"You know what's funny?", she asked as she went towards the door again. "Whenever I compliment on your appearance or something else, you always try to let it appear less than it is." Ryu smiled a bit as she turned around to her lover again. "Great, we don't want to lose any time then, now do we?"

The Sports Field was lit up by the sun as it burned down on the open area, though some trees spent shadowy places for about fifty percent of the tracks. A light breeze sent a slight chill down Ryu's spine, so it wouldn't be as bad as she thought in the beginning. There were in fact a few other students who had a picnic at this point, they were having a nice time laughing and joking at the side of the tracks. The impact noises of something could be heard, perhaps some others were playing volleyball or even soccer, but the tracks themselves were fairly empty.

As they arrived Ryu began to stretch her legs to warm herself up, her curves obviously revealed to everyone who took the chance to look at her, but Ishtar would appear the same if she did anything to get ready. A short glance went to Ishtar as she figured she would have to talk while jogging. "You can set the pace if you'd like."

Ishtar did take the opportunity to stretch her legs and waist a bit. The blue haired student wanted to make sure she didn't pull her a muscle while they while they were jogging She took a moment a while to admire her red headed partner as Ryu was preparing for the run. As she did so, Ryu suggested to her pick the pace.

Thank you Ryu. Ishtar started off at a slow jog. I like to start off at a slow jog and then pick up the pace later. Ishtar could feel the cold breeze blow through her hair. All around she could hear the room other students playing various games or enjoying each other's company. However, the two of them alone on the track and that is the way Ishtar preferred it. Thanks for inviting me out for a jog, it is a really nice day.

A pity she did not bring a headband because she disliked the fact no hair covered her forehead as the wind blew through her hair and it floated around like a windvane, of course at their pace it wasn't as bad. "I knew you would like it, quite a relief to go outside after these exams. My results are even better than the last ones I had back in my other school, thanks to your ways to motivate me." She glanced to Ishtar as she could only smile while spending time with Ishtar.

Then the other thing finally popped up in her mind again, another reason why she intended to meet the blue haired beauty again. "Oh, and by the way, do you know the rumors about the monsters here?", she asked as if she never really heard of them. "You know, the things the seniors tell the freshmen at the beginning of the year? Quite peculiar, eh?"

Ishtar smiled, I am glad to here it. You are as smart as she you are beautiful. Ishtar was happy that she was able to her lover do so well in school. The girl had worked hard to get her marks and had done well.

It was then Ryu asked the blue haired student if she had heard rumors. Yes, I have those rumors myself. I believe they have given me nightmares of encountering such creatures. Ishtar paushed a moment before spoke again. And the nightmares sometimes seem so real to me, it is really eerie. Ishtar shook her head, as swiss cheese as he memory was. I simply can't get the images out of my head.

Ryu decided to get straight to her point, but she intended to ask Ishtar later about her own marks. However, to mention her happiness might make everyone realize that she finished off her first part of the school year fairly well. "Oh please, I am going to blush if you say that." Her comment had been accompanied by a smile, but she was quickly back on topic again.

If Ishtar even remembered the tiniest bit about her encounters and the fact they were real, another question would possibly let her remember more, but the red head would have to try. "And what would you do if these nightmares were real? Any ideas what you would do about them?", she asked curiously as they kept their pace, even if they kept talking they wouldn't get tired so fast. "Because I am not sure if I should count them as nightmares so far."

No, you are the one dream that I never expected. Ishtar smiled as they talked and jogged. She wanted to let Ryu know how much she meant to the blue haired student. However her face became serious as she thought about Ryu's question. I suppose that if they were real, I would try to do something about them. I would do all that I could to expose the creatures and try to find something that would help protect us. Ishtar shook her head as some of the images flashed into her head. They seemed so real, but they disturbed her greatly.

Ryu let out a sigh as Ishtar revealed her thoughts about the monsters. However, it seemed like something put pressure on her, maybe the simple thoughts about them. "What if I would tell you they were real?", the red haired student suddenly said, out of nowhere and straight to the point. "What if I remember everything and you don't? And what if I know they... raped both of us already?" She let that sink in for a short moment, but she wasn't finished at this point. She wanted to say everything in, if possible, not more than one breath and with a serious face. "Would you believe me?"

