Post Reality Check (Seraph)
If there was one thing that Katazhina had learned over the years, is that one simply cannot bitch enough. She’d only been on the island for two hours, and already she’d convinced two girls to carry her luggage up to her assigned room. Once she’d arrived, she realized that she had a roommate. Unacceptable. After thirty minutes of arguing with admissions, she’d finally managed to convince the dreadful woman to secure a room of a recent graduate, all to herself. Just the way she liked it. Unfortunately for Katazhina, the woman’s things weren’t completely moved out, so the young woman simply had to wait.

Slender fingers lightly tapped on the faux-wooden desk, creating rhythmic beats in the empty room. Her eyes remain fixated outside of the window as dusk fell across the campus. She watched at the numerous girls ended their day’s classes and retreated back to their rooms. Her eyes scanned the length of the visible campus, as if she were silently cataloguing the girls as they wandered this way and that.

“Insufferable woman.” The words emitted in a venomous whisper as she regarded the admissions woman. The woman had informed her to wait in this empty classroom while the promised room was being emptied of it’s former inhabitants things. The thought was interrupted as she located a girl at the lead of a group, perhaps five or six. The Alpha Female, Katazhina mused to herself, “Or at least one of them,” She continued her thoughts aloud, “But not for long.” She said with a satisfied sign, resting her chin in her hand.

“These girls have no idea what they’re in for.” She said with a smile, allowing her mind to wander off in thoughts of conquest.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
After all he had suffered Seraph's vision had been 'healing', his soul sight expanding and allowing him to see more and more 'innocent' souls. But as fun as attacking a pure innocent was sometimes he felt himself wanting something more ... spicy. And as he flew over the school he saw someone that was delightfully dark and twisted. Even better she was all alone in the middle of a empty classroom. He swept lower, a light reflection flowing around him to conceal him from sight.

As he flew lower his vision focused, studying the emotions and the soul of the student. He was surprised when he called upon the Darklight Grimore for information ... only to find her particular entry was still being written. Which meant she was brand new ... and when he discovered just what her personality was like ... the fallen 'angel' grins. He definitely needed to pay her a visit and introduce her to the true nature of the island. As well as teach her her true place at Shokushu.

As he approached the roof of the classroom he shifted his focus, his body becoming ethereal and passing through the roof and walls. He kept his distance, not going close enough for his mana 'bubble' to affect any students. But how to approach her ... he considered for a moment before creating an illusion of a student. A sweet, naive and kind brunette with freckles and glasses dressed in the school uniform.

The 'student' knocked on the door to the classroom before opening it and stepping in, smiling brightly with her eyes gleaming with naive innocence. "Hi! Are you Katazhina?" Her voice was bubbly and cheerful, and the uniform was tight across her body.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Katazhina turned tentatively towards the door at the sound of a knock, followed by the handle being jarred. A girl entered, emphasis on the girl that caused Katazhina to sigh, agitated. She looked upward towards the ceiling and mouthed a silent ‘why me’ before turning back towards the sound of a cheerful voice. Katazhina stood and forced a smile, though the expression didn’t indicate the sheer amount of force it took for the woman to muster.

“Depends on whose asking,” She started in a clear, firm voice, “Don’t tell me, that’s what I have to look forward to.” She said motioning towards the uniform. Her own dress suggested status, an expensive name-brand crop top denim jacket, a white blouse and black skinny jeans accompanied with sleek boots. Katazhina’s mannerisms may have seemed eclectic to an average student, but it was only the woman’s way of asserting superiority with her intelligence. Katazhina eyed the student for several moments and surmised the girl must be the brainy type with a serious lack of social skills, over zealous cheer and politeness coupled with her “humble” appearance suggested virgin. Easy target.

“Did that old bitty finish up with my room yet?” She said feigning disinterest and examining her nails, leaning against the top of the fixed desk.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
The 'student' didn't seem to notice your sigh as she walked into the room and towards you, that cheerful smile on her face. "Oh! I'm Sarah. I was asked by one of the prefects, Leriana, to show you around the classrooms so you wouldn't get lost on the first day." Seraph did monitor the various school officials, and it would make sense for Leriana to arrange such a thing. She had done so before, and no doubt would do so again. He doubted Katazhina would have learned about any of the prefects just yet, but it made sense to be sure. he didn't want holes being poked in his deception just yet.

The student blinked a few times in apparent shock, thrown off her stride by Katazhina's behaviour. "Oh ... um ... Yes. This is the school uniform, haven't you been fitted for it yet?" She flushed at Katazhina's next words. "um ... Miss Rai is still getting a last few personal items removed."

