"So, later then?"

Susan was experiencing her own rush of emotions similar to Pia's, even if it didn't show quite as obviously. She wasn't worried about seeming too clingy, but did have a fear that something would take Pia from her the way Malina had been taken. She smiled back, trying not to let her worry show. "Yeah, I'd like that. A lot."

"I guess I really got to go now.."

"Mm. So, see you soon? I hope."

"Yeah..", Pia said, shuffling her feet like she was undecided what to do. She wanted to stay, she wanted to go."Later. We will see each other later. This uniform is yours, remember? Gotta return that.."

She grinned a little. Then, quickly, as if she fared she might not dare if she hesitated, she made two tiny steps, suddenly close to Susan and gave her a brief hug, quietly inhaling the scent of Susan, as if she wanted to keep it as a memory for the day.

Time really was running away. Now they had to go, or they would be too late. She would hate that, hate to be the one who got Susan into trouble. She let go of the other girl, and moved to walk to class. She paused. "Goodbye.. for now.."

Susan nodded. "Later, then." What she really wanted to do right now was suggest to Pia that they ditch classes for the day, and she suspected the other girl would take her up on the offer. At another school, they'd probably be able to get away with it without serious consequences, but here...

With a sigh, she started off towards her first class. At least she would see Pia again, she was sure of it. And they each knew where the other one lived, so they could visit when they felt like it.
