Ylf knew there was something wrong with this place.

According to some maps she had bought from the residents of a small desert moon, this world was supposed to be home to a group of skilled gemcutters. The stories were that they were tall, lithe and beautiful people not unlike the Albinnja themselves. This, coupled with their rumored skills in the area of working with precious stones made Ylf wonder if perhaps the two races were distant relatives.

When she arrived, however, she found a few small settlements in the many forests that covered the planets surface. Nothing lived there. There were plenty of buildings, but no signs of sentient life. Ylf had continued her search until she found a large building in the center of a forest clearning. It was made from immense stones, intricately carved and arranged into some sort of inn. Perhaps this race of people were primitive, and had hidden from her?

Ylf disembarked from her ship, leaving it nearby but out of sight. She wandered towards the stone building, stepping through a tall doorway and into the darkness of its interior. It was surprisingly warm inside, and enough daylight leaked through so that the Albinnja could find her way around. The building was decorated with wooden furniture and a set of stairs leading further up into the inn.

"Hello?" She called out, hoping the inhabitants were a friendly sort.

The girls voice echoed off the walls, going deep down some of the hallways. In the back of the darkest spot of the Inn a creature lifted its head, red eyes glowing in the dark. "its about.....time...hehehehe" The eyes disapeared and the room went silent once more. "come in my dear and have a seat" A voice called out from somewhere in the room, a force pulled the girl inside and the door shut by itself. "welcome to the Inn of Ill Omen, but dont let the name frighten you its just to attract business" The woman took a few steps toward the girl, she was wearing what appeared to be a womans business suit.

Ylf cried out in alarm as she felt herself pulled into the inn by some invisible force. The door slammed behind her and she turned to see the only exit closed to her. The Albinnja was beginning to think that this venture was starting to go a little downhill.

She turned back to face the stranger. There were a few similiarties between the woman in front of her and the Albinnja race, enough to convince the foolish young alien that this was one of the people she had come to see.

The woman explained where Ylf was and the Albinnja sighed in relief. These sort of gimmicky bars and hotels were everywhere and she cursed herself for falling for such an obvious gag.

"I apologise for being so startled," She said, hand on her impressive chest, pulling her diplomatic clothing up to make her more official looking. "My name is Ylf, of the Albinnja people. I have come here to greet you on behalf of my people, and to possibly begin trade negotiations. Might I ask your name Miss...?"

"you may call me Dorath" The woman smiled and walked over to shake her hands, the closer she got the colder the air around the young female would become. Somthing was not quite right but with a tricky Inn like this could you possibly suspect anything? "I have never heard of your people before I would love to speak further with you about Trading we dont get many Traders around these parts" From the corner of the room, a Maid walked out into the room bowing politely. "this is Bethany the house maid, she will see you to your room and give you a hot bath before supper"

Ylf bowed her head slightly as was the custom for her people.

When Dorath introduced the maid, Ylf put up her hand in protest. "A bath and a room? Oh, I don't wish to be a bother!" She bowed again, "I mean, I wasn't expecting such generosity."

Truth be told, the Albinnja was liking the sound of a hot bath. This room almost felt as though it were getting colder, was it her imagination? Or was it yet another part of this inn's gimmick?

"Oh come we must give all potential Traders respect please go with her and relax we shall discuss the matters over dinner" Dorath pushed the girl toward the maid alittle. The Maid bowed again and raised her hand toward the stairs. "this way miss" Dorath walked over to the Window and looked out seeing the ship the woman had come in on. Rubbing her chin gently, the woman snickered to herself. "dinner is going to be a blast tonight" The Maid looked at the woman and smiled. "would you like a massage after your bath or before?"

Ylf was taken away by the maid before she could protest further. She followed the woman with a dazed smile on her face. The prospect of a massage took Ylf by surprise. Dorath walked back into the Managers room of the Inn and closed the door. "dont let me down Mearl" She said under her breath. The Maid leading the woman to her room smiled to herself. "yes mistress" She said quitely, then turned to the woman. "this is it" Opening the door and standing aside for the female. "one luxury suite and large bath" The maid walked over behind the woman and began attempting to undo her strange clothing. "The mistress would be most pleased if you wore one of the dresses in the closet to dinner"

Ylf blushed heavily as the maid began attempting to undress her. Was this another custom here? Were these people so used to undressing one another? It was strange, but certainly not the most odd thing she had come across in her travels.

The Albinnja swallowed, reminding herself that she wanted these people to accept her. She unbuckled the small blue dress and unwound it. Ylf was a little confused by the quiet snicker, but again she simply put it down to the odd customs of these people. Not everyone could hope to be as great and flawless as the Albinnja after all.

The woman approached the bathtub, pressing the red button a few times until the tub was filled with hot water, the perfect thing to warm her up and take away the stress of such a long journey.
