Name: Raktar No. 263
Race: Raktar
Type: Flesh blob/tentacle monster
Place of Birth: Planet 195-45-342-B

History: The Raktar were discovered by alien races in the jungles of an otherwise unremarkable planet. While surveying the jungle, explorers were frequently approached by long, highly flexible appendages with bulbous tips appearing out of the growth. Though the mandibles did not appear hostile, observation and interaction revealed them to be extremely curious. It was hypothesized that these tentacles were used by some unseen creature to explore the environment and investigate nearby animals, primarily through touch and sound, as demonstrated by their tendency to feel over the environment at random, and their quick responses to audio stimuli. Science teams soon endeavored to locate the central mass of the creature by following the tentacles. However, early efforts were met with hostility by the tentacles which proved themselves to be quite strong. When investigators drew too near to the arms' source, they would frequently wrap themselves around the intruder and lift them into the air before hurling them away. Following early encroachments, surviving explorers also reported a new phenomenon - new appendages appeared which were shorter and thinner, but ended in what appeared to be murky, elongated eyes.

More heavily equipped teams were dispatched to the planet, and in due time the mystery of the creatures was uncovered. The "Raktar", as they were designated, were revealed to be an unstructured mass of tissue, inconsistently formed in nature. Medical examinations and dissections revealed that the creatures do possess organs, but the size, shape, position, and quantity of these organs vary widely from one specimen to the next, and seem to have no influence on their larger body structure. Scientists have determined that the creatures are, instead, better described as a collective of tissues. More amazing, a Raktar is able to grow or destroy its cells at an astounding rate. This enables it to perform many biological feats, such as rapidly changing shape, extending or retracting its appendages, and healing damaged tissue, including skin, appendages, and vital organs.

Raktar have also been observed growing organs which they do not regularly posses. The most common example of this is the "eye" stalks which early exploration teams reported. These appendages do seem to provide a light-based visual sense to the Raktar to suplement their usual senses of touch and hearing. Why these eyes are not typically produced is unclear, but it seems Raktar will create them only when they have a specific subject to observe. Observers have reported seeing other organs by produced, and it is currently theorized that most of these are built from genetic memory. Some facilities have, however, reportedly been able to "teach" a Raktar to produce organs which have not been observed previously or since, suggesting they are capable of some rudimentary form of learning.

Several races have attempted to reproduce the Raktar's cellular regeneration in other hosts, with limited success. N.I.C.E. researchers, however, have found a different purpose for the creatures. After observing the nature and behavior of the creature's appendages, researchers wondered if they could train the Raktar in a new purpose: the capture and rape of human women. The results of their experiments exceeded their wildest expectations. The Raktar required no training to seek out and ravage any woman in proximity to them. While the Raktar would instinctively seek to hide the central mass of their bodies out of sight of any other creatures, their exploratory tentacles invariable sought out the women used as test victims.

Once they found a human female, Raktar would consistently constrict and explore her. This natural exploration invariably lead to the repeated penetration of the subject's vagina, in a fashion highly reminiscent of intercourse. Other orifices, such as the mouth and anus, were also similarly probed. Resistance or compliance by the victim seemed to have no effect on the Raktar's behavior. However, the high-pitched screams of victims did consistently increase the speed and tenacity of sexual probing. The reasons for this behavior is unknown, but researchers theorize that the screams of human women are positively reinforcing to the tentacles' "hearing", and that they will be drawn to such sounds, as well as repeat any behavior which produces more. Researchers have also hypothesized that the tentacles posses a third sense - smell - which is also strongly drawn to the scent of human females, particularly those produced near the vagina when the woman is excited. After sufficient copulation, Raktar will excrete a warm, viscous liquid from the heads of their tentacles. As much as a liter of liquid can be excreted. It is unclear what the purpose of this liquid is. It is known that it serves no reproductive purpose, as Raktar reproduce asexually. However, researchers did note this as a positive.

Following this highly successful testing, many Raktar specimens were requisitioned. Several major alien installations use large swarms of Raktar to deter or capture ADD agents or other female intruders. However, smaller numbers, including 263, have been released on Shokushu to tend to the students in cases when they weren't being preyed upon by the more intelligent monsters there.

