Name: Varghulf Race: A one-of genetic experiment, long since abandoned by it's creators. Now property of the N.I.C.E. Labs. Place of Birth: Tank No. MJB 62, Floor B14, Room 7. Gender: Male Age: Actual age, so we were told, is 25 years. Physically? Well being that he's the only one of his kind, that's a bit hard to say, as we do not know exactly what stage of it's development the creature is in. Mentally? Another good question.. It would appear at times to display acute signs of intellect, while at other moments being nothing more than a ravenous beast. Height: 8'4" Weight: 340 lbs. Eye Color: Red Luminescent Orbs. Skin Color: A brown fur covers it's entire body, save for the flesh-tone sections of it's wings and abdomen. Physical Description Created by mixing standard human DNA, bat DNA, and a hodgepodge mixture of various alien DNAs the Varghulf has features both identifiable and completely alien. Preferring to stand upright the creature still houses powerful forearms allowing it to capably run on all fours, much akin to the standard ape, while at the same time each underarm bore half of a powerful set of wings, allowing the creature means of flight. Aside from these two features, and the fact it's body is covered in a fine coat of fur, the actual body of the creature could pass for human- lithe, though muscular. The similarities end, however, upon seeing the creatures head, which very much is that of a large bat- large, stubbed nose, over-sized, pointed ears, and two tiny blood-red orbs, giving it a rather sinister appearance. This is heightened by the creatures mouth- filled with sharp fangs and a large folding tongue- again another trait handed down from it's bat lineage. The last feature worth noting is a by-product of whatever alien DNA has found it's way into the creature's genes- below it's wings there seems to be a small mound, easily missed due to it's position. Tests have shown that when aroused several tentacles of various length withdraw from this mound, moving to both ensnare and copulate with the Varghulf's chosen prey. Tentacles? Yes! Number of Tentacles: Housed on the Varghulf's back seems to be a repository holding several tentacles, each capable of extending out and around- seemingly holding a dual purpose of both a method of capturing and confining prey while also acting a means of passing along genetic information into another host. Length varies as needed but overall girth seems to settle around three to four inches in diameter. Cock Size: 12 inches long, 4 inches wide. # of Cocks: 1, though the repository of tentacles serves the same purpose. Hunting Style: The Varghulf is a nocturnal hunter, a trait carried over from the bat DNA used in it's creation. It's main mode of attack seems to be a stealthy hunting style- usually keeping hidden in overhead foliage or circling high over it's intended target. Once comfortable and ready to attack the Varghulf will descend with admirable speed, usually hoping to grasp onto it's target with its powerful claws, picking the prey up and taking it to a secluded area for use (whatever it may be). Should the situation present itself, however, the Varghulf has been known to track it's prey on land, using it's powerful arms and legs to make astounding leaps and bounds across both open land and forested areas. Noting the Varghulf's "mating cycle" the human DNA within the creature seems to make the focus of it's attacks human females. Once it has a select target in view it will use the above-mentioned means of capture, either tiring out it's quarry or bringing it to a secluded area. It is then the many tentacles of the Varghulf will extend, trapping it's prey while ravaging it ceaselessly, only stopping once it has fully sated it's need to mate. UPDATE: After an incident involving one of the Lab Techs we have made further conclusions regarding the nature of the Varghulf. It seems the creature has, without our direct involvement, evolved a method of ensnaring potential prey using a powerful pheromone housed in it's saliva. It seems upon catching prey that proves too much of a fight the creature will extend it's tongue, lapping over it's victim, dousing them in a powerful and debilitating secretion. We shall make further notes on this as applicable. UPDATE II: We have had yet another reported incident involving the subject. This time it seems a lab tech has reported hearing strange sounds and voices coming from the subject's pen, yet when questioned about the nature of these noises merely states they are coming "from the creature, but never make any sound". We have records of telepathic powers exhibited from various alien creatures- could the subject share some of these latent genes? UPDATE III: Upon completing a neural scan and further testing we have concluded that, as the subject matures, the center of it's brain associated with learning and reasoning has begun to grow and an exponential rate. Initially, we had noted the creature as having little to no intellect beyond that associated with basic instincts- but these last few months, these last few tests, have begun to show otherwise. Is this creature capable of higher learning? We shall continue our research. UPDATE IV: It seems the creature is capable of some base communication, and more astounding, it seems to be through telepathic means. We shall continue to monitor this seemingly rapid evolution, and in the meantime have ordered the lab techs to wear our specifically designated Thot-Blok Helmets when dealing with the subject. UPDATE V: It seems one of the lab techs got lazy and chose not to wear her Thot-Blok Helmet during today's feeding. The result was... Messy, and due to her carelessness it appears the subject has escaped it's confines. Search will begin immediately for the subject, which we believe has escaped to the nearby islands. It is noted, however, this will give us an excellent means of seeing how our subject acts without the careful scenarios we have set up during our testing. Motivation: Well, the Varghulf is a monster. It has just recently escaped and experienced freedom for the first time in a long time. Before the N.I.C.E. labs it was a larger pen on a space-barge, being subjected to constant experiment, then after that it was off to a smaller pen and, guess what, subjected to more experiment. Throughout all of this, however, it merely waited for the prime moment to strike. They wanted to think it was some mindless beast? So be it, it had no problem acting the part- but it was a thinking being. It could plan, it could even communicate (albeit telepathically), and most importantly it feel the burning desire of revenge. Now that it has escaped it seeks to ravage most anything it can find, holding a especially high grudge against humans due to it's recent bouts of treatment. The unfortunate truth being that, while it would love to target those in the N.I.C.E. labs specifically, any human target will do. Special Attributes: The Varghulf is fast and very strong, maybe not as strong as some of the alien types around, but strong enough to take on most any human. This, combined with it's quiet and stealthy nature, make it an excellent nocturnal hunter. Aside from that, it's saliva also acts as a paralyzing pheromone to humans, capable of sending them into a lust-driven stupor from which they seldom remember. Weaknesses: Being a nocturnal creature the Varghulf cannot stand even an average amount of light. Likewise, being bred of bat DNA and thus carrying their subsonic hearing, and loud noises (think air horn or louder) will disorient and cause pain to him. Miscellaneous:For the time being the Varghulf has made it's lair out of a cliff=side cave near the beach, accessible only from a steep downward climb or, in the Varghulf's case, aerial descent. |
