haven't been here long. I;m certain a remote tropical island who have it's appeal at first anyway. But all the friends and family you leave behind, shopping at the mainland … what I wouldn't do for a beer. Can't get simple things here that are contraband materials. I guess you wouldn't know much about that sort of stugg ...”

She colored again. “Sorry, I didn't mean it like that if you got the wrong idea I'm sure you have lots of friends and family back on the mainland.”

The witch said nothing at the remark. Perhaps the student knew more than she was letting on. But taking the conversation down that route would do nothing unless Rhaine had some sort of information that would actually give her an advantage on this island. Yeah, that was not likely at all. Speaking further would only attract more unwanted attention and Kanoe accepted this offer of lunch to get rid of attention.

Kanoe did not drink so she did not care about things like smuggling beer or the like. The mention of people back at home made her smile faintly. "I have no friends and my family would not care," she replied simply, "So do not worry of it." The witch continued her meal. This was a conversation she had no real interest of delving further into. Rhaine had offered her lunch, not to vent everything wrong with the island. Then again, it was her fault for accepting an invitation from someone who apparently liked to talk.

“I'm sorry to hear that. No one back home?” Rhaine sighed a little and glanced up to the ceiling as she leaned back. She had seemed to consider something for a moment then turned her attention back to the quiche. Her mind was contemplating something and while she seemed chattey it did not seem as if she could keep herself quiet for long.

“What about a boyfriend?” She asked, hoping that witch wouldn't think to have believed that Rhaine was attempting to hit on her, she wasn't she was just adapt at inserting her foot in her mouth it seemed and it was made worse when she tried to clarify what she meant. This time she didn't trip over herself though hoping that the witch would just brush this off.

If the girl was here as long as she thought she had though the answer was a no. After another long moment she spoke again seemingly out of nowhere. “How good are you at reading Latin? At least I think it's Latin.”

"I already told you that I have no friends back home," Kanoe repeated. Her voice was neutral, showing neither annoyance nor favor towards all these questions. She had no boyfriend and her only lover or lovers were on this island and most have disappeared. The witch finished the rest of her meal and drank a bit more of her water as Rhaine tried to figure something else to ask.

"Latin?" the witch replied, "It is a dead tongue so no one is good at reading it. And no, I do not read Latin." It seemed like the subject was bouncing all over the place. But at least it was no more complaining about the island and asking about personal family back home. Such things were irrelevant for someone who spends her time studying magic on her free time. Normal topics tend to interest her less now that she could see a whole another world with her eyes.

“Sorry, I sort of always separated the two. One being friends and the other being lovers or possible lovers, just the way my mind works.”

Rhaine mulled over the issue of the book before Kanoe revealed her thoughts on Latin.

“I suppose your right there. I'm terrible at the languages though and assumed it was Latin. I found this book about a week ago and about the only thing I can make out is some of the pictures in it.”

She was unsure how Rhaine just finds a book on this island. Unless someone brought the book with them, books would be found in the library and perhaps the minimall. Kanoe was a little curious about the contents of said book but that was only if it had anything to do with magic. But just stumbling upon a book here on this isolated island, it seemed extremely unlikely. Besides that, she has more than enough magical and ancient texts to go through. As much as she would like a monopoly on such knowledge, it did not seem worth the trouble unless she was absolutely sure.

In any case, her lunch was finished and more students would be coming soon. "I see," she replied, "I must be going. Thank you for the lunch, Rhaine. Do have a safe trip to the dorms or next class." With that, the dark witch rose to her feet and smooth out her skirt. Unless Rhaine anything further to say, Kanoe would take her leave and start making her way back to her dorm room. There was still much to clean up after the battle she had.

“Thank you for joining me,” Rhaine smiled at the witch then got to her feet and took care of her tray.

The book didn't seem to be much more than an oddity to here. She was sitting on it for a week now, could not translate it and apparently had no inclination in magic or learning what it was. Apparently it wasn't anything to do about math so she could careless, nor did she seem to come upon it under unusal circumstances.

Bidding Rhaine good day Kanoe returns to her dorm, the room still quiet, the scent of smoke and melted plastic still in the air though it was not strong enough to trip the smoke detectors.

Cleaning up wouldn't be too bad, the shower curtain had a hole in it and needed to be replaced, the burnt towel would need to be replaced and portions of the walls and linen closet doors had charred points that would need to be painted, replaced or rewall papered.

