"I'm sure we can manage to work out something with the bed." We might even sleep in it eventually. Her own voice had the same note of faux-innocence as Ryu's, not really hiding her thoughts on the matter.

The other girl's response to learning that Susan was a morning person caused a genuine sigh of relief; she had heard stories of couples breaking up due to completely incompatible sleep-wake cycles, but that clearly wasn't going to be a problem here.
