The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The plight of the Trixian race was something most races seem to have brushed aside and forgotten. No one came to their aid while they were being attacked so why would they bother now, after the risk of whoever attacked the Trixians, deciding to attack them in turn for helping was far too high. So it seemed the race was doomed to a slow extinction, but perhaps that would be their salvation. As for Morloch, the only reason he finds his attentions drawn to the Trixians, is the fact they are so rarely found. The need to study one and explore her limits and flesh is far too powerful to ignore. It would just so have it, their ship is approaching a small planet under Morloch's control. The race who called it home had long since died out and been replaced with simple drones who quickly built up a society upon it's surface to lure foolish ships lost in this area of space into landing.
Hooked up at the core of the planet's main city, he watches as the Trixians ship passes into range before he sends a command to one of his drone. Within an instant a message is sent to the ship offering safe passage and a place to land upon their home to restock on supplies. The only conditions is that no weapons are brought onto their world as they are a peaceful race and have had trouble with pirates in the past posing as traders. His drones make sure everything is prepared, they appear harmless and simple enough. Humanoid in shape with blue metallic almost crystallized flesh. They wear simple plain white clothing with no apparent weapons on display. They wait for her ship to land upon the docking bays, of course everyone here is merely an extension of Morloch's robotic will. Almost the entire city is under his control able to be twisted and shaped depending on his needs.
Already Morloch is studying what intel he has upon the race, as he singles out one female who catches his eye. A princess no less, she shall the one he carries out his tests upon. Already his twisted mind knows how to ensare her, after all what is more important then saving her dying race. The question is, how far will she go to ensure that ship escapes here undamaged and with it's supplies.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Have you heard any word yet.
"Yes, m'lady, they have extend a welcome and invitation." Enru, the blonde haired handmaiden replied as she checked the communications one more time. She was the tallest of the three that occupied the royal shuttle. "They did say we were welcome to board and purchase fuel and supplies."
"I don't like it." says An, the short brownhaired handmaiden. She took a moment to put her pistol away in storage locker as she readjust her the cape that made up part of the uniform. "They want us to leave our weapons on the ship. I can understand the fear of us being pirates in disguise, but I don't like that being unarmed."
Well it is their world, so we must obey their rules. Princess Octavia walked up to where the two handmaidens running the bridge, it was important to they be able to see her in royal dress. It was a formal dress she wore first encounter situations. Her long pink hair flowed down her back to a bit past her rear.
Besides we are low on fuel so we will have to dock with them to refuel anyways. Please go ahead and dock. We will greet them when we land.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The city gives off every impression of a utopia even from the skies, bright lights and towering metal structures built in ways far beyond human ways could possible even begin to understand. Some of the city's beauty is spoiled by damage suggesting a recent battle and most likely why they are so on edge about her crew bringing weapons onto the surface. In truth it's all an act, everything placed perfectly to lure the princess and her crew into a false sense of security. Of course Morloch only has eyes for the princess, the ship will be resupplied and refueled so the rest of the crew won't get suspicious and ensure the Princess's people are convinced nothing happened.
The delegate of officials are already gathered on the dock before the ship has even settled, metal clamps reaching out to lock the ship in place as workers begin to pull fuel lines and other maintenance upon the ship to offer their aid. The officials all look identical and speak as one, one voice seems to speak and yet it's impossible to tell from whom.
"Welcome to our humble home, we hope you will find all that you require here and enjoy your stay. We know the burden of tending to your people, so please allows us to extend an invitation to you, dear princess, to attend a dinner party. Many of our people would love to meet you. We have heard of the plight of your people and are happy to offer aid in any way we can..."
It all seems too good to be true, but that's exactly what Morloch wants her to believe, to lure her into accepting their kindness for the good of her people and falling further and further into their depth. But of course she won't realize what is truely going on until it's far too late.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Octavia was amazed to see have the development of the city, almost every she looked she saw gleeming metal structures covered in bright lights. She kept spinning around and around as everything in view there was something for the pink haired princess to see. There was only one part of city that looked bad, it looked like a battle had just taken place recently. The royal assumed that is why these people were so strict about no weapons.
As the ship touched down, workers began to swarm the ship as they began to hook up fuel, even as they began basic maintenance on the ship. The royal and her two handmaidens descended from the ship, they were greeted by robotic officials. It was a bit unnerving to here them talk at once, but the princess knew she to accept it as part of their culture. After all they were able to create all of this. And they were inviting her to the dinner.
The princess curtseyed to the delegation, Thank you. On the behalf of the Trixian Hegemony, I humbly accept your dinner invitation. I am sure it will be a great time for all. An tensed up a bit but said nothing as she knew it was not her place to say anything right now. For now, the brown haired handmaiden would have to hold her tongue until she could talk to the princess in private.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The officials manage to smile as the princess accepts their offer, as one offers her his arm before indicating for her to follow. The rest falling in alongside, most alarmingly for her handmaidens no doubt, they seem to surround them as they walk as if to ensure they don't wander from their tour of the city. The officials tone is soft and polite as they explain to the princess about their own race's downfall, how like her race they were attacked and almost wiped out. They explain by becoming the robotic creatures she sees before them, they have managed to survive this long. Of course most of it is a lie, designed and fabricated to create sympathy in the princess's heart. After all if they have suffered a similar fate surely it will only make her think of her own past.
