After his tantō is released eight tentacles sprout from a mantle mounted on Luppi's back, which he can freely control. His mask moves from the side of his head to form a helmet. They can be rapidly spun like helicopter blades, used to constrict opponents, and can also sprout a cache of sharp thorns from their ends. When a tentacle is cut it can sprout eight more tentacles from where it was severed.
