The blonde made a short face of understanding, staring at the book before she put it back in its place. "You're right, sorry about that. You've probably had enough of this to meddle in these."

She couldn't help but give a quick glance at the one Akiko picked up. "Though if you may like, we can check out other genres. There should be.... best sellers? Around."

"Don't worry about it. I can enjoy a good one provided the story is the focus and not just the adultish stuff." Akiko said with a smile as she looks at the books as she holds it. "But yeah let's check the best seller section...might be something good to look into." She grins as she follows the blonde to the section of the store. Various books of various colors and writing styles on the covers were seen stretching all over.

"Any that stick out for you?" She asked looking at them while holding her own book.

The cold woman reached the section with her lover, studying the books that were there, picking them up, reading their description and placing them back until she seemed satisfied with one. "Perhaps this one," she replied to Akiko and showed it to her. It wasn't a novel; in fact, it was the autobiography of a decorated war hero in this sector. There were other books she noticed about organization and improving aspects of one's life but she decided on one that probably would sound more interesting for the agent as well.

"What about you?" She asked curiously. They would have little else to do there before using the rest of the time to grab a bite or head directly to the store for their dresses.

"Hmm that looks good." Akiko said with a smile looking at the book as she nods her head. "Hmm I found this one as well.." She said showing to Sydr it was a book that was about wildlife of various planets around the systems. "I like learning about local fauna...to help make sure I don't wind up in trouble from something...some worlds seem to have strange and lewd creatures alot of the time." She said as she smiles.

"But besides that, unless you see a book for yourself, I think this'll do...so how about a little lunch, then we can go get our dresses." She teases.