Seraph paused for a moment to consider if he wanted to needle the student's pride, and than decided he definitely did. "Something more important came up, and she didn't want the students going through the graduates things without her there to supervise. She said she'll get back to it in a couple of hours."

Katazhina’s faux-politeness soon degraded into evident rage and annoyance, the transformation was instantaneous and almost shocking to witness. She turned on her heel and slammed one of her fists on the desk.

“A. Couple. Of. Hours? Does that miserable old wretch have any idea who I am?” She screamed emphasizing each word, groaning and running her fingers through her fiery tresses, gripping a handful of them for several seconds. Upon realizing her outburst she took a second to inhale and exhale deeply, calming herself before turning back towards her apparent escort.

“I apologize Kara,” she said mispronouncing the woman’s name on purpose, though she was subtle about it. “I’ve just had a long flight, and having to wait for a nice bed to crawl into is a little frustrating.” She straightened out her jacket as well as her posture and smiled.

“So how about that tour.” She knelt down to grab her purse, taking the opportunity to roll her eyes in a melodramatic manner before turning and walking towards the student.

'Sarah' jumped at the transformation, visibly becoming nervous at the sudden change in the student in front of her. She showed none of the amusement that Seraph felt. It had been simple enough to arrange something 'more important', the attention of what the staff member would simply assume another monster. Sarah was still nervous, eyes flickering around as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other, hands curling and rolling around themselves as Katazhina mispronounced her name.

"urr .... it's Sarah not Kara ..." That was whispered, barely loud enough for you to hear. As if the student was scared to try and correct you. She did try to brighten up when you asked about the tour, but it was easy to see that she was still unsettled, nervous and maybe even slightly scared of the assertive student in front of her. She nodded. "Well Leriana didn't tell me what areas of study you were in ... do you have your timetable yet?"

Seraph was almost tempted to try another little verbal 'accidental' blow at the arrogant proud young women. But this time he decided against it. After all, he didn't want her actually suspicious of someone deliberately trying to needle and irritate her. To see just how strongly she reacted, and to inflame her pride as high as he could so that when he brought everything crashing down around her and humbled her it would be all the more entertaining.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Katazhina could already tell it was going to be one long evening. Her mind drifted off momentarily to wondrous thoughts of drawing a long, hot bath followed by curling up under plush covers and burying her head into a pillow. However, such was not her fate quite yet it seemed. Her thoughts were broken by the sound of the Sara girl’s voice, to which she cast a cursory glance towards the student, down to her incredibly small purse and back towards the student.

“Where on Earth would I be keeping it if I had it?” She sighed, “To answer all of your other questions, I haven’t been given anything. By the time I got here, most of admissions were done for the day, so I get all my little nifty welcoming gifts tomorrow.” Katazhina was growing a bit impatient and thus had brushed past the student towards the door.

“My major’s Anthropology with a minor in Psychology, so the Liberal Arts building would probably be a good place to start.” Katazhina said in a manner-of-fact tone. Hell, she could probably do this girl’s job without her. ”Yep, gonna be a long night indeed.”

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Sarah blinked in confusion as you brushed past, walking quickly as she realized with a start that you had done so. She quietly mused "huh ... I thought only the academic rejects were put off with that excuse..." Her words were faint, but pitched just right so that Katazhina would hear them. She didn't appear to notice that she had said them, and would of blushed horribly if she had.

The classrooms of the Liberal Arts building were a maze, seemingly designed to make it very easy for a student to be late for class. Considering this school Seraph was inclined to agree that such a viewpoint had been taken in setting up the maze of classrooms. He watched on as Sarah, tried at least, to show Katazhina around, assessing her and trying to judge the best possible time to strike.

But for now he was content to lead the arrogant student around the campus with the use of the illusionary Sarah. And all the while he imagined just how Katazhina would look in the uniform ... or out of it. When Sarah's tour was finally starting to draw to a close he swept down, phasing through the roof and walls of the building with a light reflection spell concealing him from view as he moved into the last classroom that Sarah would show Katazhina. Unlike the earlier rooms the door would be left open, although the room itself it was empty.

Seraph waited as Sarah walked up to the door and peered inside. "huh ... I wonder why the door was left open..." she mused as Seraph let a 'compulsion' spell slip out towards Katazhina, trying to build her urge to likewise peer inside the room.

