“Umph!”

She staggered back after receiving that kick. Their swords had clattered together, a disappointment that her attack had been thwarted. Yet there was barely enough time to catch her breath suffice it to say recharge that plasma attack.

It had been too early to recognize that the droid was essentially a replica of herself in many ways. She saw the droid coming at her, a perfect time to launch plasma if she could. But the droid was virtually atop her before she got her breath back managing to intercept the blow with her own sword.

While she was going to throw a punch with her left the sword strike was swinging in from that side and to do so would have been foolish. Instead she reached to the heel of the droid attempting to yank it off balance while summoning up what strength she could, being in a kneeling position sort of limited her options in a counterattack.

If that didn't at least unbalance her opponent a little she would be in trouble having to defend against the droid swinging down at her until she could build up an effective charge. If she unbalance it she could attempt to stand and if she actually brought it down then she would scramble to mount it using her sword to stab down like a spear, hopefully before that sword would be an issue, if it seemed that the droid recovered too quickly where it would be an issue then she would use that time to get to her feet instead and spring back planning out her next move.

The direction of the slash meant both the training droids feet were planted on the ground. Scorch's attempt to grab it by the ankle only forced the droid to step away from the young woman. The two of them again were equal distance away, only the tips of there training swords coming near each other. Lx sat there watching things from his throne. Despite the AI scorch was managing to hold her own, despite the hundreds of hours of data used to program the AI. The AI scorch would break the silence first with the training swords now clashing a number of times, between the two. Despite the clashes of blades the android all ways kept mobile, moving either left or right before sharply turning in to strike. The training droid was trying to throw Scorch off balance by the sudden changes in striking motion by also putting momentum behind the strikes. It was also trying to get behind the young woman, but could never manage to do so. On it's next pass though it decided to try something different by attempting to use its free hand to grope one of scorch's breasts.

It had not worked in unbalancing the AI but at least she managed to scramble to her feet. At first she had not caught on as to how it thwarted her efforts. Soon she did seeing it counter her every move and even try to circle around her in order to get behind her.

Without another opponent or other threat to deal with she was able to prevent that. Upon realizing it had her own skills she had to consider her options. Whether that it had been programmed with her data or scaled to mirror her skills had been something she was uncertain of but there was one thing she was certain of. She would tire long before those batteries wore out and so she had to come up with something but what?

Fighting naked was a bit harder than she thought as well. Scorch had been somewhat use to fighting in tattered clothes but her breasts had no support jiggling with each move whether it was to dodge or parry. Each time she could feel their weight as they bounced and heaved with each deep breath she managed.

Calculating what the AI could do she reasoned it could do anything she did save for launch flame and plasma. That would have to factor in here if she was to win this contest.

It waited until she had expended enough energy to come at her another way groping her breast and giving her a squeeze there. The metal was cold causing her nipples to stiffen at once. “OHH ...” eyes closed briefly, she managed to swat at it's wrist as she bounded back.

It barely made contact but was learning that it could start to gain ground, that she was tiring. Her eyes sprang open a moment later indicating she was trying to generate a charge with their color change darkening not that she was far enough away but her strategy now was to charge up as much as she could holding on to that charge as long as possible and pray that her concentration was not broken.

It might have noted her eyes changing color before with the attack previously but she did not have to release it straight away and could hold onto it for the most part.

For the time being she had to swap to defense since getting a bit of distance was beyond her at the present time. If this worked out she would go on the offense after a counter first getting the timing down to take advantage of the situation that had to come soon if there was any chance of success at all.

Lx could see it in his pupils face. She was beginning to come to realizations about herself, and her opponent. Scorch realized the weight she now carried on her chest. How her mammaries felt while moving about, and how much weight they added to her movements. It was different when she had support for those now free swinging globes. It had been something she had taken for granted, and now it was working against her. Lx could also see that she was now realizing the training droid was a replica of herself, but she didn't know how much of her data was in the programming.

He could see that she opted for a more defensive stance, while trying to leverage the one advantage she probably had against the droid. Unfortunately the droid also knew of her defensive stances, and how to get through them. Playing defensive wouldn't work, not against this opponent. Each strike the droid sent her way thundered off scorch practice sword. Each strike was angled in ways she wasn't use to defending from, or from directions she wasn't use to. The droid was aiming for just about every sensitive spot to break her, while moving around her. It appeared to be specifically aiming for her breasts, ass and back of her knees.

The training sword darted in at an unusual angle dipping beneath her own sword and coming up so that she could not block it. She just barely pulled back far enough to avoid getting hit. But the droid was tireless and stepped in bringing the weapon down before she could readjust her own to interpose with it.

