In Our First Days.

And I looked and there was light.
Light and heat and the fires of eternity did blaze wherever my infant eyes did fall.
My mother was with me then,as she was with all of us in the first days of light.

And I closed my eyes and there was darkness.
Cold and empty like the pit of sadness that rested within my unformed mind.
My mother was gone from me in the days of my first darkness as she was gone from us all to seek that inner darkness in herself.

That was really pretty And sad at the same time I like it.

With My Brothers And Sisters

We were the fire of life in the first days of dawn
We were the lights of creation as stars exploded into life within our souls
And we were legion

My brothers and sisters stood proud at my side
"To war,to battle,to chaos's end!"
And our hearts were pure

My brothers and sisters all fell at my side
Leaving naught but the Darkness of my mother's embrace
And our hearts were scoured

To mercy's loss
And the end of kinship
To the breaking of vows
And the beginning of hate
To the dissolution of all I believed

A new march to war was soon to begin.

The Last Days In The House Of My Mother

And we were legion
There in the first days of dawn
And we were bestial
In the crunch of bone and the tearing of flesh

And in our souls was fire
For the light of life is ever thus
To burn and sear
To consume to grow

But the the light and its fire
Became a burning curse
And the anger of our wilder blood
Stirred the maelstrom of hatred and rage

Awake!
Our blood is alive with the roaring promise of bloodshed and carnage!
Arise!
As the Ancients march once more to war!
And mourn!
For the enemy is the blood of youth so thinned into inconsequence.

And within the Light,there was violence.For within the Light,there was anger and it did scour mercy from our souls
As we tore our young to pieces
For the sin of growth

And our mother turned her face away
In sorrow and despair
From the children who so wounded her
With the blood of kin raining from the skies

And our mother turned to the Darkness then
That lingered within her soul
For the Light could only burn,destroy and rage
While the Darkness could only ever
Embrace.

THe Last Days of Clarity

And I looked and there was darkness
And it surrounded the light
And the emptiness within the light
Chilled my soul

There are no answers within certainty
No hope to find answers within the light
Illumination spawns only shadows
Illusions of the truth

So I turned toward that inner darkness
Just as my mother did
And I found there my hope

What salvation is left me
Rests within pain
Rests in torture
And subservience

To the end of my days.
