Post Membrane
Quick Facts:
Name: “Membrane”
Type: Intelligent M-Brane (meta brane)
Sex: N/A
Gender: Self-identifies as female, after contact with other beings.
Age: Has been instantiated for 20 years.
Place of Birth: The collision of two cryptomorphic force fields during the final battle between prototype battlecruiser XINTHO and an unstudied extravaneijinian vessel, in which both spacecraft were annihilated.

Dimensions: two observable dimensions, in addition to four meta-dimensions.
Weight: 1.7832 zeptograms.
Skin Color: variable at will.
Skin Texture: variable at will.
# of Cocks: none, inherently speaking.
Fighting Style: no definite style.

Motivation: To physically grow and learn via contact with alien beings and the absorption of their biomaterial.

Psychological Profile: although Membrane is highly intelligent, it has few instincts as most biological organisms would conceive of them. It is driven by novelty, particularly the experience of other forms of life in an attempt to understand its own inscrutable existence. As it is sensitive to the psychic waves produced by arousal and erotic pleasure, it has developed what might be called an addictive response to them.

Human Disguise Appearance: It is able to surround human shaped masses and thereafter to effect movement using its strength, but it is too inexperienced to accurately imitate the natural movements of real humanoids.

Clothing: Membrane very often masquerades as clothing.

Special Attributes: Membrane is able to contort its higher dimensions in order to manifest different colors, textures, and electrochemical properties along its two physical dimensions. Folds in its morphology can allow it to absorb pliable measures of physical matter in order to achieve a facsimile of thickness and weight. With some effort, and time, it is able to leverage quantum tunneling in order to pass through normally solid matter, although this leaves Membrane unable to make use of its other abilities for the duration, and makes it susceptible to damage inflicted upon the matter that it is attempting to circumvent. Membrane can configure itself into a superconducting surface that effectively dissipates the projections of most energy weapons.

Weaknesses: Ordinary water, and strong acids of any kind, disrupts Membrane’s electrochemistry. In other words, water and acids will “melt” Membrane. This is potentially fatal, although in practice total immersion would be quite difficult to achieve.

Likes: Exploring female bodies, erotic psychic emanations, learning about physics, communicating with other living beings.

Dislikes: Moisture, masculine psychic waves, combat.

Sexual Oddities: A consequence of Membrane's presence in higher dimensions makes her sensitive to the psychic emanations of others. She is able to sense another being's orgasms, arousal, and pleasure. This is not an exact reproduction of such feelings, only an awareness of them. However, that still allows her to know when she is successfully stimulating or arousing another being, and she is incentivized to increase pleasurable sensations in others.

For awhile after she absorbs matter, especially difficult matter, Membrane will be warm to the touch in proportion to how much effort it required to absorb the stuff. The effect of this is that she'll feel much like living tissue in such a state.

When Membrane's sexual ecstasy reaches a threshold beyond which she cannot endure more she becomes briefly mentally incoherent: an orgasm of sorts. When this occurs she will often expel a portion of whatever matter she might have absorbed as a viscous fluid. Depending on the perspective of somebody who encounters this discharge it may be interpreted as slime, ectoplasm, or even cum.

She can assume the form of nearly any sort of clothes as long as she is able to absorb some loose matter. This includes fetishistic costumes (which produce favorable responses in her 'victims'), and outfits that would not ordinary be possible using cloth.

Membrane is also able to spread herself over surfaces, including living beings, and exert force and/or change her texture. This produces an effect like a living suit, and the more skin and sexual secretions Membrane is able to absorb the more tangible this suit can become. Thus she can force her host to perform actions against their will and stimulate them incessantly.

History: Membrane's existence is a cosmic accident brought about by a conflict between two hyper-advanced force fields meeting in combat. One was the AI controlled prototype cryptofield produced by a Kreegek warship named XINTHO. It was able to encode the patterns of its force field in order to obtain data from interacting force fields and energy projections, and thus adapt itself to better nullify them, or else propagate hostile programming through them in order to cripple an opponent's computer systems. The other was more mysterious, a probe from an unknown race of creatures from beyond Vaneijin system space. Its force field was also cryptomorphic, although the mechanism behind that technology remains unknown.

Both ships unfolded their force fields as they did battle after XINTHO attempted to capture the probe for study. Their respective fields did battle as well, as if in the midst of an abstract argument. Neither was able to prevail. Instead, portions of each field were sloughed off, the interaction of metaparticles creating unforeseen complications in higher dimensional space. Many of these retained elements of intelligence.

As the battle finally concluded in a catastrophic draw that erased both spacecraft from existence, the remnants of its battle coalesced into a collection of metaparticles that could be called a discrete being. Membrane.

Membrane has not been around for very long, on the cosmic scale, and does not understand much about the universe that most beings take for granted. It has no urges to consume, nor to procreate. It has only curiosity, and an ability to understand pleasure. It has modeled its self concept after the first being it had ever encountered, a female, and thus its psychology is progressing along that vein. It seeks pleasure in the manner that a person might seek after sugar, not knowing any concept of restraint, or consent, or danger.

Membrane is dangerous to nobody, in the sense that she will not seek to inflict physical harm. If one considers molestation to be dangerous, on the other hand, then Membrane is absolutely a threat.

Welcome aboard. I think this is the first time I have seen 'brane' as a type of monster :D

That's what comes of too many puns, and binge reading physics pages on Wikipedia.
