Background: Amanda's parents are wealthy, wealthy to the point where they basicaly hired people in there own house to raise amanda so they could still do everything they wanted her to do.. as long as she contuned to act her part of a wealthy daughter and stay out of the way, they were content. She decovered at some point in early life that in her parents vast libariry, that she found some books on magic, or at least potion making.. It started out as something to do.. until one of the potions acutally worked.. and all vines in the garden had suddenly came alive and entandled her to helpless to the point where the gardener had to come and cut them all free to get her out.
She learned to make all sorts of potions, some doing some amazing things.. some not doing anything.. allmost allways a hit and miss.. Until one day right after she turned 18.. she made one while her parents were at home, one of those very rare times.. and it turned out to be nothing more then a stink bomb.. her parents freaked out that maybe she was some sort of misbehaving child that was going to be stealing cars or something next.. so they put there foot down despite her best efforts and sent her to SHS.. cause they hurd this school had alot to teach.. young girls.

You know, I first thought her last name was Stormbringer.

Guess that depends if anyone responds to any of my rp attempts So far ive bombed out in the IRC channel after 6 hours sitting there.. posting to myself.

Rofl, the IRC channel hasn't really been all that popular lately, actually. Hung out there for a while and... I got in a lot of nap time. -nods- But if it's RPs you want, you won't find a shortage of them here on the boards. You can either make an open thread, and I see you've already done so, but those don't tend to go very far, just so you're aware.

I'd advise making a request at the Searching for a Partner forum, you'll usually fish out one or two people who'll play with you. Or if there's a student or a monster that has caught your fancy, you certainly can send them a PM, see if they're interested in doing a scene with you. Just about everyone here is real friendly and you're sure to find people who'll make your stay here a real pleasure.

Really its better to post what you are interested in at the Looking for RP section. Making random open threads is not exactly the best way to start stories. Feel free to read up on active monsters and students and pm them directly if you want to discuss starting an rp. I'm sure there are some who are more than willing to start another thread with you.

I like open threads now if someone will just join.. as to decussing what a scene should be about.. well thats no fun.. its supposed to be a monster ravageing a student.. not talk about whats going to happen then do it.. takes all the mystery out of it.. I can enjoy just about anything.