They lead her deeper into the city, revealing further wonders and clearly a peaceful society. No weapons can be seen upon them and there is no evidence of crime or suffering in their city, almost too perfect. Everything is like it was simply created to be perfect, like a performance on stage, they follow the written roles laid out for them. In truth they are mindless, Morloch tugs at their strings as he leads his prey away from the protection of her ship and now to deal with her maids.
"Here we are princess, the other guests have already arrived and you will be our last.."
Leaning closer to whisper in her ear, they continue.
"Sadly we are worried your...bodyguards may upset a few of our more elder members. They will not take too kindly to the fact we have allowed warriors onto our planet and may decide to refuse aid... they could wait outside where no one would notice them. But of course we understand if you do not feel safe in our care.."
They could easily order this, but it's better to make it seem like her choice, after all if it means all that aid being taken from her people.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Princess Octavia saw one of the officials offer an arm to her, and she quickly took as the other members of the greeting party quickly surrounded her. The handmaidens were taken aback by how seamlessly they managed to quickly surround the princess and the handmaidens. The handmaidens felt that it was done to ensure they stay on the tour, though the princess was far too busy chatting with the official to notice. Soon they were being brought on a tour of the city.
The royal marveled at everything she saw. The officials had mentioned that the city had nearly been destroyed and they had been forced to take on these robotic bodies to survive. Still the sections the Trixians were touring, showed no damage at all. The robotic creatures went about their daily tasks, there was no evidence of any crime, any homelessness, or any suffering. Too lose so much and manage to turn their situation around was simply amazing. For this level of cooperation, they had to unite to fight off a common foe just recently.
It was then that they had reached the meeting hall, the official whispered in her ear. She heard that she would have to leave her bodyguards behind to not scare the elders. The young woman nodded, Enru and An, you will stay outside for right now. I will be return after the meeting.
"But m'lady," the brunette handmaiden replied, "Our job is to protect you..."
Which you can do from outside, interrupted the royal. Octavia sighed as once again security was getting in her way to completing her task of getting needed supplies for her people. This is the custom on the planet and as guests of this people we must respect their customs, do I make myself clear?
"Yes ma'am."
Good. She bowed slightly to the official. Forgive us, please lead the way.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The officials seem pleased with the princess's mature choice, knowing she isn't too stubborn to listen to reason. Even if it shall cost her later. They guide her inside the massive dinning hallway before the doors softly shut behind her locking her handmaidens outside. The second the doors shut, wires explode from the walls and even the robotic drones standing around them, coiling around the two handmaidens and muffling them before they can cry out as they are quickly sedated and swallowed up by the metallic city. They will wake up in a few hours with no memory of what they endured as Morloch decides to past the time by studying their bodies until he has the princess to focus his attention upon.
"To be honest Princess, we know very little about your race so we have no idea of what food your race may like and what may be harmful to you. Perhaps you would like to speak to our chef and educate him better?"
The officials glide towards their seats as the large table seems filled identical robotic people. It's hard to tell just who are the elders, but perhaps the ones who stare at her as if she were a criminal for being weapons to there world. But no one insults her or tries to stop her as the guides show her to the kitchens. Of course entering the room, a intense wave of heat can be felt as they have no need to worry about temperature, acting ignorant to what effect it might have on their guest all dressed up in layers of clothing. The "chef" seems to be a huge machine at the center of the room with robotic tentacle like limbs performing countless tasks at once. One large robotic eye locked upon her as she enters.
"Ah this must be the biological life-form you wish for me to cook for. You don't know how wonderful it is, since our transformation to machine, we have had no need for variety or flavor in our food. It would be an honor to cook for you, what can you tell me about your race's tastes?"
Of course everything is playing out so innocently, to further lure the poor Princess into their net. After all Morloch is enjoying moving her like a pawn in his game, testing her already to see her strength of character.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Octavia watched at the the official glide effortlessly to their seats around a large table. It was hard for the royal to tell any of them apart, much less figure out which ones in the rooms where the elders. She kinda of figured that they might be the ones that were staring so intently at her, but if she had offended them in someway, they did not give any indication of it. It was then that her robotic guides had asked her to follow them into the kitchen.
The wave of heat was intense. If Hades had a temperature, the princess was sure this is what must feel like. A huge machine at the center of the room eye turned to her and asked her what she wanted cooked. The robotic creature made the pink haired princess a little nervous with all its tentacles doing numerous tasks at once. Still she managed to retain her dignity and asked, I was wondering if you know how to make darvot fritters. The young woman could feel the sweat begin to drip off her. She hoped that they could be seated soon.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The guides seem to have disappeared for the moment leaving her alone with the cook as they drift away, of course this is only to add to Morloch's "fun" of toying with her before he takes her. The cook seems to ponder her words before he pulls her over a seat and begins to go through his inventory looking for ingredients. Putting up every impression that this cook's only focus is on food and nothing more. After all why would a machine care about her physical form?
