Post subject: | Taimi Linna |
--=Basics=-- Name: Taimi Linna Gender: Female Age: 18 Nationality: Finland Ethnicity: Scandinavian-German --=Combat/Gear/Powers=-- -Trivia- Weapons of Choice: FI Type-1 Teleforce Cannon (Paired), Any Sidearm the ADD Issues. Weaknesses: Taimi largely relies on her Aerogear to fight, and while she has decent CQC training, is usually under-equipped out of Aerogear and isn't /too/ skilled in that scenario. Further, it's possible her control implants could be reactivated by a more tech-savvy foe. Fighting Style: Taimi is best with her Aerogear, capable of using its hover systems for complex feats of maneuvering, such as gravity kicks and aerial takedowns. Other than that, though, she uses her teleforce cannons to brutal effectivness, the heavy weapons battering most targets with surprising force. She usually prefers keeping her distance and extensive use of cover when she can't use her Aerogear, though. -Gear- Equipment: Taimi has a standard array of gear - personal computer, various pieces of mission hardware like scanners and environment tech... but her main thing is the FI Esper-class Aerogear. The Aerogear is that big starfighter-like outfit she's plugged into, and in addition to the telekinesis-amplifying Teleforce Cannons mounted on it, it has a strong antigrav system, and forcefield-based emergency defense/environmental systems. Ship: ...Not much to see here. Taimi was given a vaguely hand-me-down patrol cruiser with not much other than a few main guns, a mid-grade interstellar drive, average handling/defensive performance, and some modicum of space. She can keep a few prisoners on board, has a small cargo hold, a small set of passenger rooms including a handful of quartering rooms and a mess-room, and her personal quarters. The ship can be piloted alone, but a copilot can be quite helpful. -Special Abilities- Bioneural Interface: Taimi was implanted with cybernetics designed to let her operate certain types of equipment mentally. This is how she pilots her Aerogear, and she's been known to use her ship computer this way too. However, this line of communication can be reversed, and is part of how... Control Systems: ...the FI mind-control device worked. Through fairly complex nano-scale computer linkages with her brain, they intended to control her and other 'Dolls' through a central system that continually reinforced conventional brainwashing, suppressed some memories while creating new ones, and generally Messed Her Up In The Head. The ADD has largely deprogrammed her, but it's entirely possible someone could hack into and reactivate the system (Though they'd need to do the heavy lifting of erasing/making memories and so on themselves). Latent Psychic: Taimi was chosen at all because she was born with one of a few genetic indicators of psychic potential - which later bore out. She's usually hardly that powerful - she is aware of minor ESP, telepathic, and telekinetic abilities, but normally can only, say, roll around ball bearings (telekinesis), read the other side of a card she's right next to (ESP), or feel strong emotions around her (telepathy). However, her abilities leave her open to influence (so basically she can be as telepathic/ESP-ey as the Plot demands to get premonitions or sense presences, and is somewhat vulnerable to psychic abilities), and her Aerogear's Teleforce Cannons use proprietary tech to turn her telekinesis into a heavy-weapons-grade form of attack. --=Biographics=-- -Psychological- Personality: Quiet, patient, but a bit immature and meek. Were it not for combat conditioning she'd probably be a scaredy-cat, and is still fairly nervous both in dangerous situations and (hypothetically!) if captured. -Historical- Place of Birth: Tampere, Finland Former Shokushu Student?: Yes. Virgin?: Yes (Believe it or not!) Language: Finnish, English History: Originally a normal Shokushu student, first-year, from Finland... Taimi was probably not going to amount to much. She was slated for being one of the 'chosen girls', but that was taken away from her /very/ quickly. A secretive organization known as the Factoria Initiative manipulated circumstances such as to have her first monster encounter not be a rape... but an abduction. Whether this breach of protocol was endorsed by the powers that be, or a rare slip through the cracks isn't known (and left intentionally ambiguous), but needless to say, she was taken off the market before she was even seriously evaluated for whether she was really good enough for the whole thing. The Initiative worked on her with other girls they took through one method or another, as part of what the ADD figures is an explicitly anti-ADD initiative - using girls as 'Dolls' for fighting and fucking alike, kept in check by cybernetic mind control systems. Taimi was actually in the liminal stage between finishing the first few steps of 'processing', and being put into service, when an ADD raid shut down one of Factoria's facilities and rescued her and a number of other girls. While most of them hadn't been properly equipped or trained, Taimi was one of the few that /were/, and after being approached for the job, she accepted a posting as an ADD agent. --=Appearance=-- I HAVE A REFPIC |