Ishtar nodded her head. I would believe you, because you told me they were real. Your statement would be all that I would require. Ishtar shook her head as if she was trying to get the images out of her head. I had been having nightmares...or I thought they were nightmares...or my mind had made believe they were nightmares. But they were most vivid I ever had. Ishtar body shook a bit. I can't believe they have been preying on us like that.

"Unfortunately it's the truth, even if I must sound like a crazy lunatic.", she said in return as she slowed down a bit. "Are you all right? We don't have to keep talking about it if it makes you feel uncomfortable." One of her hands reached out towards the girl's shoulder, gently patting it for a brief moment after Ishtar's body shook a bit. "But hey, always look on the bright side, you might not even remember this conversation in a few days or weeks." Ryu seriously had no idea how that would cheer Ishtar up anyways, maybe it made everything worse for both. "But... I thought about it for some time already. We could do something about it, we simply need to exercise and 'expose them', as you have said so aptly, so we can protect ourselves and don't have to look out for someone who does that job."

Ishtar felt a bit reassured when she felt the red head hand on her shoulder. At least they were in this together. So how do you suggest we expose them? Do we get camera if possible? Ishtar wasn't still fully sure she wanted to believe what she was hearing, but everything Ryu had said so far matched what little her swiss cheese memory would allow. Well what ever we decided you can count me in.

"I am glad you posess this point of view.", she said as her hand returned to herself. It was a good thing to have Ishtar around, not just because she was interested in helping. However, she had to think about the whole story as she considered what to do about it. "I don't think cameras will work though. They are valuable goods around here and even if we could get enough of them it would take us a lot of effort to keep an eye on every single one."

"However, the first thing we have to keep in mind is that we are not the only ones, so others might have informations that are useful for us, too. It's not all about fighting, it's about avoiding possible issues and we should focus on that before we plan anything out." Ryu stopped for a moment, to let it sink in mainly as she raised an eyebrow. "Do you have a roommate yet? I was uncertain earlier, but if you don't you should consider to look out for someone. I know, it doesn't give you much more safety, but at least they pick up on loners commonly."

Ishtar thought about it for a second, I have just recently have found a roommate. Her name is Bala Gavaskar. She is a pretty nice roommate. Ishtar began to think about avoiding issues comment. So avoiding possible issues? What do you mean by that? Avoiding places where we would be alone?

"Isn't she the leader of the book club..? She seemed pretty nice, a good choice, your stay will be pleasurable with her.", she said, rather thinking out loud than actually talking to Ishtar. "We should always avoid being alone. But no, what I mean is that we should not draw much attention towards ourselves and what we are doing and, of course, to stay away from places where they attack commonly. I am still gathering ideas, I mean, the campus is way too huge to obtain control over, but we could at least set up a few cameras, as you said, on paths which are in use fairly often." Ryu crossed her arms in front of her as they most likely were not going to jog forever, so she stopped. "I prepared some notes already, they are in my room, at least they give me a slight hint of where these creatures 'hunt'. Perhaps I could make a map or something else. Everything is just a work in process now, but we have a long stay here."

Ishtar also stopped just after Ryu had stopped. You are right we should be careful and take this slow. If we move too fast the monsters may catch on to us. I guess right now we just want to gather as much information as possible. Ishtar looked around briefly before turning her head back to the her jogging partner. So you say you have notes already on some of the monsters. May I take a look at them?

As Ishtar mentioned her interest in her notes, it hit something like a hidden nerve. "Um, sure, those would be mainly monsters I encountered, and a few others from other... 'sources'. I wrote down names, attributes and other miscellaneous features. And, most importantly, the places I met them." She paused briefly before her cheeks slightly reddish. "I even made a few sketches for each one of them, recognition might be easier then.", she said, most likely into the blue as her red eyes turned to Ishtar. "Though I planned to spend time with you normally for at least a few minutes, we could go back to the dorms and I will show you everything I have so far."
