Well she had gathered a little bit of intelligence on the situation anyway as she made her way along. Kain had a bodyguard who did not trust her though perhaps next time around he would not be so though in his search.

And the room she was in hadn't been his, at least the bodyguard said so. She had to develop a plan of action here and while the bodyguard knew not of Mustafa it seemed that Kain had. Now she was on an errand for a mask, fortunately neither system that Kain mentioned had been too far from here and the next time around Kain might have his guard down a little seeing that he would expect her.

Without further incident she left the building seeing the bodyguard in the hall outside of the room, not knowing of who she was he did not stray far should he be needed.

The port, better than Akixs was a far cry from those that you would find on a civilized world. No one was here that she recognized though the blue skinned alien that she interacted with at the bar earlier was nearby.

Kirsty chuckled and approached him.

"Hey there long time no see," Kirsty said one hand on her thigh as she smiles at him calmly.

He was glancing at one of the buildings in a bit of thought when she addressed him braking him out of his stupor as he looked in her direction.


"Oh, hello there. Find Kain alright?"

Kirsty smiled and walked over, "Yes very much so, he asked me to do a job for him," Kirsty grins in success.

"Anyway how're you?" She asked smiling.

"Oh? Really? That is a little unusual but congradulations on the success there. Personally I could be doing better, at least finacially since I got cleaned out at cards earlier."

"Oh sorry to hear that, maybe you should quit the card games and focus on work, maybe it'll give you more money?" Kirsty asked leaning on her own ship in the docks.

"Perhaps your right, but it's the thrill of the game the risks and potential rewards that could be gained. Besides, there's not much else to spend my money on. My basic needs are covered and the rest is sheer profit. I could get a slave if I were so inclined but that's too much effort there. Keeping them in check, training them, feeding and clothing them and so forth.

"But I'm boring you, what sort of job are you taking?"

"I'm suppose to steal an Utaki ceremonial mask from I think a ship or guy called Lawerence is heading Meda after disembarking from Thibald," Kirsty said calmly smiling,

"I got about 2 weeks to do it, should be easy," She said

"The Lawrence is a ship, crewed b crommites mostly." He considered for a moment. "Pygmy sized beings, insectoid scientists that share a hive mind. They collect all manners of things, salvage mostly that they scavenge. I know that they have a few other insectoid types on the ship and one or two mammals but most don't last long, they're out of the loop of the hive consciousness so to speak. They have castes too so only specific ones manage this or that as noted by their castes. Normally it would be an easy matter to get something like a mask from them but blending in will be impossible."

"So I don't blend in, I just sneak in, crawl around find the mask, nab it and get to my ship and back," She said calmly with a smirk crossing her arms calmly.

"Shouldn't be too trouble," She joked

"Just remember that they have a hive mind and thus in constant communication with one another. They have some form of ESP, what one experiences can be shared with others or so it seems. When one is distressed it always appears that others respond, I don't know if it's actual ESP or they're picking up on something else or it could be as simple as them releasing spores of distress or something like that."

"Thanks for the tip," She said giving a smile and nod and began entering her ship and began preparing the launch checks glancing at the Pyramid and smirked.

Wonder where your at right now

The trip to Meda was short, just a few hours. Meda itself had bays for smaller ships and seemed more up to the specs of galactic norms. The planet had squat dark green insects with four arms and wearing white tunics. Larger insectoids with tan tunics and sword guns could be seen in sensative areas and there were a few other insectoid species here of various types.

There were also a few humanoid aliens here as well mulling around stalls and speaking with a few of the crommites, a few inparticular seemed quiet busy.

Kirsty calmly flew the boring flight just rubbing a thumb along the pyramid device with a smile as she flew to the planet and docked and stepped out onto the planet and glanced around calmly.

"Hmm what have we here?" Kirsty said nice to see the planet.

When she disembarked from her ship the stalls with groups swarming them stood out but more immediate was one of the crommites approaching her. It gazed in her direction and a quick assessment showed that it was unarmed but holding a pad.

He also had a belt pouch that jingled slightly as he approached, which grabbed her attention and she noticed that it was wearing two of them, not one as she had initially believed.
