While he didn't wish to alienate her and risk losing future opportunities to have his way with her easily, he also had no interest in humiliating the students just for the sake of humiliating them. She mulled this over as she ran a hand against his side. “Tell me if you can ...” Daphnee pauses unsure how to phrase it. “When a girl is being attacked or just attack is there any protocol in place where other monsters leave her be for a while or is it that most do not like sloppy seconds and pass up on an opportune victim?”

It helped giving things some structure. She was afraid to ask her next question though but figured it was better than going around with a false sense of security.

The question wasn't anywhere near any of the restricted information, in part because it barely even touched on the school's actual rules. "There's no actual prohibition on that. Most of the guests here are somewhat… territorial, for want of a better word, so there isn't going to be much impromptu sharing happening. Whoever has a student has priority, so none of the others could join in here unless I let them." A rule which is supposed to stop conflicts between guests. I suppose it could cause problems if one guest grabbed a student another was chasing, but what are the odds of that ever happening? "As for right afterwards, not wanting 'sloppy seconds' or a student who's too exhausted to react is probably going to be a factor for many guests. There's also the simple fact that it's unlikely for anyone to just happen upon a student in that state unless they know where to look for her. The island's actually pretty big compared to its population."

“The dorms for instance. I've never been attacked in my room, another's room once though. Is it luck? Some sort of command? I don't know,” she shakes her head. “Matters are usual bad and horrid for me, I didn't know if someone might be giving me a brake during the night or if it's just dumb luck. It wouldn't change much. I mean, if I were true I'd imagine that such restrictions would be lifted if I just looked myself away in my dorm room.”

In a way she dreaded knowing but it let her prepare mentally for the night she woke up with one of the guests atop her. Even if it were just hat brief brake of a few hours that she was safe had been worthwhile.

It did give her some comfort if things worked that way in her case seeing that things tended to go poorly for her. Her mind had been fragile though why should she be any different than anyone else?

He thought for a while before replying; while he knew the answer, this was in a gray area of things the students shouldn't be told. She suspected the answer already, though, so there wasn't any harm in confirming it. "Well, some areas are effectively off-limits at certain times, but no, locking yourself in your dorm all day wouldn't work." "I can't be more specific about where and when, although why some places would be off-limits at times when students can be there should be obvious if you think about how this place has to work." Indeed, while only some administration areas were strictly off-limits to the guests (except by invitation), the need to maintain the illusion of normalcy resulted in areas that were either crowded or deserted, such as the mall or the cafeteria, were almost never visited by the guests.

Daphnee of course dreaded the response. She didn't barricade herself in her room thought it was comforting to think she had a few hours a night where she was going to be safe. She began questioning it though.

She had hoped that she would be left alone there at least, a sanctuary that she could count on between tortuous bouts though perhaps she was not alone in that endeavor, perhaps other girls were tortured just as badly. She did not know of course and while it was heart wrenching that this was not the case there was a glimmer of hope in that here were some places that were off limits some of the time and others that were around the clock.

Daphnee wondered about that and how best to incorporate that information. She did not wish to make a habit of it and abuse that knowledge but there were nights were she just need to be left alone. She didn't have the other students to turn to, and was essentially alone in this reoccurring nightmares … well, not all of them were such dreadful nightmares she could claim but that was beside the point.

After all, she couldn't see that as a violation of the rules unless there was something about checking out the same book from a college library where someone might reserve it if it were cheek out a particular time so the book in question could not be checked out until after the reservist had a crack at it.

She seemed to have misinterpreted him about the unlikelyhood of having more than one or two encounters a week; certainly, arranging a weekly encounter with him would fall under what he'd called 'attracting special attention.' Even so, he wasn't going to disabuse her of the notion; she'd probably figure it out eventually, and if she didn't, that would be his gain.
