"Your not a monster," Kirsty said softly as she kissed Katherines neck.

"You may or may not have other intentions, but that's your private thoughts, and I have no right to pry into them that would be disrespectful," She said calmly as she smiles softly.

"Besides like I told you, with the ADD I didn't have much choice, it was either join them or be dumped onto that slaver planet," She said as she had remembered the normal things most ADD recruits had, they had a choice, but little options.

"Yes, but what's the difference between being a slave for someone else and belonging to me for the week, apart from the amount of time? How do you know I won't end up taking my frustration and stress out on you?" Though she was speaking, the woman had closed her eyes and settled against her pillow more comfortably, relaxing now as she was beginning to feel quite at peace now, especially in the comforts of her own bedroom, even if there happened to be an agent cuddled up against her body.

"I don't that's the simple answer, I don't know," Kirsty said as she snuggles into the pillow holding Katherine gently

"I will just see how the week goes, that's all i can do...goodnight Katherine," She said kissing Katherine's forehead before closing her eyes in slumber.

"So, you choose to trust. My, what a remarkable anomaly you are..." The woman sighed as she allowed herself to drift off to sleep, bereft of dreams as her body began recovering what energies it had lost. The two were allowed to sleep peacefully, without any interruption as Nicomachus began powering down any non-critical systems, shutting the lights off and began his silent vigil over the station, a watchful, ever present guardian.

As they slept, the mercenaries finally arrived, soon confronted by Nicomachus, who then established the hierarchy that would be present on the station, making the men aware that while Dr. Steiner was in charge, the A.I. would be their liaison and would handle all that they needed, and in return they would do as the A.I. 'advised'. Once they had squared themselves away and been given a brief tour of the station they were to guard, the A.I then waited until morning came.

By the time the girl would wake up, she would find herself alone, the doctor already gone. There was, however, another suspended tray with several dishes of breakfast, such as pancakes, strips of bacon, toast, scrambled eggs, and shredded potatoes, all of them smelling rather wonderful, along with two glasses, one of milk and another of orange juice. At this point, the holographic avatar of Nicomachus appeared. "Good morning, Kirsty. I have taken the liberty to add more familiar recipes from Earth to the menu. I hope you enjoy breakfast."

Kirsty slept peacefully through the night dreaming lovely dreams of her few peaceful times, before morning's call came and she woke up groaning and saw she was alone and with breakfast and smiled.

"Thank you Nico," She said and smiled and slowly began digging into her breakfast starting with the bacon and eggs as she slowly ate them with a smile on her lips.

"Hmm lovely work Nico," She complimented as she continued her breakfast meal.

The hologram gave a nod, watching as its charge enjoyed her breakfast. The doctor had ordered Nicomachus to take care of her pet, after all, and it was easy enough to see to the girl even as the A.I. was busy handling the day to day operations of the gargantuan research station. "Certainly, Kirsty. If you are still hungry, I can have more brought up to you. You need but only ask." The hologram remained silent, allowing Kirsty to enjoy her breakfast in peace, waiting patiently. It wasn't long until the avatar decided to make some small talk, the personality models driving him now. "How are things progressing with your decision to get to know Dr. Steiner, if I may ask?"

Kirsty nodded her understanding as she calmly finished her bacon and eggs and began munching on her toast swallowing it a little and smiled.

"Well it's going well, we had a little chat in the shower, I think it helped me, but I have a whole week with her to know her more," Kirsty smiled softly.

"For now, I have to wait here until she calls for me for any help in experiments," She said sitting on the bed while beginning her pancakes.

"So I gathered. As long as it helped, then I am glad to be of some service. If you wish to converse more at another occasion, I would be glad to speak with you." The uniformed avatar remained where he was, allowing her to continue with the pancakes, even as he began speaking with Dr. Steiner elsewhere, requesting clarification on what to do with the girl. Once he had been given that, the avatar spoke up again, "I have asked Dr. Steiner as what to do with you, and she has stated that you may do as you wish within her quarters for the time being, but she will be taking up your offer to aid her later on. Until then, she has suggested that you may be introduced to the Harvesters if you wished, as we do have one of them here within Dr. Steiner's quarters."

Kirsty smiled glad he would offer any talking or help before raising an eyebrow at the harvester bit.

"Really? One is living in here?" She asked glancing around the room.

"Well I guess it might be best if i meet one of them now rather than later," Kirsty said as she finished off her pancakes and wiped her mouth with the napkin as she smiled and rubbed her belly in contentment.

"Yes, Dr. Steiner is rather fond of one of the Harvesters, an early specimen of hers. She stunted his growth so she could keep him as a pet. She has taken to calling him Harvey, an appropriate name given that he is an Harvester." As he spoke, his words were laced with the same rapid beeping, too low for human ears to pick up, but easily heard by Harvesters with their superior senses. Before long, a small creature came crawling from under the bed, being lured out of the small 'lair' it had produced for itself, mostly made from the clothes of the doctor.

The thing eventually made its way up onto the bed, clambering up by using the blanket. It was one of the Crawlers, though a bit smaller than most and it behaved differently, almost like it was actually a pet instead of one of the monsters that had been terrorizing the ADD. "It isn't dangerous in any way, nor does it react as most Harvesters would. I believe you could say that Dr. Steiner tamed Harvey and now it is more or less dependent on her." As the A.I. spoke, the Crawler made its way up to the girl, appearing to be curious of the newcomer but keeping its distance at the same time.

Kirsty smiled as she heard the creature crawl up onto the bed and it looked at her.

"Wow she tamed it, that must've been hard to do to keep it tame when around others," She said as she looked at the creature sitting now on the bed and just stayed still letting the creature observe her and approach at it's own pace.

"Course it helped being a sort of harvester herself," Kirsty said as she smiled at Harvey.

"Indeed, I agree that it would be easier to do something like that if one were to be similar to them. Dr. Steiner, when it comes to the Harvesters, is more or less capable of dominating them. As you can see, they behave themselves when confronted by her, and I believe that they essentially worship her as a superior life form." It was then that the Harvester, which had been purring was now looking back at the hologram, as if it was listening. A moment passed before the creature began approaching Kirsty, rubbing its body up against the girl's leg. "I have introduced you to Harvey and explained that you are a guest of the doctor and that he has nothing to fear from you. If you wish to touch him, I ask that you do so with care."

Kirsty nodded as she listened intently before blinking her eyes seeing Harvey nuzzling her leg as she was a little nervous before she moved a hand down slowly and stroked it's back carefully and gently, as she smiles.

"He's um very affectionate," Kirsty said sheepishly chuckling a little.

"That can be attributed to Dr. Steiner, as Harvey is one of the few things that she shows any real affection toward. The rest of the Harvesters, on the other hand, are decidedly not affectionate at all. They are very driven by their instincts, after all. Their primary instinct is to grow, to expand, to evolve. And this, they do by harvesting what they require from the bodies of females." The avatar watched as the Harvester shuddered softly under the agent's touch, quite enjoying it as it settled down against her, still purring softly. "I realize that you may be adamant about helping Dr. Steiner with her research, but I really must ask you to give it some consideration. Harvesters can be very forceful about getting what they want, and they do not listen to pleas at all."

Kirsty smiles and strokes her fingers up and down harvey slowly and softly smiling softly.

"I appreciate the concern Nico, but I have to help Katherine someway other than just being a sexual release in the bedroom," She said stroking Harvey.

"And I know that creatures like Harvesters aren't gentle, but I want to help her anyway I can outside the bedroom," She said softly.
