Winding up the audio and video jacks, Montclair gave Leon dismissive gesture.

"Meh, those'll grade themselves," he quipped as he shoved the wires into the carry-case. A pale hand reached for the adaptor and stuffed that into the along with the jacks as well.

Off-handedly, he threw another question Leon's way. "So do we have a case against Bella or what? Oh wait, that's right, you're a girl."

With the same rapid change of tack, Montclair had answered himself as he packed away his gadgets. "Don't worry about it, Gemenii."

He smiled, the gesture felt rather than seen. "Even your sister must bow to authority..."

Two days later, the impossible happened when an official-looking letter had been dropped off at Bella's office.

She was quite content.; After spending the night in the basement and the morning in the pool the loud, violent Miss Geminii was actually happy.

Her hair was still a little bit damp from her morning swim class and she irritatedly pushed it out of her eyes. With a gentle sigh she opened the door to the room she and her brother was using and stepped inside.

Three long strides took her to the weird chair in the middle, and with a soft sigh she curled up in a seat, feeling their tree's energy run into her veins.

Only then she noticed the paper on her desk. With a lazy reach she snatched it up opened it and read.
