I am sure you will find a place to hide. It is a big island after all.

When it comes to animals, I have always assumed that some animals that are beneficial to the ecosystem (birds, insects etc.) may have been imported, but that there are no large land dwelling ones. Seems realisic in an island setting too, I think.

Specifically, this sentence: The island is simulated to be an exact replica of an Earth environment. The island is covered in lush, tropical forestry, volcanic structures and mountains, and sandy white beaches surrounded by crystal blue waters. There is however, a notable lack of animal life on the island.


Personally, I think that any jobs done by animals, such as pollination, are done by tiny robots from the Labs.

Well, if the labs are involved, I would not be surprised if the "insects" were actually tiny tentacle monsters, molesting the inocent little flowers ;P

In terms of animal life, I'd just kind of assumed that the little details like that were flexible depending on the needs and preferences of the players. I know I've referenced birds singing in at least one of my posts.
