Really, she could not explain it even if she wanted to. It was the only thing she could think of. Her magic was generally about offense and force so she just applied it to the spell itself. Thankfully, her method was working. Perhaps because it was a basic cantrip was why Kanoe could just 'force' the spell to end with her dark mana. While this was ending the spell, it was not stopping the unrelenting tension inside Pia's trembling body.

She channeled more of her mana, breaking the threads as quickly as she could. But now, Pia was at the boiling point and could take no more of it. Kanoe could understand. One could only stay at the edge for so long before ones thoughts are nothing but reaching release. Kneeling behind the woman, she let her hand slide down between the woman's thighs. You can make notes and tell me about what you just experience so we can learn more about your abilities. That... release looked like it took alot out of you. It must have been beyond words." Kanoe smiled as she guided the young woman to a chair to relax in. The dark witch heads for the kitchen to return with a glass of water for her pet. "Here.. take this moment to collect your thoughts."

Pia was about to protest, to say that it was not necessary for her mistress to fetch her anything, but she did not quite summon the will to do so. Her brain was still flooded with endorphins, brains cells chirping happily about post-orgasmic bliss.

She gratefully accepted the glass, and thanked Kanoe before drinking deeply.

It was perhaps a bit out of her role to get the water for her pet but it was a necessary sacrifice for the sake of progress. When Pia grows stronger and used to these new powers, she will leave such simple responsibilities to her precious pet. This gave the young woman time to begin writing down notes to look over later. Kanoe took her seat at the table and took a drink of her own water to help cooldown. Unlike her pet, she had not done anything about her own growing tension. But, business before pleasure some might say.

"A side effect?" She was not really surprised that sex magic has some sort drawback but, Pia's explanation did bring some questions. "Your image was doing something?" she asked, "I did not see anything besides your hair changing. Perhaps it was due to the heavy arousal for so long. Your magic involves the mind and emotions. "well.. " Pia said. "It was kind of like my mirror image was doing things differently than I was.. She.. uh.. I was making gestures.. and well.. acting suggestively. Like I.. or her.. it I suppose.. wanted me to focus on different things like the spell.."

Pia was kind of embarrassed now, because this was perhaps proof that she was a bit less than perfectly focused on being a good student. "I suppose.. voluptarius magic is oriented towards the senses, and I was focusing on the mirror. Maybe I was kind of creating an illusory effect.. uh.. projecting some of my more.. subconscious desires on myself. I kind of think I wanted me to not do that kind of magic, and instead.. well. Other things.."

Pia was very much the blushing maiden now. She had a strong suspicion about herself. She had wanted to fail, so that Kanoe would either help her and comfort her, or be angry with her, and in Pia's horny fantasies, this would lead to other things..

"Anyway, I think it dissipated when I felt my spell being successful!", she quickly added.

"Your spell was successful which was our goal in the first place," she said calmly, "These images do create some concern but perhaps it was because you had so much power charged up. Perhaps it was a way of telling yourself that you are capable of far more than simple cantrips. That much I can agree with. Having too much mana may be a hinderance when trying minor spells. I will take that into account next time we start light in our lessons."

"You did well, Pia," she added, "You proved to yourself that you are more than just a mana battery and I would have it no other way. Though it may take some convincing in order to explain your new hair if you decide to keep it as is." The witch giggled softly. The long red hair would have given a more mature look if it were not for the woman's blushing cheeks and nervous visage. "Are you feeling better now?" she asked, "Hmm... Since your image had other ideas for what to use your magic for, let us discuss that. I started light due to both our inexperience with this sort of magic. You also seemed reluctant about your path so I did not want to force the more powerful spells on you. But if that image you saw was something from yourself, perhaps that is exactly what you need. Try to think on what the mirror image wanted you to be doing. Assuming it was telling you something involving your magic." For all Kanoe knew, the image could just be telling Pia to go fuck like a rabbit. As pleasing as that might be, she wanted to keep things on task for now. They still had the rest of the night ahead of them.

Pia had to think about it for a while. What did the mirror tell her? "Well, uh, I am not certain what the mirror wanted.. It was just small flashes, when it acted different from me. It was gone when I blinked, then back again."

This certainly made Kanoe's idea seem more plausible, it was her subconscious telling her something, not a real phenomena.

"It did some rather.. uh.. naughty things. Revealing my.. err.. its breasts and such. It seemed it wanted me to use more force, or maybe it just wanted to distract me. I got the feeling it was being mischievous.. at least at first."

