Edward just grinned as she upped her ante in terms of attacks. She really was a challenge to fight with, and he loved the thrill he felt when he was fighting an opponent. Of course, he read her movements, and he could roughly guess what her intentions was from her movements when she attacked.

He dodged the strike to the head and then parried and deflected her blow to his arm, and swiftly moved to the side when she tried to attack his knee. He then moved quickly before she could react and then tapped three more points in her left arm, effectively paralyzing it for at least thirty minutes or so, before delivering another palm strike and a jab and her stomach, knocking her back yet again.

Between the abrupt loss of her left arm, having her breath knocked out of her, and being knocked off balance, Susan was unable to keep her feet. Fortunately, the ground was soft and the attacks weren't intended to injure her, so she doubted she'd even have any bruises to show for it. Standing up also proved easier than she'd expected. "Another point for you," she said as she rose in a defensive stance. It might have been a weaker strategy against him, but with her arm out of action for a while, she couldn't launch another attack very effectively. She also had the advantage that this time she had some idea of his skill and his two most likely plans of attack. She couldn't be sure whether he'd try to take out her other arm or go after her left leg, but she'd have a chance to react if she could see which way he started his next attack in.

Edward nodded and said. "Indeed... though I must say for one thing... you are quite good as well. Even though I won two points from this matches, it is because you did not know what I am capable of, and taken by surprise. That in itself is quite understandable... so I shall take this time and let you recuperate for a moment. We shall continue our sparring match after you have recovered... and this time, let's make this more interesting, shall we? It will also be test of discipline for you for our subsequent sparring matches."

He then waited for her to answer to his proposal.

She relaxed somewhat when he said he'd give her some time to recover. While her experiences didn't let her relax her guard completely, so far he'd given her no reason not to trust him.

His proposal set off mental alarms, however. He might not have any evil intentions, but she wasn't going to agree to anything quite that vague. "What did you have in mind?" she asked, trying not to betray her suspicions.

"Nothing much of course... I am going to use the abilities that my mother's side of the family posseses. I am a werewolf/incubi hybrid, you know. I am going to use some of my lust energy with my attacks, and if you are able to withstand five rounds in this match without cumming, I will teach you some rudimentary basics of my father's family style that can be practiced by anyone... and if you lose, well you just have to cooperate with whatever I wish to do to you today. That sound good? And I am being fair, since I am giving you a fighting chance in this. " He said to her politely.

It wasn't a great deal; even if he hadn't revealed he was part incubus, she'd have had a good guess what he'd want her to do if he won. On the other hand, he'd had at least two opportunities to overpower her if he wanted to, and his fighting style might help her avoid some unwanted attention. She didn't doubt that he would give her a fighting chance, either; if he went all-out, it would be over quickly and she'd be more likely to win the bet. It all came down to whether her willpower was strong enough to let her hold out for that long, and she actually had good reason to think that it might be. She'd certainly proven strong-willed enough to surprise one or two other monsters in the past.

"I suppose so, as long as you'll give me time for my arm to recover before we start. Wouldn't be that fair otherwise." And if he won't give me that time, I might be able to make a break for it.

Edward chuckled and said. "Of course, of course... I am not someone that would take advantage of a disability to win. Despite me being a monster, and my intentions for you are clear, I am still an honorable person... rest assured, you will be allowed to recover. A fair fight is what I am looking for, don't you agree?"

He then relaxed, though he released a bit of pheromones into the air as he waited for her to recover.

She gave a slight ironic "ha" at his claim to be looking for a fair fight; she knew something about the island slowed her down, and it was pretty clear he could beat her easily even if she was at her best. "You've come to the wrong place for a fair fight. They handicap those who're at a disadvantage here." Despite that, she visibly relaxed as she sat down to wait for her arm to recover; he did seem to be a relatively honorable… being… and she felt she could probably trust him to keep his word.

"How long will we have to wait?" she asked, holding her still-useless arm.

He chuckled and then said. "Well, I suppose so if you put it that way... but let me put in in another way... I am someone who keeps my word, even though I don't have to. Like you said, it is almost quite obvious that I have many advantages over you, and the fact that I do not do anything to use those advantages against you in your current state does say something about me now, doesn't it?" His words were smooth and polite, and truthful though there was an underlying hint of suggestion in them for her to trust him.

"And you shouldn't worry about that arm too much... you should be able to move in fifteen minutes time. Oh, and do some stretching and flexing with it first. It gives the nerves and muscles time to recover for a bit before our match." He added to her.

She nodded at his statement that he kept his word; even without the hint of suggestion in his voice, she'd already concluded that she could trust him that much. "I actually meant that the island itself somehow makes sure humans are at a disadvantage."

The information about how long it should take her arm to recover actually seemed to be to her advantage; he didn't seem to have tired much, if at all, during their previous sparring, while she definitely had been beginning to feel the effects of the sparring plus the kata she'd been doing before. His comment about stretching and flexing it first, however, led to an exasperated huff from her. "I know that. I'm not exactly new to this."

"Ahhhh I see... well I did not know about that, and before you doubt me, I assure you it is true. " Edward said truthfully to her, though he chuckled as she huffed in exasperation at his comment about flexing her arm. "I know that, as well. It's just a friendly reminder to you, I would not want you injured before our match. It would make the victory for either one of us seem hollow, don't you think so?"

She shrugged at his claim that he didn't know about the school's weakening of students; she didn't know whether he was telling the truth or not, though she suspected he was, and it didn't really matter. As for his reason for his suggestion…

"Maybe, but it'd've made more sense to wait until my arm recovered, then suggest it if I didn't stretch."

She let the rest of the wait for her arm to recover pass in silence, standing up to stretch as a tingling told her the effect was wearing off. After stretching and flexing to get the kinks out, she turned to her opponent. "Okay, I think I'm ready."

"You think eh?" Edward said thoughtfully and then shrugged. "If you say so... then prepare yourself. This is going to be an eye opening match for you, and if you are lucky perhaps you might last long enough for you to learn something."

He then let his lust aura surround him at its lowest power, and his hand glowed pink for a moment, signaling that infused with lust energy before he took a fighting stance for a moment, and then moved quickly, using a bit of his speed to rapidly gain pace before she could react, and then tapped two parts near her arms, letting some lust energy seep into her before backing off a bit, settling into a mild defensive stance to wait for her to attack.

His first attack struck her too quickly for her to avoid it, but didn't seem to do anything. She doubted it was as harmless as it seemed, though; he'd already told her he'd be using 'lust energy' on her, and it wasn't to his advantage to defeat her quickly.

Finishing rounds quickly would help her, however. She took a moment to analyze his stance before moving in aiming a strike towards what seemed to be the weakest part of his defense. It was a feint, however; she expected that he was aware of the weakness in his defense and was using it as a trap. If he fell for her feint, she intended to try to catch him with a foot sweep takedown.

Edward smiled at her as she rushed at him, his eyes never leaving her to study her moves. He was quite impressed that she would try to duplicate what he had used on her, and shifted slightly, allowing her to get past his defenses for a moment only for him to flare up his lust aura at a medium setting for a moment, letting it wash over her before withdrawing at a safe distance, and then he collected some lust energy in his palm and hurled a tennis ball sized orb of lust energy towards her before she could react and it struck her harmlessly as it was quickly absorbed into her body.

He then assumed a neutral stance once again as he watched her.
