Post subject:  Help for the Newbies: Basic Profile Skeletons

This was originally posted by Kagera and I found the profile skeletons very useful when I started on Shokushu. Here I'm going to put together a list of FAQ's that were answered in this thread, and similar threads previously posted.

Profile Skeletons:

This is from every bio I have ever seen stuck all together and a few things added to help the newbs. The old SHS once had monster profiles to look at, and some still have similar ones in their bios, but this is a simplified fill out form if it helps. (P.S. This is only a guideline of the type of info expected, originality is always a plus...hope this helps.) One for monsters, one for students, one for ADD agents.

Thanks for the effort with this Kagera. I'm sure this will be useful to the new people as a good guideline to help them shape their characters.

New people should keep in mind though that the lists here are not inclusive, nor are they mandatory. Monsters are not required, for example, to have a human form...and in some instances it's not even encouraged. Students are human girls...so not every one will know magic.

In any event, these are good guidelines and again I thank Kagera setting it up, but new people remember that while using this as a guide you should follow your own path.

As always, if you have any questions or desire for help with creating your character, the best thing of all is to ask and we'll do our best to give you a hand

I just wanted to add a small note:

Why have profiles at all?

Are you thinking "Because everyone does it"? Actually, there's a much better reason: Because it helps other people decide if they want to roleplay with you.

Your profile is basically an advertisement for your character. What you want is for someone to read your profile and say "Hmmm, looks like fun". (That's why many people have a link to their profile in their forum signature.) It's meant to give readers an idea of what to expect in a roleplay with you. (This is especially important for monsters, which often have superhuman abilities and strange powers!)
