Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar smiled, happy to take a small break and talk a little bit. She stands up from her previous bowed position, but will not sit down until she is told to. Well, although I'm American, I was actually born on an American base on Japan. I grew up there only visiting the States to see relatives on occasion. I like listening to all sorts of music and I like reading about the latest fashions. I do have a collection of different outfits I like to try on when I'm not at class. Ishtar seemed to be happy to talk to the Head Girl about herself. May I ask about you, Miss Matsumoto?

Re: One day short (for Vera)
She received most of the same information as before but she doubts Ishtar remembered that much. The student did seem happy about the situation. Vera could only wonder how long that will last. It was only the first official day of serving the Head Girl. "Hmm... Not many ask that of me," she replied, "There is not much to say. I am a Head Girl here and work to maintain order here on campus as well as assist the students and staff in various tasks and subjects. I have two majors, one in business and one in computer science. I am mostly working on graduate level classes now. I occasionally read and study but most of my time is spent working. Is that satisfactory, Miss Rocha?"

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar listen intently as the Head girl told her of her duties and and how the she spend most of her time helping students and staff do various school tasks. And apparently they she like to read when she was studying and working, but that seemed to be few and far between. Yes, I think that answers my question, Miss Matsumoto. Is there anything else you wish to know about me or shall I continue vacuum the suite?

Re: One day short (for Vera)
"Hmm, nothing for now," she said calmly, "There will plenty of time for that later. Return to your duties, Miss Rocha. Around noon, I expect you to be making lunch. You may go now." Vera dismissed the woman. She returned to her work in updating reports from her Prefects and adding up accumulated demerits on numerous students. With so many Head Girls away, Vera was left picking up the other dorms and areas of the school's herself. Her days were always busy but at least it made time go by quickly. She drank her tea and left the empty cup sitting on her desk to be picked up later. For now, things were going smoothly but there was still the afternoon for Ishtar to go through.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar bowed again and returned to work cleaning the suite. She began to vacuum as she tried to remind herself to make lunch. It took longer than the blue haired woman was expecting as she continued to vacuum the massive room. She still did her best to to clean the suit as fast as she could, only pausing for a moment when she saw the empty cup. Dutifully the blue haired girl picked up the cup and took it to the kitchen to be clean and stowed away. With that done the young woman returned to her work at vacuuming the suite. However though she kept lunch in her head, she failed to pay attention to the time as it slowly drifted away...

Re: One day short (for Vera)
The young woman was doing well for the most part. Her servant even noticed and picked up the empty teacup. Long tasks usually were a non issue it seemed as it was doubtful Ishtar would forget what she was doing as she is already doing it. Unfortunately, it also meant that during that time, other things could be forgotten. Once it hit one o clock, Vera stood up and called for Ishtar once more. "Ishtar come here for a moment," she waited for the woman to arrive before continuing, "I wish for you to recite what you have done today and the orders I have given you." The student had already made one mistake so Vera would take this opportunity to see what was still in that pretty little head of hers.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar stopped what she was doing and walked over to the Head Girl; upon her arrival, the blue haired girl bowed, Yes, Miss Matsumoto. Upon arriving you asked me to cook breakfast and then dust and vacuum the suite. Ishtar then takes a moment to think further upon it. You then asked me to make lunch at noon. The forgetful student briefly reviews what she spoke about. I have cooked breakfast, and dusted the suite. I was finishing up vacuuming the room. I was going to begin making lunch shortly there after. Did I do something wrong?

