Before Ryu could answer her question, the plug had been twisted again, forcing it to drill deeper while she let out another desperate cry. She felt weak, broken, a heat welled up within her which may have been caused by shame or anger, it didn't matter at all. Leriana was focusing most of her attention on Ryu, rather than the book she appeared to be studying. The book was just another tool, something that would throw Ryu off balance. She looked like she was reading it, but she wasn't really paying any attention to the words. It was just a prop to unsettle Ryu, and juding by her reaction to the book it had worked. Leriana had spotted the brief flare of panic before Ryu got it under control, and even when Ryu's body had fully recovered due to the drug Leriana continued to appear to ignore Ryu. The red head was, quite literally, left hanging and forced to wait for Leriana to decide to do something.

Several mintues of silance passed before Leriana looked up from her book. She closed the book after leaving a book mark on the page and rose, leaving the book on the ground next to her. She walked over to the control panel, letting Ryu hear her foot steps. A few button presses later and the floor beneath Ryu retracted to the sides and a wooden wedge rose from it in line with Ryu's exposed lips.

The wooden device rose slowly, letting Ryu see it coming. With her body bound the way it is she can't really struggle to stop it, all she could do is delay. Ryu thought it wouldn't do her any good to struggle, but this was just horrifying. Leriana let Ryu hang like that for little bit before she walked to the wall and selected a whip.

She let Ryu hear her footsteps as Leriana drew closer to her, coming to a stop two feet behind her. Leriana drew her hand back silently for a strike, and flicked her wrist towards Ryu with practised ease. Whips were something Leriana had found natural for her to use, and she had reinforced that by spending some of her spare time down her just practising using it on a wall. She slowly slid back into her earlier position, though it was painful to move her latest position wasn't as comfortable as the first. When she reached it in a brief moment she awaited the next stroke if it would come. After all she deserved punishment.

Leriana was quite pleased by Ryu's cries, by the pain and fear she heard underlying them.