Gender: Undetermined
Age: 26 years since spawning
Height: Variable
Weight: Variable
Eye Color: Brown-green when eyes are grown.
Skin Color: Sickly brown, with inconsistent darkness throughout. The shades of a Raktar's skin change, but dark areas fade very gradually into lighter ones, and so they could not be described as "spotted".
Skin Texture: Similar to human skin. Rougher on the central body, softer on appendages.
Number of Tentacles: Many, and more available as needed.
Number of Cocks: Equal to number of tentacles.
Cock Size: Each tentacle can grow to many meters in length, although a Raktar will only use as much of a tentacle in sexual exploration as will easily fit into the subject. Each tentacle has approximately the same circumference as a human forearm.

Fighting Style: Raktar will always seek to keep their main body out of sight. They will lash out with their tentacles if they feel threatened, or if they are trying to constrain a female. Raktar tentacles are extremely flexible and very strong. One tentacle is easily able to lift and throw several tons of material. Their tentacles are quick but relatively blind, relying on tough, smell, and sound. Though a Raktar can spawn many tentacles, its mental attention seems to be split between them. Thus, while a single Raktar can easily corner and overpower an untrained student, even a moderately trained ADD agent should be able to outmaneuver one. For this reason, alien installations normally utilize multiple Raktar to guard a single position.

Motivation: Unclear, but primal. A Raktar's tentacles usually are meant for peaceful exploration, but are consistently drawn to any human female nearby. Once they've made contact with the girl, the tentacles will forcefully restrain and "explore" her, invariable leading to her rape.
Psychological Profile: None - driven purely by instinct and environmental stimuli.

Concerning No 263: Of particular note is Raktar No. 263, stationed on Shokushu High School, which can be identified and tracked by a subdermal chip. Like most observed Raktar, 263 is infinitely curious about its surroundings. Though researchers have not been able to determine how far Raktar will migrate to explore their environment, the answer is clearly "far". 263 is constantly feeling out new spaces in and around Shokushu, although not for the purposes of marking or defining any kind of territory. It seems simply compelled to seek out new places, which has the advantage of leading it to new spaces full of young girls to explore, and new places to surprise them from.

Although seemingly no more intelligent or advanced than any other specimen, this Raktar has demonstrated a surprising complexity of behavior in several areas, most notably in its sexual preferences. 263 seems to be able, through mechanisms as yet unknown, to determine which girls it has previously copulated with. What effect this has on its tendency towards them, however, is inconsistent. In some observed cases, 263 will pursue a new target over previously visited ones. Yet, in other cases, it will almost obsessively stalk and attack victims it has already copulated with. The reasons behind this behavioral flux is completely undetermined, but observers have unofficially described these phases as 263’s “mood”.

Addendum 1: After thorough testing using multiple test subjects, N.I.C.E. researchers have theorized that 263 has developed a low-level psychic ability, which allows it to sync its neural activity with other organisms. The origin of this ability is unknown. However, a number of visitors to Shokushu use similar - if more advanced - capabilities in the assault of students. Researchers have theorized that 263 must have observed these powers in use, and done its best to integrate them into itself. Latent and manifested psychic powers in students (however weak or suppressed) that 263 has personally raped may have also had a part in this development.

Many parameters about this ability are uncertain, and deeper testing has revealed limited additional data. It appears that the psychic link can only be established at close range. Additionally, it develops slowly, requiring 263 to be in proximity or contact with the target for sufficient time.

263 seems to most commonly use this link during sexual attacks on students. It seems to be capable of sensing the thoughts and emotions of the student, including fear, arousal, pain, pleasure, and exhaustion. It also seems to be able to sense the memories of its victims, especially memories of past attacks which are brought closer to consciousness by the present rape. Based on these inputs, 263 will sometimes act out the events of past rapes, or the desires - secret or spoken - of the victim, so long as those involve her sexual defilement. This link is also bi-directional. The victim will often receive stimulation and visions from 263. Notable examples of this include: sight from the eyeball tentacles, usually viewing herself from the third person; visions of her past attackers or rapes; and tactile sensations of infiltrating her own body. In some cases, 263 has also seemed to be communicating directly with its victims via neural link.

