With the rocks out of the way and an obvious lack of syrictae behind them it didn't take long to realize the mistake she made. And just as she thought she soon heard the mercenary's body land on top of her mech. "Get off!" she yelled through the voice amplifier twisting the pods controls, trying to shake the syrictae from his hold.

All of the mech's thrashing didn't amount to much as the mercenary's sword slid through a crack on its left arm slicing through all kinds of parts, only managing to be stopped as it held against the joint connecting the arm to the main body. With one arm disabled she pointed the other up into the air firing wildly in a desperate attempt to get him off.

Her words obviously were ignored by the mercenary as the mighty sword pierced through the metals and cables, finally getting to the thicker joint between the mech's body and the arm itself, finally slicing sideways to leave it unusable until it had a proper repair later. One weapon less, and it should have become less annoying, but the thrashing and firing was to be expected when a bigger thing got assaulted by a smaller attacker.

Her desperate attempt to get the mercenary off was completely futile. His armor was stuck magnetically to the mech's and no amount of thrashing would ever throw him off unless he wanted to. Two bullets impacted his shoulder and helmet, the rest missing completely and flying through the air and hitting the hills. There was no damage at all, as the visor let Rahs know, and he swiftly rolled on the mech only to swing the sword horizontally, cutting the gatling guns' barrels and jamming them in the process. Maybe if they were very advanced, the guns would eventually keep firing, but to completely destroy that possibility, the sword stabbed downwards again, the mercenary decided to leave the armored vehicle without the large arms.

Her desperate attempts were indeed completely futile as the mech's sensors informed her of the damage to the other arm, the gun barrels banging on the ground before the arm itself stopped working with another cut through the thin crack at the joint area. "Damn it all!" she swore into the amplifier before going quiet having pushed a button on the console opening a hatch at the bottom of the cockpit and slipped out quietly.

Hoping that his obstructed view from the top of the mech would give her a little time she walked between the mech's legs and around the hill behind where the mercenary had snuck up on her. Taking her two energy pistols from the holsters on her hips she quietly made her way up the hill and took a position behind the mercenary, quickly aiming at his head and back before firing wildly.

Rahs was very satisfied as the arm soon fell limply next to the mech's body, the guns stopping entirely and the joint damaged heavily. Fortunately for the agent, the mech could probably be repaired to optimal conditions by an expert mechanic, or if the Directorate treated her good enough, probably even give her a whole new mech for having to deal with the mercenary. Still, it was clear that the armored machine would give him no more problems, specially since the agent left the mech.

He really didn't mind to check whether or not she had fled, and it wasn't until he felt the energy shots hitting the armor he turned around. The rounds would do no major damage, but they impacted hard enough for Rahs to consider them a nuisance. With careful and rapid swings of his sword, he managed to block most of the rounds coming at him, heating the blade thanks to the energy. The mercenary then leaped backwards, taking cover behind the mech for some time until he landed and he then made another cut at the mech's legs, cutting even more swiftly due the heat."There are none before me that have not been defeated..." Rahs said clearly, rising his voice enough so the agent would hear as he then approached the hill where she was, sword ready to try and block the rounds from her pistols.

Man what's with this guy? she asked herself as the shots impacting on his armor finally caused him to turn around seemingly having no effect other than to annoy him. With him facing her now she blinked in surprise as he began to block all of her shots with only the blade of his sword. Not worried as of yet she kept shooting, somehow hoping that she could eventually hit him enough to hurt him.

It was only when he jumped backwards off of the mech that she stopped shooting for a few moments, watching as her mech fell to its knees after the heated blade of the syrictae cut through much of the parts holding it up. Hearing his words as he walked around the disabled mech she yelled back "Well there's always a first for everything!"

As he started walking up the hill she resumed shooting, moving backwards as she did and trying her best to stay away from him long enough to somehow do some damage.

"Yes... But it won't happen today, I'm afraid," Rahs replied to the agent as his feet stepped on the rocks of the hill and his masked face looked up at her, quickly moving up the curve of the hill and towards the agent. She resumed shooting at him, but it was very futile. Her shots would probably hurt more with the old armor, but the new one Rahs wore was designed to resist pretty much everything. It was a syrictae's warrior protection and having it damaged meant something more than just a waste of money on repairing it.

His sword kept blocking most of the shots, some landing next to him and some slipping through his swings and impacting his armor, causing that part of his body to delay him somewhat as it recovered from the blow of the round. But steadily, Rahs kept walking towards her, and it wasn't until he was a few feet away from her that then he charged at her, his sword no longer blocking but instead readying to slice through something. His armor would take the hits if she kept shooting, but at least he would reach her faster and finally deal with the noisy guns with a single blow of the heated blade.

This is ridiculous! Why won't he die? she asked herself franticly still shooting wildly for a few moments as the syrictae moved quickly up the curve of the hill, the steep incline seeming to not effect him at all, and was only a few long steps away from her now. Slowing her shooting down after seeing he was still able to block her shots so easily she waited a single moment before she whispered to herself "Time to run and survive to fight another day!"

And with that she turned away from the mercenary running full speed down the hill only turning back every so often to fire a shot or two at the mercenary to try and slow him down enough for her to get away.

It wasn't very easy to run on the steep curve of the hill, but Rahs was able to keep a good balance thanks to some claw-like pieces on the boots that managed to maintain his body leveled as he ran towards the agent. Just like his sword, his armor was getting heated by her shots, and it would be difficult to move with the hot armor if Rahs didn't do something or cooled the equipment. However, he wanted to take the shot at attack the agent and leaped forward to meet her, but it seemed that she didn't think in fighting anymore, turning around and running away from the mercenary. Running away?

The syrictae was a bit disappointed that the agent was forgetting about her mission and even the fight. Her occasional shots didn't help her much either, causing Rahs just to get slowed down by a second's fraction. It was obvious that he had won and made another agent fail a mission. No feat like that would leave him without rewards, he wasn't going to let her go. The elbow piece of his armor opened up a bit to let a tentacle sprout from his skin and quickly moved through the air and tried to wrap around the agent's waist.

Even as it seemed to the mercenary that she had chosen to run away it was all just a desperate attempt at a ruse to catch the beastly syrictae off guard, although it did her little good as she turned mid-stride, holstering one of her guns, and caught the tentacle in a gloved hand and held it tightly. Having heard plenty of stories about what happens to agents who get caught by the monsterous residences of the Vanejin system she used her new hold to steady him somewhat and used her other gun to shoot lower on his body aiming for his groin and legs to try and get rid of any chance of him having those thoughts.

Still fighting, huh... The agent had turned around somewhat as the tendril headed towards her and with a quick hand she managed to catch it, holding it tightly and trying to use it as a leash for Rahs. As he kept running towards her, however, she revealed to act quickly with her pistol as well and shot at him, aiming for his groin and legs. Rushing as he was, he could have tried to dodge the rounds, but he used to not to try improbable things, noticing how the first bullet impacted right on the armor covering his member, the heat and force slowing him considerably, bending his body a bit due the pain that that bullet and the others caused as they hit him on his armored thighs and knee, later causing him to stop completely.

Only three bullets managed to hit him, since the sword once again twirled in the air, blocking the rest of the bullets. The mercenary then made part of its length then coil around her arm since she was already holding tightly. This would prevent her from just letting go and escaping, and then he tried to prove how much that dark blue suit helped her against his electricity, going for the thing most possible to fail. A strong electric current flowed through the tendril towards her hand, and even if she was protected against it by her glove, he would then simply pull her towards him forcibly.
