Other than the fact the man did appear to have a rather strange appearance, he didn't seem nearly as fearful as Ryu had expected a person to be who was in command of men who nearly raped and killed her. If Bryce hadn't told her certain things and the men wouldn't look like those who were to get the sword, the woman would have a hard time to see him as a threat.

"Um .. yes .. of course." Walking towards the offered seat with the same grace as usual, she thought briefly about the offered liquid. "Why yes, I'd like a drink .. thank you.", she finished with a smile as she sat down in the chair, a bit uncomfortable since she guessed who he might be. He didn't touch her though, thus she felt better with her situation than it likely was.

Her eyes rested upon the hound at his feet, an alsatian would probably stand in its shadow, at least she guessed so as she compared the size. However, she wasn't going to adress the matter why she was to see him and waited for him to give her the drink she had accepted, like a bright girl would in presence of a demon.

"Fredrick ..." there was no need for him to finish since the larger man went over to the bar here and fixed a glass of wine that he sat down before Ryu at the table before fading into the background.

The man in white patted the head of his hound before turning towards Ryu. "You'll have to forgive the accomodations they were hastlily thrown together. Tonight should find that you fair better." He paused taking a drink then smiled softly. The smile faded from his lips as soon as it came.

"I thrust my lackeys weren't too rough with you transportation here. They tried not to wake you, even used clooraform to that end so as not to disturb you. Of course, they were unable to find your husband. Prithee, were is he?"

"Thank you very much." While it was the man who had slapped her awake, she wasn't angry at him and could form a smile with her lips. Grasping the glass gently, Ryu took a sip of the liquid as it was led towards her mouth. It was sweet, unlike any cheap or strong drink she knew it certainly had a unique taste.

The mention of better quarters for her that night sounded wonderful, although he probably had personal intentions for her to give his captive such a gift. Ryu put the glass back on the table as he carried on with a question.

"I beg your pardon. But the last time my husband honored me with his presence .. that must have been a few days ago. It was late, probably night time. I can't recall where he went, he was gone before I woke up at dawn." Ryu was telling the truth, as far as she could remember she had no idea where he went and since she woke up in a room that belonged to this man he was in fact gone before she woke up there. At least she didn't sound like she was trying to lie to him, quite an advantage as long as she wasn't certain what he was up to.

"A pity, I was hoping to catch up with him. It's been so long ..." he took a sip of his wine as he gazed at her from above the rim of the glass. Next he pushed his glasses back up his nose. "Little bother, I am sure he'll catch up with me at his convience.

"I cannot imagine where he's gotten off to though. In any event times have proven dangerous ... shall you honor me with your presence until he returns from whatever business has taken him away?"

He seemed quiet cordial for a demon, if infact this was Razel.

It seemed very unlikely that he, whether Razel or not, expected her to reject and at about the same level Ryu thought about rejection. She wasn't going to find out who she'd spend time with once he wasn't with her anymore, her eyes settled on the men for a moment before returning to her conversation partner.

"It'd by my honor to do so. Personally I wouldn't think that my presence honors anyone, but I consider the idea most flattering." Ryu smiled warmly at the man, he seemed to be more handsome, or treacherous, than others thought. Raising her glass, she was accommodating enough to take another sip of the drink.

"Excuse me, sir? I .. I suppose my dear Bryce won't be here anytime soon, so I was wondering .. what we are going to do while we wait .."

"Oh you underestimate yourself," his eyes followed her own flicking over those present before resting back upon her. He took another sip of his wine and let it wash slowly over his tongue before placing the glass back down.

His eyes flickered back towards her and a small smile touched his lips. "No, I don't suppose that Bryce will be back anytime soon but he shall come here. What husband would not? To meet there beautiful bride, such an understatement at that.

"In the meantime though, I ask are you a conossieur of the arts? There is a concert not to fair away where an orchestra will be conducting Beeethoven's Fifth. There are other matters that can be touched upon though if you are disintrested in such matters."

Whatever his game, the man seemed anything but a demon. He seemed exceedingly coordial in his dealings with her thus far though like most demons he held his cards close to his chest so to speak refraining from revealing his wants or desires as of yet, though some may have been guessed at.

She awoke here, his "guest" and seemed to bring up the fact that he was waiting for Bryce. Coupled with what Bryce revealed to her it could have been likely that he was waiting for the other and her presence guaranteed that he would deliever himself into his waiting arms. A chance of plans? Didn't one of his men say that he, if he were Razel anyway, wanted her dead?

