Now I'm imagining something like a demented cross between Calvin & Hobbes and Alien, just with sex

It is spring, the Nowegian national day, 17. May is just around the corner and Pia is feeling a bit homesick.
So Pia's puts on her traditional dress to celebrate it, with a Shokushu twist, off course.

This was basically a joke doodle I decided to redraw as a proper scetch, and then color in Photoshop.

Thanks! I tried making his skin bumpier, as I understand it is supposed to be, but it all ended up looking more like a humanoid bunch of grapes, so I decided to keep the smoother appearance, even if I know it is not 100% correct.

It's fine, deary - like I said, much better than some I've seen. Besides, at that distance, you wouldn't really see the bumps anyway... the bumps are very small compared to Alucard... sorta like with a basketball, y'know?

Not as cool as CMS' three dimensional stuff, but I thought it kind of cute anyway.

I might tidy it up and color it one day, if it turns out well, I'll post it too.

Very cute. I like your style of drawing. It seems to draw on both Western and Eastern animation.

Your art style is quite rounded, your figures curvy and big-eyed. Like a modern take on the 40's pin-up girl... In other words, you've got hot art.