The witch left and returned to her room. She opened a window to give the stench someplace to filter out. Replacing the shower curtain was of no trouble as was replacing the blow dryer. The walls would require a work order of somesort but should be a relatively minor issue, perhaps just a repainting. There were plenty of spare towels and the burned attired was all thrown out. It was a bit of work but well worth the price she went through to deal with that demon.

Once things were cleared up, she closed the window and had the rest of the evening to herself to study her magic. She continued reading through her tomes and notes while scribbling more notes down in a journal. A bit weary from the whole ordeal, she looked forward to going to sleep a bit early tonight.

Gersham monitored things within her mind. He had already found out her name through the connection they shared in this moment with he controlling what she had experienced thus far. He did not seem too concerned with things though, determining when was best to strike and when to ease up.

The student was only meant to draw out a name from her, and now that he had it he stored it away as he reached out in that locker room and caressed her smooth cheek though he did not release any of that insidious aphrodisiac, not yet at least.

Gersham would wait until she had rest before taking advantage of her. He had no particular vulnerability to flames though in this illusion he was misleading her senses so to speak. He even toyed with the idea of letting her win to dispel his effect and show that she was still just as helpless in that locker room not very far from where he iniately assaulted her.

She had made it through the day it seemed. The demon had come back while she was showering but she managed to drive him off and had a rather routine day until she had decided to retire for the evening. Her mind had reeled considering earlier matters in the day, her attack and escape but now, well now her body was struggling against the heat of that touch only to awaken a few moments later with the demon atop her, clasping her wrists to the bed as he gingerly liked at her cheek with his tongue.

Miss me?

The witch's slumber was hardly restful when she suddenly felt hands holding down her wrists and a heavy body laying on top of her. Apparently this demon was still not finished with her as he ran his tongue along her cheek. "Ugh! Get off of me!" the woman hissed, squirming beneathe the stronger monster. With her arms held down, she would not be able to make the proper gestures for her magic much less aim properly. "Haven't you had enough!?" she said, very much annoyed that not only her day was interupted but her night as well.

The real witch was not aware of anything though as she continued to stand there with Gersham's hand on her cheek. Kanoe would most likely not be happy to find that she will have to go through all this again when the spell is broken. In her dream, she began to kick her legs to try and push the monster off of her or at least wiggle out from under him.

Clearly I have not.

She wiggled beneath him as he drew her hands above her head raising her impressive chest in the process. She squirmed beneath him and he chuckled though she made some gains for he seemed deliberately weaker here … but strong enough to hold her down.

Even so he began to chant to form the restraints to bind her arms though she managed to wiggle from beneath her though he was still holding her wrists down to the mattress as she did so. The movements ruined his enchantation though, it was a bit tricker without the somatic aspects behind it.

Hold still!

He began to chant again ...

The witch was not about to take orders from this thing, especially orders of just hold still and let herself be fucked. She could hear the chanting which only made her struggle harder as she managed to break any bindings before they could fully form. Kanoe was not sure how this thing was having so much trouble but she would continue to fight back. But even if she did fight back, what then? This thing was just going to keep attacking her until he succeeded. There were plenty of other students to rape, why did it have to be her?

Kanoe continued to fight back. She tried to kick her legs and push the demon off of her. If she could just get her legs up, she could try pushing the demon completely off of her. If she could free her arms, she could try to burn the monster again. Unfortunately, there was no place to run. She would just have to keep fighting until one of them gets tired and quits. This better not become a daily thing. To ensure that it won't, she will have to destroy this thing completely if possible.

She had it easier because the real Gersham was making it a little easier for her, it meshed real well with what he was trying to do. He figured that she would be too distracted in her fight to really think too much about it and merely react.

He doubted that she would have simply laid their and though of all these things while being fuck senseless. Even in this illusionary state he had determined that he was much stronger than she, though she was a fighter, he licked that, he was aware that she could not really match him in this place.

He doubted she would fair much better in the arena but this was a good change of pace for the demon.

He hissed as she wriggled beneath him and tried to buck him off. She was able to get her knees underneath him and push against him before he could drive him weight down.

A handle came loose from her wrist falling upon a breast and squeezing against it as he squeezed the wrist of her other hand.

His aphrodisiac touch melted into her wrist as he glared at her as he attempted to scramble back atop her ...