"No, no it's perfectly fine, I might not be a conossieur of the arts but as a matter of fact I did attend the orchestra back in Italy quite a few times .. but unfortunately I never found the time to cover Beethoven. So don't be afraid, your proposal sounds intriguing."

Once more she tasted the liquid, feeling slightly giddy as she had emptied half of the glass, putting it back on the table since she knew it was already enough for her standards. With a smile however she rose, eyes travel down her form as she did analyze the white gown she woke up in.

"There's nothing I'd prefer over the orchestra, but I am not sure if this is a proper attire .. What do you think?" With a smile she spinned slowly, him having a good look at her curves and how the cloth did hug her form as usual. Still, she wasn't thinking about him as a demon. "If it's fine, I think it's better we don't lose any more time."

"Oh, there's one more thing .. Perhaps I'm still a bit drowsy, but I can't even recall your name. Would you kindly tell me once more?" It served the purpose to find out who he truly was, or he could just give her a fake answer, it wouldn't matter. As long as she wasn't harmed it was fine although he might simply use her as a bait for the angel covered as a human.

His eyes slid over her form as she twirled around, a small smile resting on his lips as she did so making it obvious that he indeed liked what he saw. Still as his eyes lingered upon her he rose to his feet taking a few steps closer as he continued to inspect her, his eyes panning up and down the curves of her body.

"You fill it out quit well. I see no need for you to change into something else though if you like I could have something specific taken from your wardrobe at your estate or perhaps have something altered. I have various garments on hand and can have a tailor altering them to your measurements. You're rather large in the chest so I doubt they would fit as is. Either way, we do have time before the performance."

He grinned though his grin faded slightly when she feigned light headiness and asked for his name. It was only a momentary slip though before it sprang back up onto the features of his comely face. "Alfred, Alfred Razel."

He paused, studying her for any sort of outward response, or perhaps he was just waiting on her answer to his question.

Razel .. oh .. oh dear. "Alfred Razel .. I .. " Knowing she would be better off if he wouldn't notice, a mild smile was offered to the young man. Ryu reached up to her face, cupping her own cheek as if embarassed for a moment before she resumed with the topic. "You're going to make me blush when you keep saying such things."

"Oh well, since we've got some time, I'd consider wearing one of your garments, or at least examine your collection. I wouldn't want to arrive there in anything but the most appealing for you, it's an orchestra but it would add a little fun if we'd make the other men envy you." Indeed, although she shouldn't be aiming for this, it was part of her to compete with the other women that'd surely be there. Additionally he had asked her to honor him with her presence, a charming dress would certainly not disturb him.

"And .. I like to dress up once in a while." The woman smirked faintly, giving the impression that she was perfectly fine. However, she was simply going to play her role as a proper 'guest'.

He smiled bak, a smile that had not reached his eyes fully for they failed to twinkle beneath the lens of his glasses as he gazed at her. Though if he was as long lived as Bryce perhaps there were few things left that would make him truly smile.

"I only speak the truth." He turned to the rather plump man. "Get Jakob."

He left returning with a tall slender man that was bald save for the little hair at the back of his head and sides of his scalp. His eyes, once a vibrant blue, were now gray and his nose was long and hooked like an avian's beak.

"Show Ryu here the attire we have on hand."

Jakob nodded, made a sweeping gesture with his hand and lead her away down a hall. He opened the door to a room, lit the lamps near the doors an illuminated a large room rich with mannicans adorned in all manner of dresses and gowns of the latest fashions. Some where rather old too and others quite dated but in all there were perhaps hundreds, maybe even thousands of garments to choose from.

"Alfred has quiet the collection. He has another room dedicated to masculine attire in his size." Jakob announced as he followed down the isles between mannicans with her.

As Ryu followed Jakob into the room and the man lit the lamps, she took in a deep breath or rather a gasp as her eyes settled on what the lights had revealed. A wide variation of clothing for such an event, probably others as well, but she didn't have such things in mind. It was all about spending time with someone or something else than the demon, he made her feel uncomfortable. "I bet he's prepared for such occasions then isn't he?"

Quite a few pieces were pleasant to the eye, but they were either past her imagination or did not fullfil the requirements at all. While she walked past the mannequins, her eyes roamed over every dress and gown, perhaps to her frustration as there was none that'd suit her but she wanted to be kind. After all he had offered her to change.