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Vera smiled faintly at the answers she received. "You certainly are doing well with your memory so far. But, I do you know what time it is now?" she replied, "Though I said around noon, you failed to achieve that requirement. It is two minutes past one now. While I certainly understand your reasoning for the tardiness, it is still a failure on your part. If you wished to finish cleaning first, you should have requested that from me instead of deciding it for yourself. I see this as just a minor offense so I shall make this punishment quick and light. Pick and article of clothing and remove it from your person. For the rest of the day, you will work like that unless you continue to make mistakes. Once you have removed it, you may go and finish your vacuuming and then make lunch." So far, the Head Girl was impressed. But this was only the first day, it was going to get more difficult the longer she does this unless her memory improves from the duration of servitude.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar eyes went wide as she was told that it was already past one, she immediately bowed towards the Head Girl. I am sorry Miss Matsumoto, I did not realize what time it was. It was my intent to clean up until noon and then make lunch. I will try to avoid making that mistake in the future. It was then that the silver haired woman made the forgetful maid remove a piece of clothing for the rest of the day. Ishtar decided to remove her head piece from her blue haired as Miss Matsumoto allowed her to finish her cleaning. The young woman went back to vaccuming quickly finishing up what she doing. She then went into the kitchen to make lunch, soon the smell of chicken being cooked filled the suite.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Her maid obeyed with no complaints. For now, it was a relatively minor punishment. But these minor punishments will only become larger if more pieces of clothing are shed. "Be sure to make note of why you removed your head piece, Miss Rocha," she explained, "So far, your memory has been exceptional. I cannot say if you forgot the time due to your memory or simply lost track. Just be more careful in the future. Let me know when food is ready." Vera dismissed the woman. So far so good, she thought to herself. The Head Girl would wait patiently for food to be ready as she continued to consider what task to provide next.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar bowed once more, Yes, Miss Matsumoto. I will endeavor to remember why I lost my head piece. Ishtar made a mental note before she went into the kitchen. She began to work on making lunch. The blue haired maid decided on making a chicken salad for lunch. She begins with cooking some chicken cutlets which soon fills the air with chicken. Eventually when the chicken was done the young woman mixed the cutlets in with coleslaw mix, enhanced with fresh mint and cilantro, crunchy peanuts, and a sweet-and-salty dressing of fish sauce and rice vinegar that she had been preparing. The young woman then returned to table, Miss Matsumoto, lunch is served. The blue haired maid bowed once more as she awaited further instructions.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
It did not take long for Ishtar to be back on task. Soon the smell of cooked food once more filled the air. Her servant returned when the food was ready, taking it to the table and informing the Head Girl with a bowed head. Smiling, she stroked Ishtar's long blue hair. "Thank you, Miss Rocha," she replied. Vera moved over to the table and waited by her chair. "Proper etiquette says its more polite to pull out the chair for another," she stated. She was not annoyed but rather just educating the woman so she could perform better. Having raised a few servants, it was apparent the fine details of etiquette were rarely taught to them. She would wait until Ishtar pulled out her chair before sitting. Only then would she taste the food to ensure it was satisfactory. "You did well, Miss Rocha," she said finally, "Please make yourself a plate and have a seat. I must say you seem to be naturally obedient compared to other students. May I ask what you wish to get out of this school? You mentioned liking various outfits, do you wish to become a designer?"

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar smiled as she felt the silver haired girl stroke it, it was nice to receive such attention from the Head Girl. However it was then that Vera told her that it was proper etiquette to be pull out a chair. Oh I am sorry, Miss Matsumoto. I will remedy that immediately. The young woman pulled out the chair and waited patiently for the Head Girl to sit down. She then moved back as she watched Vera try the salad. it was then that the silver haired girl that to said that she make herself a plate and she then asked to her why she was here. Well I am interested in becoming an actress actually. I am can remember lines fairly well and I am in a few of the plays here.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
With such a forgetful woman who had no memory of serving anyone of importance, Vera could tolerate some amounts of ignorance. Now if the woman starts repeating the same mistakes, Ishtar would face the Head Girl's wrath. The silver haired woman was a bit shocked by the answer she received. Such an occupation would be impossible for someone with a limited memory unless they were good at acting without a script. "That would have been good information to know ahead of time, Miss Rocha," she said with a slight frown, "If you are able to remember the lines of a play, I see no reason why you cannot remember your day to day activities. What do you do to help yourself remember your lines?" Perhaps she could create a script that is made up of nothing but things to remember. Then again, that would be no better than relying on the journal in the end.

Re: One day short (for Vera)
Ishtar bowed, I am sorry Miss Matsumoto. I should have told you about that earlier. I study the script over and over again until I have it memorized. She sighed. I do not why I can memorize scripts but I have trouble in other areas. Maybe it was because it is something I really want, I do not know. The maid thought a bit harder about it, I also like to sing, so I guess I am good at remembering songs as well. Maybe practice makes perfect? It was the only suggestions on why her memory worked in certain situations and not others.
