Not sure if this is something I should report or not, to be honest, but in case it is an error or an unlawful attempt at accessing the site..



Got this when I logged in today. Haven't tried logging in earlier.

I got this while logging in both Vera and Kanoe as well.

Or a potental hack attempt.

Or both, maybe? I think I have heard of bots searching for accounts with easy passwords,then sending PMs with links to various sites etc. But maybe that is an urban legend.

Otherwise I can't think of any reason for someone to try to hack this site. Unless it is someone trying to stir up stuff. Which on the internet is entirely possible, I suppose. I think I will do an extra virus run on my computer, just in case it is something on my end.

I would also consider changing my passwords as well, make them stronger or more tougher to figure out. It might be, well, very basic, but there's nothing like taking every precaution.

Yeah, I'll have to suggest everyone change their passwords.

My password should be pretty strong, but changed nonetheless.

I haven't had any trouble logging in on my last attempts, BTW.

I am kind of curious if it is only me and Kanoe though.

Well, just to be on the safe side, made the announcement.

Pia - it was not just you and Kanoe.
I saw this with Aurora as well.

Interestingly - I did not have this issue with my monster account.
And I would not call one password any more difficult to crack than the other, as there was just a minor transposition of characters between them.

I've changed them both anyway of course.

I haven't had this problem yet with any of my accounts, but I will change the passwords anyway just to be on the safe side.

Just be sure to use a strong password and it's no more than a minor irritant.

Ya I gotten this on Dawn for awhile now. I did change my PW but who would be doing it?

Isn't there a way to stop this? it's kind of...annoying.

Well think about it... how can you be sure that the person trying to log in is not the person who is 'supposed' to be logging in until after they have logged in?

Of course I could set the board so that the imposter got unlimited attempts to break your password and then you wouldn't have to do the verification but does that really sound like a good idea?
