She gave an apologetic smile and shook her head. "I remember dances by form and music, not name. I'm sorry." Once again she felt her eyes drawn over her partner's shoulder, her eyes squinting as she saw a man walk through a spotlight and his skin seemed to glitter somewhat. She turned her head elsewhere and saw another man, just as handsome as the last, step into the light for the briefest of moments and his skin would turn slightly green. A shudder ran through the girl. Even if she was dooming herself, secluding herself just to be attacked, she'd rather it be by one monster then several. "Can we, uh, leave please? I'm a little uncomfortable, in, uhm... Large crowds." Smooth lie, Diana berrated herself.

Edward smiled and nodded. "I understand, milady... you are more of a visual person.... remembering things based on things that you can see. That is one way to learn about things, I suppose." He said a bit thoughtfully as he danced with her.

In the corner of his eye, Edward noticed that the light had briefly cast away the illusions of the monsters here, and after listening to his partner's wish, he smiled to himself. Well, who was he to dishonor a request from a lady? After all, he wanted this one alone with him, with no inclination to share, since she intrigued her.

Nodding slightly, he said. "Of course, milady. Your wish is my command." He soon led her to a small alcove, far from the main prying sights of many. If his calculation and the schedule did not change, it was only time for the curtain to this farce to be brought down... and the true 'festivities' will begin in earnest.

You'd have thought that her breathing would have eased, but the girl was still high strung despite being in the darkness of the small alcove. She hugged herself and quivered physically, seeing things move in the darkness of every shadow. She glanced to her companion and smiled at him sadly. "Sorry for all of this trouble, I think I'm just being paranoid," she sighed the last word out, her fingers running through the blond bangs covering her forehead. She pressed her back against the cool, stone wall of the alcove and closed her eyes, taking in deep, cool, night air.

Edward just smiled and shook his head at her words. "Paranoia is something that we all experience, time to time I suppose. And like I said, it is no trouble at all. I dislike seeing anyone in distress, whatever the reason."

He soon released a bit of his calming aura, hoping to help her a bit, and to ease her nervousness as well.

She sighed and closed her eyes for a few moments, trying to regain her composure. She felt her mind become eerily, yet not uncomfortably, clear. Breathing in through her nose, and letting out the air in a drawn out sigh, Diana opened her eyes once again and smiled to Edward. "I'm fine now, but thank you. Did you want to head back to the dance floor? I'm sure this isn't exactly your idea of a fun night." A weak smile flashed over her lips.

Edward chuckled and then shrugged as she made the decision and said. "Suit yourself, milady... I do not mind escorting you back to the dance hall, but I think we had better stop in front of it, and see what is really going on inside, before you make your decision."

He smiled to himself as he knew that the signal would be given soon, and then the real fun would begin. The question is, what will she decide when she sees the scenes that is going to unfold in front of her later, he wondered.

Diana felt a tingle on the nape of her neck, that tingle that she recognized as her instincts warning her about something. She took a deep breath into her lunges and nodded. "Alright, lets go." She should be enjoying herself, prom was supposed to be the ultimate school experience. Diana's breathing slowed and she did her best to calm herself. She took the man's hand, sliding her fingers inside of his. She looked up into his eyes as they began walking, trying to gauge if she trusted him. If she could trust him the rest of this night. She wanted to, yearned to be able to trust someone male finally. She knew that upon her return to society she'd be scarred thoroughly by this school. The things she'd experienced here were mind boggling to say the least. As they walked, her eyes return to looking straight ahead, but those glass-like blue orbs looked distant.

Edward nodded as he escorted her close to where the entrance to the prom hall was, and he stopped, letting her have a glimpse at what happened inside. By this time, the signal has been given as the lights were turned off, and the monsters inside had stripped away their human disguises and began to partake on the students, who were taken by surprise.

What transpired in front of her eyes would be described as an orgy of sorts, with many tentacles or alien beings fucking the students, tentacles and cocks pumping in and out of the girl's orifices. He then said to her. "Let me ask you again, milady... are you positively sure that you want to be a part of that?"

A yelp of despair tore from the woman's throat. She threw herself against the man beside her, clinging to him with all her might. She buried her face in his shirt and wept. She wept hard until suddenly... Suddenly she realized who she was embracing. Her eyes widened and she threw herself from the man, shock making her lose her balance. The girl tripped over her own dress and fell onto her back side. Desperately she scrambled away from him. "What are you?" She whispered fearfully, her arms crossed across her chest protectively. Her back was now pressed against a pillar.

Edward just held the young woman in her arms to comfort her... and then she quickly drew back, and he had to restrain himself from chuckling as she tripped on her dress and fell on her butt. He then smiled at her and said. "When I say I am noble... I did not lie to you, milady. But the only thing is... I am a noble of an outwordly realm."

He removed his clothing and his form rippled as he turned back to his werewolf form, and bowed to her. "Edward Silvar... heir to the Silvar and Martlett family of Makai... at your service." He said cordially to her.

Diana bit her lower lip and felt tears streak down across her cheeks. She was far too in shock to move. Run! She told herself, but her body wouldn't listen. Get out, run while you still can! All she did was cry. Cry and quiver in horror. Her eyes never closed, they were always on the shimmering and rippling wolf. Its thick mane captured the moonlight's shine and it seemed to glow eerily. Its fangs were made all the more vicious looking by the moonlight streaking across them. Diana's reaction to his announcement was to simply stare up at him in awed terror.

Edward regarded the young woman as she cried silently, frozen in terror as she beheld his true form. There was a mild sense of satisfaction that their kind can always do this to humans, but part of him demanded him to do something.

He then spoke as he released his calming aura once more around him, enveloping her once more. "Calm yourself, milady.... I have no intention of harming you tonight. Of course, should you choose to resist, I will have no qualms about taking what I want by force... something I wish to avoid if possible. You are under my protection for the night, and you have to pay the price for that protection... or would you rather be tossed to that pack of rabble?" He said, motioning towards the inhuman orgy that is taking place in the halls.

Her quivering began to slow and her head shook as he asked his question. She curled up and glanced down at her feet, knowing that the alternative to this was not much of an alternative. She stands up shakily and glances up at him. "Can we at least go... Somewhere else? I don't want to be a part..." She tilts her head in the same direction. Her body, despite her mind slowly calming down, a warmth blossoming in her head that's dulling her thoughts, is still quivering in fear and, although she'd never admit it, anxiety.

Edward nodded and said. "Ver well then... as the lady wishes." He then drew her into his arms, and then said. "Hold on tightly... this is going to be quite a wild ride. You may close your eyes if you are not ready for this."

He then took a ready stance, and then clutching her close to him, making sure that she was comfortable and secured, he swiftly moved into a run, making his way away from the prom hall and into a small grove not far from the hall itself before letting her down. "You may open your eyes now. We have arrived."

At the same time, he threw up a barrier around them, to make sure that she is unable to run, and he left undisturbed as he carried out his business for the night.

Diana blinked a few times when she was whisked into his arms, yet could not muster the will to push herself away from the warm, hairy torso. Suddenly the air accelerated, like a strong wind was lashing at my face and whipping my blond hair all around. My eyes then looked ahead and I realized from the blurry images flying by that the person carrying me was moving with a speed I'd never thought possible by anything with two feet. Diana fell on her rump and blinked her eyes, readjusting to everything being still. She shook her head and ran her fingers through her hair. "Where... Are we?" Her slight magical sensitivity tingled slightly as the barrier was erected.
