Background: Born to a middle-class American family, Haley’s life didn’t stand out much until high school, where she excelled in academics and was a captain of the school’s volleyball team. Though it was not her only scholarship option, she chose to attend Shokushu University because of the exotic locale.
Whilst attending Shokushu, she had a fairly normal freshman year and chose to major in psychology, while again focusing much of her attention on volleyball and casual sports. In her sophomore year, however, she was finally noticed by initially one, then many, of the island’s “guests”. Like many students who suffered from attacks, she at first tried to seek help from the faculty, but when she was rejected there she tried to reach out to other students. Though two responded with their own stories, convincing Haley that she wasn’t crazy, the rest of the student body greeted her wild stories with ridicule, disbelief, and emotional abuse. When she, logically, attempted to leave and go back home, the school placed in her in with the “graduates” ahead of schedule, telling the rest of the student body that she had indeed dropped out, while she and several others were abducted by residents and others seeking to make a profit on new slaves.
Unfortunately for Ms. Young, she was not initially intercepted by Directorate forces. Instead, she and two others were abducted by a slaver looking to reshape them in both mind and body into being sex slaves. Haley had to watch as her two classmates were first changed physically, exacerbating their sexual features, and then brainwashed mechanically. With only two transformation devices, she was able to see the slaver’s desired outcome for herself inflicted on her classmates before she was finally affixed into the pod-like device and felt her body being changed. Her smaller chest swelled considerably… her athletic, toned body was softened slightly, though she seemed to gain even more endurance somehow. Before it could transition to her mental preparations, the site was raided by a Directorate team, and the process was halted… though there didn’t seem to be a way to reverse the physical changes that had been inflicted on her.
Without much of a choice, Haley was enrolled as an agent in the A.D.D., despite being a year younger than most cadets. Also in spite of this, she adapted well and thrived in the environment. Once again she showed an interest in interpersonal connections and hobbies and took to her training with ease and enthusiasm. Within two years she had already accumulated some practical field experience and is being trained as an officer.
Personality: Haley is largely outgoing though in a somewhat introverted manner… she enjoys small gatherings and has made friends with not only her fellow cadets and agents but even some top staff among the organization. Even so, a keen observer will note that she manages to spend a good deal of time alone as well, and still displays a bit of uncertainty and anxiety in some high-stress situations, especially in any situation where a human non-combatant is placed in danger. She usually keeps her temper in check and rarely wishes to harm even alien beings, with the exception of slavers. Having comrades around seems to help soothe her anxiety, even if she’s responsible for them, and as such she’s been placed largely in strike teams or group assignments instead of infiltration or solo jobs.

Equipment: Haley is trained in a wide variety of directorate weapons, vehicles, and even a great deal of logistical equipment. She favors smaller, more portable weapons, likely because of her size, and has a slightly customized directorate sidearm. As well, she carries a fairly normal but effective pair of collapsible batons on her belt. While she doesn’t have any personal ship or ground vehicles, she’s fairly proficient in not only piloting a variety of craft but in quickly picking up the controls of any she hasn’t already learned. She most often wears a directorate field suit that, though it accentuates her body a bit more than she’d like, offers enough protection to stop small arms fire and blades, though doesn’t blunt physical trauma across the chest, stomach, or upper legs.
Fighting style: Ms. Young favors a pragmatic approach to fighting… she’ll utilize whatever firepower she has available before resorting to close quarters combat. If forced into such an encounter, she prefers to use blunted paired weapons, such as her batons, tonfa, or sai… usually with the intent of being able to injure or disarm but not kill. If completely disarmed, she’s proficient with standard A.D.D. CQC training, but not particularly skilled at it.
Special Attributes: Body modifications done prior to her acceptance into A.D.D. not only left her with an “idealized” body shape but also modified her nervous system. Her sense of touch and reaction to stimuli, especially when sexual in nature, is heightened. Though her body seems fixed in the shape and condition it is no matter how much she works out (or eats, oddly), she displays an almost superhuman amount of endurance. Again, this can be as much of a curse as a benefit.
