I was looking for something a little more basic than Corpus, especially something I could use in the arena. This is what I came up with.

Name: Karasune.

Race: Onitengu.

Description: Onitengu are a nomadic race of chimeric humanoids. They have humanoid torsos, often of unusual skin color. They have fox-like heads, bird-like wings instead of arms, feathered legs ending in talons and three prehensile fox tails. Their wings are slightly longer than equivalent human limbs and end in human-like hands. Their legs are equivalent in length to a human's, and are highly developed and powerful. Their feet sport three wicked talons.

Gender: Male.

Age: 460-ish (middle-aged, but still strong and virile).

Height: 6ft.

Weight: 150lbs.

Body Build: Medium, Athletic.

Eye Color: Black, reflective retinas apear green at the proper light angle and/or in the dark.

Skin Color: Green (torso).

Skin Texture: Smooth (torso); Scaly (lower legs).

Fur (Head): White with red stripes along snout and above eyes. Soft to the touch.

Tails: Three partially prehensile red-furred fox tails 6ft. in length. Soft to the touch.

Wings: Black feathered raven's wings instead of arms; End with human-like hands; 6ft wingspan.

Legs: Heavily muscled thighs covered in downy black feathers; Scaly lower legs with feet sporting three toes tipped with wicked talons.

Cock: 12in length, 2in width. Thick and veiny.

Clothing: White silk outfit reminiscent of traditional samurai style garb, but sleeveless to accommodate wings, and with a wide opening for tails. Green silk covered scabbard tucked into a wide black sash/belt.

Other Equipment:
Kaze-ni-ha: The Leaf on the Wind is Karasune's Katana Soul. It is made of a special green alloy known only to Onitengu weapon smiths that is virtually unbreakable. It's blade is sharp enough to cut silk dropped onto its edge. Its Altairian bamboo scabbard is very strong and still partially alive, allowing it to be used to parry other blades and regenerate nicks and cuts.
Psi-Fan: A white ceramic composite war fan imprinted with green crystalline psychic circuitry. Waving it can create a psionic field that befuddles perceptions. The more out of place the user of the fan is, the less he stands out to those perceiving him. Their minds just won't dwell on the fact they are seeing a fox-bird-man walking around campus (or wherever).

Fighting Styles:
Teng-jutsu: An acrobatic, evasive and tactical Martial Art style with many re-directs and parries often followed by unbalancing attacks.
Kenjutsu: Traditional Japanese swordmanship (Onitengu claim to have taught this to early samurai).
Ero-jutsu: The practice of using light touches and strikes not to wound, but to stimulate sexual pressure points.

Motivation: Adventure, Competition, Lust.

Psychological Profile: Fey and Mercurial. A fun-loving hedonist.

Likes: Sex, Combat, Sake, Wandering.

Dislikes: Dishonor, Losing, Hangovers, Responsibilities.

Sexual Oddities: Likes to make women orgasm just by touching their sexual pressure points with his Ero-jutsu technique

Special Attributes: Each Onitengu is gifted a katana at birth. Though not mystically connected, this blade is said to house the creature's soul. Loss of an Onitengu's Katana-soul is a great dishonor, but attacking the holder of one's Katana-soul is taboo verging on sacriledge. Onitengu will go to almost any other length to recover their Katana-souls.

Distinguishing features: Bears Kaze-ni-ha - the green-bladed Leaf on the Wind. Kaze-ni-ha's scabbard is Altairian bamboo wrapped in green silk.

Behavior: Karasune is always on the lookout for his next adventure and especially his next conquest. He loves to confound his foes with Teng-jutsu, tiring them out before finishing them off. He especially loves to embarass female opponents using no attacks other than Ero-jutsu, making them collapse from sexual stimulation before even forcing them to submit.

Capabilities:
Physical abilities: Good strength (equivalent to an athletic human male). Exceptional agility (beyond human ability), Run up to 30mph, Jump 10ft up or 20ft forward from a standstill, Fly up to 60mph.
Senses: Exceptional senses (canine nightvision, hearing and olfactory senses; avian day vision; simian sense of touch and kinesthetic sense). Ability to recognize and track specific scents. Ability to sense 'ki' lines in human bodies, especially as tied to erogenous zones.

Weaknesses: Katana-soul.

History: Karasune was born on an unnamed planet somwhere in deep space. His species are nomadic wanderers roaming the space ways by whatever means available: many own starships, others have means of teleportation, etc. Like all Onitengu, Karasune was gifted a Katana-soul at birth. Kaze-ni-ha (Leaf on the Wind) is a finly forged blade of a secret greenish alloy. It is sharp and quick and has served Karasune well all his life. Karasune only draws Kaze-ni-ha when the stake are very high. If the green blade is bared, blood must be spilt.

Karasune's life has been one long grand adventure, hopping from spaceport to spaceport by whatever means he could find. He as traveled extensively throught the galaxy: fighting, drinking and carousing as often as possible. Many of his adventures are lost in the haze of overindulgence of Sake (the traditional Onitengu rice-wine - another thing they claim to have imparted to the ancient Japanese). At least until they surface again to cause him trouble.

Karasune has only recently the sector of space where Shokushu is located. He's looking forward to exploring the campus for some relaxation between bouts at the system's arena. Perhaps venture into the wilds of space as well; wherever the Wind takes him. (What do you mean, there's no wind in space!?)

*Revised 9/2/20* Changed Onitengu description, removing reptile legs and monkey tail in favor of more homogenous fox-bird make-up. Added Psi-Fan as a sort of non-disgiuse stealth ability to be able to wander about campus, or other places he might want to go where he would really stand out.

Hah, would totally challenge to a duel of kendo for the fun of it.
