Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Seraph hide his amusement at the student completely, a side effect of the fact the face the student was seeing was just an illusion was that it only showed what Seraph wanted it to show. He didn't believe that her claim that she wasn't a trouble maker for a moment, not with that soul swirling with arrogance and injured pride.
For now he ignored the slowly rising arousal the student was feeling, unsure if that was natural, or simply due to his own mana. As she approached he let her see 'his' eyes checking her body out, admiring it. He let her see the approval of the sight in front of him as she stared at his face. Hopefully it would help spur her on to do more to try and attract his ... attention.
He laughed briefly at Katazhina's words. Quite lucky for you. The last few students she's pulled that prank on all received detentions for being out after curfew. And I doubt a student as obviously upstanding as you deserves to have to sit around doing nothing for half the night, in addition to being locked in a classroom when by all rights you should be in your room. As for my name there is no need to apologize, I never introduced myself. Seraph, and yes my name is weird. He shrugged in his seat, holding out his hand to shake the students. My parents seemed to think that I was their angel, and named me for it.
He flashed the student an easy smile when she took his hand, letting her feel mana flowing across the touch, sending her hand tingling with warm pleasure. Human's are such a fascinating field of study, although I generally prefer to teach the more advanced classes. The other teacher is a fool, and you'll be lucky if you learn anything from her in the first month. But she does serve as an excellent buffer to keep those who aren't actually interested in the subject away from me so I don't waste my time without suitable compensation. And I have been known to offer private ... tutoring to ... exceptional students. Which leads nicely into the question of how interested are you in the subject, and if it's worth my time giving you some advanced ... lessons to make sure you stay ahead of the rest of your ... peers. It was easy to lace the word 'peers' with another spell, to make Katazhina think that for a moment he was going to say 'Competition'.
This was promising to be very fun indeed. And the fallen angel had only just started toying with the newly arrived student.

Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
“It’s a beautiful name,” She said with a soft smile, “Your parents were great to name you for it. I certainly wouldn’t want any demerits either, I’m hoping if one of those Prefects are walking around you’d write me a note to excuse my curfew.” She said twirling a lock of her red hair around her fingertips.
Katazhina felt the heat rising to her cheeks, her milky skin flushing a light red as she realized Professor Seraph’s eyes roaming over her petite form. She was polite and sweet as he spoke, giggling slightly where appropriate and offering words of agreement where appropriate. She found herself lost in his words as he spoke of his advanced classes that he offered, and while she hated to boast…who are we kidding, she loved to boast, she made it avidly clear that she was more than eager to take on the extra work load.
“I graduated top of my class at Pemberly, over 600 of the nations best and brightest in my senior class,” She said shyly as if she absolutely dreaded being so open about her accomplishments. “I’ve taken several Psychology and Anthropology Jr. College courses, my transcripts should be here by tomorrow, I’d had no problem bringing them by for you, along with my resume.” She said crossing her hands on the desk.
“As far as my interests are concerned, these fields have always fascinated me and I knew from a young age that they were what I would go to University for.” She said, conducting herself as if she were in an interview. In addition, she thought she may add some extra incentive.
“It’s a bit hot in here.” She said with a nervous laugh, unbuttoning the crop jacket she was wearing and shrugging the dark material off of her shoulders. Her blouse beneath was unbuttoned just enough to give a hint of cleavage, and the sheer material gave a hint of dark lace beneath. “I would of course, love to be in advanced classes, and I know I can more than handle the additional work load. I too have an extreme distaste for those who waste my time, and wouldn’t dream of being the root of such dissatisfaction.”

Re: Reality Check (Seraph)
Seraph let Katazhina have another one of those easy smiles when she complimented him on his name, before tilting his head and narrowing his eyes for a moment in thought when she asked for a note. Hmm ... it would probably be easier for me in the long term to escort you back to your room, or wherever you are sleeping tonight, than write a note out for a prefect. As he said the words 'wherever you are sleeping tonight' he let a subtle spell slip out, sparking a private thought deep inside your mind of going back with him to his room and sharing his bed for the night, as well as doing all the things that such an act implied. Even as her private little fantasy flashed through her mind Seraph continued speaking. If I write you a note than any prefect you show it to is just going to come by me and check that I did write such a note anyway.
The 'teacher' nodded as the student boasted, listing her achievements and letting himself appear impressed. He just smiled as she commented on how hot it was getting in the classroom, again letting her see his eyes roam down to your blouse and examine your body. He 'saw' the hint of dark lace, and his gaze lingered on it for a moment longer before he looked back up at the student. Well you'd have to endure the basic class for a while before I can even consider applying on your behalf to have you move up to my class, plus of course that means a lot of paperwork for me, as well as hours debating and going over student records. But if you are eager to ... please, I'm sure I could come up with some basic exercises for you to do to demonstrate just why it's worth the effort on my part to help you skip ahead.
The trap was set, and now he waited to see if she would pick up the veiled meaning behind the words. Not that it really mattered if she didn't, he was going to take her no matter what she did. From the moment the imaginary Sarah had approached her in that first classroom she had become his entertainment. And as long as she was entertaining he would maintain this illusion. As soon as she stopped, he would use her for another type of entertainment.