If Katazhina did so Sarah would, without warning, shove her backside to send her into the room, demonstrating that she was far stronger than the nerdy bookish type appeared to be, and shut the door before the other student could recover, the lock clicking shut and trapping you inside the room until someone came along with the key.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)

Perhaps it was the delusion of being better than everyone else or perhaps she truly hadn’t heard the attempted insult, but Katazhina did not acknowledge it either way and seemed to lead more than follow the student towards the Liberal Arts building. The tour itself was droll with the girl prattling on about whatever it was. The new student hardly listened but rather explored the area for herself and made mental notes on how she was going to make this girl’s life a living hell once Katazhina was established amongst the students, taking her rightful place as their idol.

Katazhina’s mind was wandering off into her usual daydreams when she noticed her ‘guide’ had stopped short of a door. She glanced over her shoulder and scoffed impatiently.

“Really is that necessary?” She asked as the girl peered gingerly inside. This persisted for several moments before the red head shoved the girl aside and stepped into the dark room.

“Hello! Hello! Anyone in here? Of course not you twit.” She said flipping her hair over her shoulder and stepping back outside of the room. Or at least, she thought that’s what was happening until she felt a violent shrug and the heavy door slammed right in front of her face as she’d turned to run back out. She heard a metallic etch that indicated that little bitch was locking it.

“Aha, yes very funny. I’m not entirely humorless. Now I demand you open the door immediately.” She yelled placing her hands on her hips. The sound of footsteps fading away nearly sent the girl into a rage.

“Do you know who I am you little bitch? If you don’t turn around and open this door right now you’re going to wish you were dead you-you-you NERD!” She screamed pounding on the door. More obscenities were screamed, and more pounding ensued, but to no avail. The cunt was gone. She had to give her credit, it was a ballsy move, chalk it up to not knowing who she was dealing with. With a frustrated growl Katazhina began feeling against the wall searching for a light switch.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Sarah, of course, made no attempt to return to the room. In fact she no longer existed, the only faint essence left was the sound of her footsteps fading away as she 'fled'. The door had no method of unlocking it from the inside. And in fact wouldn't even unlock from the outside of the room, at least as long as Seraph kept it locked. The light switch wasn't hard to find, but when it was flicked on the lights were dim.

It was enough to see the teachers desk, heavy, wooden and bolted to the floor. The students desks in the room were much lighter affairs. Other than the plastic chairs the room seemed empty, but the light was too dim to see any further than halfway towards the back of the room. The windows lining the side had been covered with curtains, preventing any light from coming in that way. And even if the curtains were pulled aside the windows were covered with a thick darkness that swallowed the light, preventing anyone from seeing out and making everything look normal to someone looking up and in.

Have the students been playing pranks on the new kids again? The voice that came from the back of the room was definitely male, although Katazhina couldn't see just who was speaking yet as Seraph decided to toy with her a little more before moving to his main entertainment for the evening.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Katazhina breathed a sigh of relief as she felt the switch for the light, though, much to her displeasure it seemed her parents had sent her to a school for street kids and the poor. Hell, their lights weren’t even maintenanced regularly it seemed. The student took a moment to allow her eyes to adjust to the half dimly lit room. She squinted as she made her way back towards the door. She grabbed the handle shaking for several moments before she gave up.

“What the fuck kind of door locks from the outside.” She groaned. Her immediate thought was to attempt to climb out a window. It was only the second story, and from what she’d seen, there were plenty of ledges, hell she’d been in worse situations. Her daring escape would only make it that much sweeter when she shocked that little Sarah bitch with a fist to the face. She took only a few steps into the room towards the windows when a voice startled her.

“Jesus Christ!” She screamed, her eyes narrowing towards the large mahogany desk, where she assumed the voice had come from. “You almost gave me a heart attack.” She said exhaling loudly. The voice sounded older, experienced and masculine, and thus she had assumed it was a teacher almost immediately. Then after the initial moments of shock wore off, her brain began to think a bit more clearly.

“What kind of creepy professor hangs out in his classroom in the dark?” She said rather bluntly, taking a step backward and squinting into the darkness. All she could make out was barely a figure, and the overhead dim light only seemed to inhibit her sight rather than assist it.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Seraph chuckled, and Katazhina's eye's would make out a 'teacher' sitting at the desk. His wings were concealed behind 'light reflections', as they would definitely give the game away. Of course to anyone who could see mana he was blindingly obvious, but such students were rare. And Katazhina was definitely not one of them. His general features were impossible to see in the dim lighting, although his hand reached up and clicked, the sound echoing somehow in the room as the lights snapped fully on.

