He placed a hand on his chin, mouth tendrils flickering around as he gave the idea a bit of thought. His white eyes gazed at the human man before him analyzing the middle aged man. Of course he had not been alone, further back about 10 yards had been a duo, youths that had been armed with bizarre weapons that he had never seen though it had been the tasers that hung from their belts that attracted most of his attention.

Hating electricity Aegir kept a weary eye on them. This trio had not been alone. He could sense another two hiding out there in the forest. Their brainwaves were a dead give away since he could feel them against his own thoughts.

He could even feel the fear and apprehension rolling off these men as adrenaline coursed through their veins.

... alright, I'll do it. Have you got a test subject or do I need to acquire one?

... Her eyes fluttered opened, darkness pervaded the area though their had been sounds of voices coming from the end of the hall. Feminine voices that existed beyond a closed door at the end of the corridor amongst the sound of a dribbling ball and the occasional grunt.

Had she been aware that she was still unconscious? That Aegir had squirmed into her mind and had been manipulating things. Nor was she aware of much else save for encountering a student, actually a plant from the labs who actually appeared younger then she was.

She gathered Citara's attention by approaching her in the dorms just as she was ready to return to her own room. Then a prick from behind that had her instinctively whirling to another "girl" who appeared in her late teens but was rather plain looking considering the attractiveness of most of the students here.

Regardless, she had been holding an empty syringe and that was when thinks got black and she wound up here. Suffice it to say that whatever chemical they used on her had been fast acting, Nor did she know that when she was under that she was given another injection one that assisted with the regenerative process but had the interesting side effect of causing it's user to become aroused, this had been the second round of human testing and the scientists had not known if the got all the bugs out of their work yet.

Where Aegir factored into things had been simple really. He was a telepath and could monitor even the slightest thoughts or feelings. He could tell of any side effects that were occurring too. Something that they could not do so well.

And for his cooperation, well let's just say that Aegir did not need to hunt today if he so willed it ...

Citara woke up, feeling very strange. She wondered what happened. She remembered talking to someone in the dorms and then a pain in her neck. She opened her eyes, trying to focus on the room she was in. It definitely wasn't her room and she definitely wasn't on a bed. She felt the cold table that was underneath her. She blinked a few more times, the room still a bit blurry. She wanted to get up but felt heavy and couldn't move much. She began to get nervous.
"H-hello? Is anyone there? I....I need...."
It was then that she felt it. She felt the tingling in her body. It was focused deep in her stomach and seemed to be spreading down between her legs. She could also feel it moving to her breasts. She suddenly became very aware of her nipples. They felt very hard. She looked down and then noticed that she had no clothes on. This was when the panic began to really set in.

Behind him had been outside the building that she had been in. A basket ball court could be seen beyond these two men that had been in their mid 20's beyond the men were a trio of young women, all doctors perhaps given their white lab coats.

One guy stopped by what appeared to be a coat rack where he peel off and put on a lab coat. The other man spoke, his voice containing a lot of base within it. "Ah, your awake and after such a nasty fall."

"I hardly thinks she would remember," said the other as his eyes flickered back to his compatriot. "Though what on Earth happened to your clothes? Taking them off again like you had a habit of doing after the surgery. And Mathis turn up the heat will you? It's quiet obvious there's a draft in here.

Hearing their statements and questions just confused her even more. She tried to get up once again, managing to move to her elbows but feeling incredibly dizzy and fell back down.
"W-what? What are you talking about? Surgery? Fall? I don't remember anything like that."

The younger man of the two, probably an intern, colored slightly before wandering off doing his best to ignore the situation at hand. One of the woman strolled over after spending a moment looking through the cupboards and coming over with a blanket so the girl could cover up.

All the while the other man kept speaking as if he came across naked women everyday and the matter had been no big deal to him. He even came closer, his eyes dipping a bit to take in the firmness of her breasts though the slip had been there for only a second, maybe two.

"That's not too surprising given your head wound. Short term amnesia is fairly common. Anyway, as it was told to me you fell down the stairs while going up to your dorm room, someone was coming down in a hurry and witness said she bumped into you, knocking you over and causing your spill down the stairs.