Then she found it, asking Jakob to stop for a moment as she did investigate the piece. Ryu decided to keep it in white, too, having the bright appearance it'd give her. Never taking a second guess, she turned to the man. "I'd like to try it on. I doubt it'll fit so I guess someone has to alter it .. if that's not a problem. Or perhaps you have a suggestion yourself?"

The white gown didn't differ much from her own, perhaps it'd fit her as well as the one she wore at the time. About as tight around the waist and hips, it seemed like it'd proudly display her chest since there were only a few strings that kept the upper body closed, finished off by a knot at about the top of her cleavage. Although this one did have straps around the shoulders, it didn't have any sleeves. Last but not least, the lower part was kept simple, not ruffled or anything though it wasn't as wide as the red gown she had earlier.

In her opinion everything around would look good on her, but for the time being she waited for Jakob's response.

"Oh, Alfred is a bit frugal. He has been married a few times though tragedy has a way of following him." Jakob went on. "The last passed away during the outbreak of a plague. In any event he kept the clothing of each here, just in case, I presume."

When the pair came to the white garment he smiled as he looked over the material. "An excellent choice. I could let it out a little in the front your bust is larger than Maria's though it does not appear that I have to do much else with it. Come, I'll do some simple measurements and alter the material it shouldn't take too long before you can try it on."

After taking her measurements Jakob worked on the garment dilligently. So much so that it fit like a tee when she tried it on much to Jakob's credit since he had a little more work to do on the piece than he had initially believed he would. Though now his eyes swept over the finished product.

"Lovely. Abolutely lovely." He appraised the garment on her as he slowly walked around her to take it all in. "Do you wish for anything else? A place to affix your hair perhaps?"

Going through the whole procedure, Ryu was glad to find herself in the gown she had chosen. While her eyes did follow him as he seemed excited about having someone wear his piece, she was obviously checking it too. Although the thought of wearing another woman's dress was odd, she figured it'd be better to wear a familiar piece the demon would recognize.

"It looks absolutely gorgeous, Jakob. You must be a master in your art. I can't imagine that it could look any better on me, thank you so much for paying that much attention to it." Offering the man a warm smile, she thought about the thing he asked next. Personally she liked her hair the way it was, but maybe it was time to try something new.

"Yes, please. I've always been wondering how curly hair would look on me .. Do you think we could do something about it?" Other than that she couldn't imagine a thing she might be able to adjust, possibly fitting footwear and accessories but that was about it. Likely he had something in store for her already.

"Thank you, you are too kind," the tailor of a dozen years answered modestly. He lead Ryu to a large room containing a mirror, desk and chair. There had been all sorts of things here mostly make ups and the like and while she was busy fixing her hair Jakob excused himself dipping out of the chamber.

He returned some time later as she was just finishing up with a pair of sapphire colored shoes. Rhine stones had been on them causing them to glitter when the light reflected off of them. He presented those to her.

"I took a stab at your size, hope these fit though there are several others to select from if they don't. These usually go well, an eye attractor at balls and the like. Of course were you'd be I doubt that you'd have the opportunity to show them off all that much."

Ryu wasn't used to alternating her hair in a way she wanted to, but she wasn't someone to give up either. Taking advantage of the various utensils, she took a seat on the chair in front of the mirror, then began to improvise. Of course it did work out, she had watched other students back at the campus who did this commonly.

Soon her smooth and unruffled hair was turned into almost perfectly curled one, although her forehead was covered with her usually flat hair, parted on the far right so it would drift away to the left but not completely covering her deep, red eyes. The curls weren't as many either, only a few so to speak as they were descending her front and back. She ended up searching for ear rings in between and found a pair of silver ones consisting of two fragments, the lower one adorned by an oval ruby which danged from her earlobes.

Right about time, Jakob returned and she could only smile in response to what he brought with him. Carefully reaching out so the shoes wouldn't fall to the floor, she gazed at them with bright eyes. "Thanks a lot, again. They are stunning, wait, let me just- .. " With this she began to exchange them for the pair she was wearing, not nearly as fantastic.

Once done, she was taking in the subtle details in the mirror, in all of her splendor. "They are perfect, it doesn't matter if they can't be seen at all. At least I know I am wearing them. That'd be all I need then .. would it be agreeable to return to Alfred now or do I have to wait somewhere?"