Seraph's appearance was that of a fairly handsome man in his late twenties, blond hair kept long and tied back into a ponytail that trailed past his shoulder bones. His eyes were blue, and a half smile was on his face as he turned his head from staring towards the back of the room to face Katazhina, as if looking at her for the first time. The word 'angelic' would easily spring to mind if one had to describe his general features, very handsome and striking. And when Katazhina first saw him he sent a lazy flicker of mana at her, letting her feel it invigorate her body and bring it 'alive' with a spark of arousal.

The doors lock when closed, and require a key to open from the inside or the outside. Generally they keys are issued to the teachers who need to use that particular room to prevent misuse and damage to school property. As for why I would come here ... it was quiet and peaceful. And I've had a stressful enough day with the student's here without being somewhere they can easily find and pester. So why are you all the way up here Miss ...? His voice trailed off, waiting for the student to supply a name.

Post Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Katazhina blinked hard several times as her eyes adjusted to the newfound light in the room. She would have been angry, that was until her eyes rested on the ‘Professor’. Her eyebrows raised slightly, one that seemed to emanate pleasant surprise.

She had been tricked by her parents into attending an all-girls University, but she still felt the victor over her parents as they obviously hadn’t accounted for the Professors. Her amber gaze was fixated on the astoundingly gorgeous blond, until she’d realized that his lips were moving and she hadn’t heard much of anything he’d said, though she managed to catch that he’d asked for her name.

“Katazhina,” She said with a polite smile, “Frost.” She stared dumbly for several seconds before she recalled he’d asked her a question. “I apologize for disturbing you, I didn’t do it by choice, this Sarah girl was showing me around campus and thought it would be oh-so-hilarious to push me inside of a dark room and lock the door.” She said with yet another smile.

“I was waiting on my dorm to get cleared out so I could move in.” She began to feel a bit hot, her cheeks flushing a bright red. His gaze seemed to pierce right through her soul. “I’m sure it’s probably ready by now, I could get out of your hair if you’d be so kind as to unlock my way,” She said running her fingers through her hair. “Unless, you wanted me to stay.” She said with a hint of seduction in her voice. Hey, just because she was at an all-girl school, didn’t mean she had to forgo the simple things in life.

Seraph couldn't help but return that smile, letting the mana continue to flow out towards Katazhina. He could see just how little of his words had actually sunk in, and found it quite amusing. He would look forward to letting her see what he really looked like. This definitely promised to be an entertaining student. Miss Frost ... or can I just call you Katazhina? And that's ok, I only get annoyed at being disturbed by students who want to cause trouble. You aren't one of those I hope? Shokushu has more than enough trouble makers for my liking.

He tilts his head to the side. So no, I do not mind if you stay. Sarah ... bookish brunette with freckles and glasses? I know her. You wouldn't look it, but she's one of the more irritating students around. Let me guess, she used the whole 'prefect asked me to give you a tour' trick? Happens a lot, most fall for it. So what class did you have here? Who knows, it may even be one of mine. and you look like the type who would be interested in getting an ... early start to your classes to make sure your ahead.

The student smiled sweetly, nodding politely, “Oh yes, Katazhina will be just fine, and I’m a lot of things, but certainly not a trouble maker.” Taking confidence at the teacher’s invitation she felt a bit more comfortable to approach. She allowed her hips to sway just a bit over exaggeratedly as she approached a desk directly in front of his own. She took a seat, crossing her legs and resting her hands on top of the desk. A perfect angel.

She was transfixed on the teacher’s face, her golden gaze exploring it’s perfect symmetry and sharp, angular features that tended to be soft and complimenting all at once. She couldn’t help but feel a bit hot under the collar, thankfully her legs were crossed. Her attention was commanded this time when he spoke, and she nodded with each description of Sarah as he told her of the girl’s history

“Oh there’s no hard feelings I suppose, lucky for me you were here and I wasn’t locked in here all night!” ”Bitch, perhaps I’ll find a following with other girl’s she’s wronged.” She thought with a soft smile to herself, ”We’ll leave that whore strapped naked to the flag pole…well maybe not naked, she did lead me to…”

“I’m sorry, I must have missed your name if you’ve said it Sir,” She said apologetically before continuing. “I’m here for Anthropology, minor in Psychology. People fascinate me…some more than others.” She said dropping a lusty hint. “And your assumption is correct, I enjoy learning and being ahead of everyone else in the classroom.”