"Your brain swelled in your head and it was necessary to cut open a portion of your skull so that the brain could expand. When the swelling went down we affixed a metal plate over the wound, fortunately scarring was kept to a minium and in time you'll covers that spot with hair when it grows back, we had to shave away the surrounding area before we could operate, the handiwork is beneath the bandage you now wear though you'll be best to keep the bandage in place for 8 hours before it's changed every 8."

Citara was completely shocked and brought her hand to head to feel for the bandage. It was there and when she though about the story he gave her, it did indeed sound like her.
"I can't see very well. Everything is blurry."
She began to trust the doctor and might as well tell him about her very blurry vision. She welcomedthe sheet and pulled it up over her naked body, covering her breasts as well.
"How long have I been out like this?"

The guy walked closer. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a pen light then checked her eyes one after another. "Vision loss is not uncommon in brain injuries. Motor skills, memory and so forth/ In stroke victims vision loss is common enough. In time though the brain compensates, at least it usually does. Your young so your brain will have an easier time of it then say an 80 year old though in my opinion full vision will return to you, though how long it takes for different portions of your mind to compensate,"

He paused before answering her next concern. "Four days before you became conscious. Another two before you were coherent. You were babbling at first indicating that you were having trouble with speech recognition. You were using the wrong words to express things though nothing uncommon in a head injury. You recovered readily enough though, amazingly within those two days as if we were never having problems to begin with.

"We can speak more over a caf in the cafeteria if you like. I haven't taken my lunch brake yet so I can take it now while I have the time."

Citara nodded slowly as to not add to her headache.
"That sounds good but can I please get something to wear?"

"Yes, of course," he answered as if he had forgotten about that. He turned towards one of the nurses then told her to fetch a johnie that she went off to get. She returned not long afterwards with the standard garment that so many patients wore.

"There's a restroom just there," he pointed to a shut door. "Go through that door, it's the first door on the right."

She nodded her head slightly and got up off of the bed. She wobbled a bit and he caught her, helping her stand.
"I'm sorry."
She still held the sheet around her, trying to keep herself covored. She even felt a little dizzy and it showed some.

"Quiet alright,it's typical in your situation," he answered as he escorted her in the direction of the door. He glanced into her eyes, the sheet trailing on the floor behind her. "It's common when the cerebellum is damaged that balance suffers since it's responsible for governing such."

He opened up one door, moved to the next on the right then opened it too. "There you go."

He waited outside for her to dress and when she came back out he relived her of the sheet escorting her to the cafeteria. Along the way he gave the sheet to one of the nurses to take care of.

Citara felt weird. She couldnt remember anything. On top of that, where exactly was she? She didn't remember this facility at all. She let him support her as they walked to the cafeteria. She was glad that the standard gown she wore closed enough in the back that it was hard to see her backside. If she sat down or bent over or there was a breeze, all would be shown though.

Doubt, no not doubt though she was beginning to question things which he supposed was normal. He escorted her to the cafeteria and it had only been when they had been seated with their trays of food in front of them that he turned towards her.

He took a sip of the apple juice he had gotten seeing that he had not been a huge coffee drinker then smiled at her. "Your not on the island any longer," he stated rather plainly as he addressed her doubts. "You were flown out here to Mercy hospital seeing that they could not treat you on the island."

Citara couldn't help but feel a little relieved about not being on the island. She wondered where exactly this place was located but didn't dwell on it. She took a sip of her own juice and just looked at him.
"Really? That explains why I didn't know of this place."
She sighed with relief and smiled.

"Yeah, they knew just enough at that school of yours to get the bleeding under control and wasted no time in evacating you here so that professionals could look you over. It's a good thing too, you were very lucky considering all that's gone on."

He felt the brief bout of curiosity flashing through her mind but had been aware that there had been nothing that she fixated on. Feeling the relief flow through her caused him to grin again as if by his spoken words, then he sipped his juice again before flickering his eyes at her as if she said something and he had been giving her all his attention.