NOTE: Officials are taking steps to ensure 263 does not accidentally share classified information it may glean from one person with another. Access to sensitive personnel has been absolutely forbidden, and memetic scanning has been employed to ensure 263 does not learn anything of significance from less critical individuals.

NOTE: All Raktar are conditioned not to severely harm students in the course of raping them. Although 263 can, through it's neural syncing, be influenced by the intentional or unintentional will of its victims, this has only once resulted in the overriding of this directive, leading to the serious bodily harm of a student. (See event long: 263-53). In this case, memories of violent, damaging rapes past from the victim prompted 263 to inflict similar damage on the girl's body. Severe reinforcement of prevention protocols has prevented this from reoccurring since.

Addendum 2: 263's capacity for psychic lingual communication is confirmed. 263 has reportedly "spoken" to a number of students, and even one N.I.C.E. employee. Employee described the creature's "speech" as slow and methodical. He went on to theorize that the creature communicates by rapidly finding the memory of the word it desires in the subject's mind, and stimulates it.

Addendum 3: 263 has taken control of every raktar on Shokushu island. Researchers have determined that it has developed a previously undiscovered ability, allowing it to insert its own cells into the bodies of other raktar. These cells immediately multiply and spread through the victim's nervous system, overriding the native cells and ensnaring the body. These cells then attune to 263's previously documented psyonic powers, forming a neural link through which 263 can control all afflicted bodies with one will. It also seems to commandeer the victim's cognitive capabilities, effectively increasing its mental capacity by using each body in a kind of networked processing unit.

N.I.C.E. did not become aware of this phenomenon until 263 had hijacked every raktar on the island. However, rather than purging the existing population and replacing it with new units, researchers have opted to study this event and document its results. The findings have been staggering. 263 no longer seems to care about the safety or survival of any of its bodies, including its original (determined through still-functioning sub-dermal tracker). Where once it might have shied away from counter-attacks or danger, it now presses forward zealously. Even when one body is forced to retreat, additional bodies are quickly coordinated to continue pursuit of the target. 263 has also been seen using multiple bodies to ensure the success and strength of its assault on students. The range of its neural link seems to have grown as well, and has been bolstered by "relay" bodies scattered around the island, giving it complete area coverage and allowing it to carry out multiple assaults simultaneously. With all of these factors, successful raktar rapes have increased four hundred percent.

NOTE: 263 has also been noted to use multiple bodies to "play" with students, hiding the number of bodies it has engaged from them, but assaulting from different directions and distances to keep them off balance or cut off routes that seemed like escape.

In light of these results, N.I.C.E. has initiated a program to try and duplicate this occurrence in raktar populations stationed throughout the galaxy. Rather than try to reproduce the original mutation in a new host, however, we have opted to extract 263's cells, and manually inject them into other raktar. It is unclear at this moment if this cell therapy will take, given the difference in introduction technique, and the distance from the original host. It's also unclear whether 263's neural link will be able to extend to these new bodies, many thousands of light years away, or if a new neural link will arise, possibly of a different consciousness?

Researcher's note: While many unknowns remain about the experiment, I cannot help but indulge speculation. There is a distinct possibility, even desired goal, that this experiment will lead to the spreading of a biological neural network across planets. While such a network is far from novel, if successful, this would be the first time that N.I.C.E. has manually induced one through entirely biological mechanisms. The connotations of such an act, of willfully giving rise to a new class of intelligence, are staggering, to say the least...

Sexual Oddities: Raktar may also grow other, sometimes more complicated appendages during intercourse with a captured female. Raktar hide their bodies, so their tentacles often appear from vents, pipes, under bushes, etc. Secretes large amounts of liquid into and onto victims as a conclusion to intercourse. This liquid is non-impregnating.
Distinguishing features: So many tentacles.
Behavior: Rapes women with tentacles.
Capabilities: Regenerating/growing/removing tissue, raping women.
Weaknesses: A Raktar's tentacle will often retract into hiding if it is directly attacked. If enough of a Raktar's tentacles suffer damage, they will all retract and the central body will endeavor to leave the area. When a Raktar produces eyes, these can also be attacked by force or light, similar to human eyes. Doing this will significantly disorient a Raktar.
Likes: Feeling things, raping women.
Dislikes: Pain, creatures who are not women.
