Background: Bell was born into a very wealthy family, the upper crust of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, she could never quite fulfill her mother's expectations. Her mother wanted a cheerleader, a popular but mentally absent heir to the family legacy of marrying rich. Bell subverted those expectations in a big way. She was never really popular, instead she fell in with the goth/punk crowd. She was mostly made fun of by the crowd her mother expected her to lead. Though, to be honest, both of her parents were quite absent during the majority of her childhood. Instead she found solace in books, looked for refuge in reading. Honestly, that might have been enough, if it wasn't for the fact that she also liked girls. Her mother was scandalized, and when she graduated she was sent to the furthest private school they could find, Shokushu.

Personality: Playful would probably be the word. Bell is incredibly easy-going, and it's very difficult to get her angry. Bell loves self-deprecating humor and she'll always jump at the opportunity to make fun of herself. She's rather quick to make friends and rarely makes enemies, though she is a little quiet about her sexuality and it takes a bit of work to get her to come out of her shell in that arena.

Likes: Reading, especially Victorian Lit. Her favorites are Great Expectations, Jane Eyre, The Portrait of Dorian Grey, and a load of other gothic works. Music-wise she likes a lot of over-the-top punk, eighties new-wave (much love for the Cure) and some lighter industrial. She likes cheesy horror movies, comic books, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Activities: Running, she does so regularly. She also used to be on her high-school's track team for discus but she's since abandoned it. Other than that, she enjoys writing poetry quite a bit, and loves reading.