Then Pia got an idea. "Sorry about being so vague, Mistress.. but.. do you think we might make it tell it's message more clearly? If we could try making it happen again, then focus a little more mana into it, maybe it would be able to express itself a bit better?"

Pia was not even sure if it was possible, but with the interaction between her and Kanoe's different magical essences, it was hard to tell what would work and what was a failure waiting to happen.

"I wish I could give you a solid answer, my pet," she replied with a soft sigh, "Unfortunately, we are going blind with this and there are no reliable sources about this strange path of magic." And she would rather die than try to ask Seraph about something like this. The last thing she wanted was for both them to be bound to that horrible angel. "If this magic is something you always had in you, perhaps deep inside you there are some answers. But that is merely a thought."

"If you feel that you are ready, we can test your theory," she continued, "This time, channel how you wish. You do not even have to cast a spell. Merely channel that raw energy you have built up inside you. If you think it helps. you may stare into the mirror as you do so. Just... try and control yourself. I do not want you to lose control like you did before. Do you understand, Pia?" Kanoe would not bother with mana sight this time. This matter was more mental as it was magical so there was no point in trying to understand wild threads writhing about the woman. She will only need to do so if Pia shows signs of losing control again. Hopefully the last brief mishap helped release some of that pent up energy.

"Take your time and try to understand yourself as best as possible," she added, "Maybe you can even attempt to use force on this image to make her more compliant."

Pia nodded as she listened to Kanoe. She thought it would work. Her magic was supposed to work better on the senses, and to enhance emotion. In a way, she was about to do both. She simply had to channel a bit of her mana to the mirror, and let it take the visual appearance of whatever she was feeling. It was not quite a spell, but almost.

Control. That was the key, that was the challenge. She had to open up for whatever was inside her, but not let completely loose, like she almost did last time. Getting it just right, that was the trick. Pia could not help but feel a little ashamed of her first slip up.

"I think I can do this, Mistress", she said. She walked over to the mirror, and faced it. The mirror image looked back at her, looking a bit exited, a bit nervous, but also determined. Childlike blue eyes, but with brows down-turned in a serious expression. Her red hair was looking pretty wild, having escaped its earlier constraints.

Without thinking, Pia lifted her hair as she made herself ready. It was a near unconscious gesture, but served to make her feel like she was preparing for something. Nimble fingers made it into a loose bun, then pierced it with the pencil she had used for her notes.

She could feel her mana stir already, like it knew it was going to play again. She reached out towards the mirror, touching it lightly with her fingertips.

"M-mistress..", she said. "M-may I suggest something.. it is kind of not like me, but maybe it is a good idea."

She could feel something tingling along her arm, moving towards the arm, moving towards the mirror. She locked eyes with her own mirror image, trying to make it look as real as possible in her minds eye, to erase the division between viewing mind and viewed image.

"If I look like I am about to loose control again.. May I suggest.. If I do not respond.." Pia blinked. "Did the image move it's lips different from me just now?"
It did! It was proably in my mind but.. Pia was pretty sure. In fact, she thought she knew what the image had said. Say it! Naughty girl..

"I loose control, you warn me and do not respond.. I suggest maybe hurting me a little. Physically, I mean. When in the throes of my mana.. I kind of respond better to sensations than to the intellect.."

And now Pia was sure the image was acting on its own accord, biting a finger and grinning impishly. The question was if Kanoe saw it too.

Kanoe once more watched as Pia prepared herself. She found it interesting how the woman took the time to put up her colored hair. With the glasses it gave a look of an uptight teacher or a well behaved student. That is if it were not for the revealing outfit she was wearing along with it. This could be some sort of way of telling herself that she was in study mode or ready to take in all notes she could about the situation. In any case, the witch did not mind as long as it provided results.

A faint tingling along her skin was the only minor sign she would get telling her that magic may be in the area. She watched the woman reach out and touch the mirror image. As far as Kanoe saw, there was nothing out of the ordinary happening. The image mirrored the actions perfectly just like any other mirror. The session was only for a few moments before Pia spoke up with a suggestion. The witch considered the request. She knew that Pia did like pain along with pleasure but perhaps the woman was right that pain would be enough to shock back into reality.

"Hmm?" she blinked at the mirror, "No, I do not see anything. Just stay calm. I will do what I can to help snap you out of any trance you may fall into. Just focus on the task.