Struck on the breast the blow left a red mark and stung a great deal. Her charge she managed to build up faded at once as she was stunned for a moment, not long enough for it to get behind her even as she heard the practice weapon clatter on the ground dropped from her grasp.

She rolled to her left, her weapon and the droid in the opposite direction. It was all she could do, a desperate plow now. The droid was in control now, she was unarmed and unable to get up to her feet unless the droid didn't follow after her. She didn't even have the time to build up any sort of charge again.

It was over once she stopped that roll looking up at the droid not moving as a deer caught in headlights would freeze up in place.

“I yield.”

The training droids attack was the last thing she expected by her reaction. The consecutive attacks drained the human woman's self confidence away. Her last gambit falling apart like a glass shattered on the floor. Lx stood up each step he took could be heard as he descended down those stairs. He had noticed the whelts on her body caused by the training sword. Those would go away, but there was something else on his mind. "What have you learned?" He would ask now on the same floor scorch was laying on. The training droid would walk back to the spot it had activated on the floor, before turning off and be retracted back into its holding cell. The floor sealing flush where the lift was. Lx did not move from his spot near the steps, or made any attempts to have some one help scorch up off the ground.

Stinging sensations erupted all over her body as she felt the ache at moving sitting there as she caught her breath. Hearing him descend down the stairs as the droid departed she glanced toward him, her eyes blue now.

She considered the question for a moment and gave the answer a bit of thought rather than rushing ahead into things. “That I need a lot of work in close. That someone of my skill level or greater would be difficult if not downright impossible to defeat hand to hand at my current skill level.

“And to expect the unexpected. It managed to unbalance me, I did not consider a droid doing what it did,” she answered. Against an organic foe she might have anticipated such a move but not from a droid that derived any pleasure from such acts.

She got up to a knee resting again as that little movement troubled her a little but a second later she pressed through the pain rising to her feet to stand naked before him.

She was quick on the analysis if anything else, but after match analysis didn't serve to help in the actual fight. Lx stood there listening to her explanation. Indeed her hand to hand combat needed work, but that wasn't the only thing. "You did not expect the droid to do that, because you are not use to the droid being programmed in such a manner." Lx crossed his arms careful of his own organic forearm blades. "You need far more work then just your hand to hand skills. You lack awareness and the ability to read your opponent. That all comes from knowing oneself which you apparently know nothing about." He was not about to tell Scorch the droid had been programmed with her combat data. She hadn't realized it during, or even now after the training session so there was no point in telling her, if she couldn't figure it out herself. "Your one other flaw is the reliance on that ability of yours. It takes you far too long, and requires you to focus far to much on using it. In order to use it in combat efficiently you need to use it like its a part off you." His finger would tap one of his organic forearm blades illustrating his point. "Unfortunately I am not adept in pyrokinetic abilities, but there is some one in my limited services that is. I could have her train you in such, if that is what you want." Lx knew scorch was doing this for her sister. Trying to improve herself so her sister wouldn't have to go through what scorch was going through. The training exercise served to enlighten her about some of her flaws, but it was another step to want and move forward and improve oneself to mitigate, or eliminate those flaws.

Her ability took too long to charge up and had been too easy to disrupt, she wouldn't argue with that. She tended to use it too much too but it was only really reliable once and at the start of a match rather than being drawn out later as an ace do to the fact that she could not hold that charge after damage or build one back up after it had been disrupted unless there was some sort of lull.

She had no training with pyrokinesis either, it had been something that she had been born with and figured out on her own. In other words she had no real mastery over it. She did reflect upon what he said, his tapping of those blades had her looking down at her hand.

Could she do something similar? Could she use her ability as an extension?

“Yes, thank you.” She would have to consider what he said more, knowing herself. She was simple over all, a former pirate captain now a novelty in the arena as a free gladiatrix.

“I will consider what you have said.” She paused thinking a bit. “Do you think I can get a copy of that data? I'm not tech minded but I have a droid that I can practice with. Getting a combat model would be better I suppose since 98 isn't programmed with the use of hand to hand weapons. I could install it in one of them and practice between bouts of other training.”

Lx stood there patiently while the human woman contemplated what he had said. There was no need to rush her in making a decision she would regret later. Then came her request for a copy of combat data, so that she could continue to train between matches, and other training. "I can have a copy of the data made, and sent to you. As for your droid there is no need to buy a combat model, when you can just upgrade and modify the droid you have. What a droid does is based on what it owner wants it to do, much like how the gladiatrix do what there owners want them to do?" It was a harsh comparison. Though he had other things on his mind now that her sparring session was over.

It had probably been a blink, and he was all ready behind her. His hands all ready groping the human woman's firm and modest breasts. His hard shaft resting between her firm butt cheeks.