"Oh that one sounds fun, you must show me how. By the way princess you look poorly, perhaps you should change into something more suitable while your here. Don't worry they are all too busy talking and I won't take offense if you need to rid yourself of all those bothersome layers.."
The cook says the last few parts almost like an off-hand comment. As if he was just throwing the idea around and didn't really care of the outcome. Just offering her some advice to aid her. Of course her handmaidens won't be able to protect her now if Morloch decides to just grab her. But he does enjoy his experiments and toying with his prey.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Octavia blinked a bit as the robotic cook mentioned for her to show him how to cook the recipe, Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you already knew the recipe. My meals are usually cooked my one of my handmaidens. However, I don't want to make the elders nervous. Do you know any other recipes?
The young woman continued to fan herself as she tried to keep herself cool. However with amount of sweat she was starting to generate, it was becoming clear that she was failing. The cook then suggested that she could take off her clothes. The pink haired princess looked absolute aghast by the thought, I can not do that. I do have my dignity. I am suppose to be able deal with like a proper lady.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Morloch almost snarls to himself as she replies, everything in this city is connected to him now, but still he won't spoil his experiments just yet. It's to be expected she would react such away but now it's time to see how clever she truly is and if he can manipulate her further into his own private games for amusement. The handmaidens will provide good physical tests for the moment until he claims his true prize.
The cook doesn't seem phased by her answer only to make a shrug like gesture before speaking almost so softly that she won't hear to make it seem like another off-hand suggestion.
"Such yourself, but you aren't with your people here. You don't need to keep up appearances, they are machines now like me, they won't even notice. Might even help if they see your not some stuck up royal only worried about making herself look good, show them your not afraid to make sacrifices for your people. Of course it won't help them if you pass out because of the heat, they can't feel it anymore so I apologize."
Again acting the role, the cook quickly switches topic back to food, leaving the words hanging in the air like a poison hoping to fool the poor princess in making yet another mistake today. The cook begins to ramble on about foods and other recipes as it works, most of it hard for the princess to follow of course, to leave her to dwell on her own thoughts while the cook works. There is no one else around of course.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Octavia fanned herself again but it was no longer any use, the heat was simply too unbearable. She was going to have to do something to cool herself off or she was going to pass out just like the chef said. The princess looked around to make sure the room only consisted of herself and the chef. Are you sure no would mind, I would hate for someone to come in and see me with out my dress on. The royal blushed a little as she made the request, as she knew that her dress did not allow her to have a bra and all she was wearing was just a pair of panties. Still the heat was getting too rough for her as she realized that she was going to have do something soon.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
The cook makes a metallic chuckle like sound before he begins to lay out a selection of dishes for the young princess to taste to ensure everything is ok of course. Again acting his role to keep her from guessing the truth behind what is going on here. Making sure to show her no one else is here and that the doors are shut before he answers her.
"Of course Princess, you may have noticed they all wear the same here. They no longer notice such things without their natural bodies. They have no need for reproduction now, if one dies they are given a new form. You will learn you could walk around here naked and no one would even glance twice, and it's only common sense, it will look far worse for them if you pass out, your people may think we did something."

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Octavia sighed as the heat seemed to get even hotter if that was even possible. She turned around so that her back was to chef so that he only see her back. Then she went about removing her clothes, first to she began to unbutton her formal jacket. The jacket was placed on a nearby chair, it really only covered her shoulders and arms, allow her strapless dress to be seen in all its glory. Then she unzipped herself so that her dress was loose enough for her to get out off. Instantly she felt alot cooler as she slowly moved the dress off her body and placed on the chair.
The royal was now clad in only her pink frilly panties. The young covered up her chest as she turned her head to look back at the chef. Well I do feel a bit cooler now but I would like to get back in my dress as soon as I can.

Re: The Price of Hope (Octavia)
Despite her attempts, Morloch sees everything without the princess knowing. Capturing every detail of her beautiful young nude form much to his pleasure as she undresses, of course he ensures to keep up the act making the cook show no signs of glancing in her direction once she is out of it but now it's time to lure her in further. The cook lays out the few small dishes for the princess to try, of course they aren't all harmless. One or two will have odd effects, nothing too startling. One might make her body feel slightly warmer, another might help to build up her arousal. But he has an important plan for this.
"That reminds me princess, since I no little about your race, I am not sure what effects they will have on you. Certain foods might be dangerous to your race, if only we could examine your race more closely but I don't think your people would take kindly to being studied and tested upon.."
He says nothing more, once again letting the princess make her own mind up. Morloch is curious just how far this princess will go for her people, or is it all for show.
