"Ah, yes I am, now that I think about it. It's interesting how hungry one gets when one is working." Alice giggled, covering up the sound of her stomach growling.

"I don't suppose dinner tonight will end in a similar manner to the last time I was here, will it?" Alice smiled, looking at Kanoe. "I want a chance to make up for what I did today is all."

"Oh?" she smiled softly, "Well perhaps you can make it up by preparing dinner. How you perform may help improve my mood." The witch teased Alice. She could only wonder how devoted the woman was to her after earlier. The woman was eager to try and tame her. "I will leave it to you." Kanoe passed Alice and taking the time to clean up the table. She was uncertain what this woman would do to make things up for earlier.

"Well then, let's go to my room. I've got an idea of what I want to make." Alice giggled, and bit her lower lip.

That was surprising. I didn't expect her to say that. Alice thought, heading toward the door.

"Or would you rather stay here, and have me use up your stuff?" Alice asked sarcastically. She figured that the dark witch would come to her place, and let her make dinner. "After all, what's the point of making food with somebody else's ingredients?" Giggling, Alice held her hand out towards Kanoe, silently asking the goddess to take it.

It was not exactly her ingredients but the schools. But Kanoe did not mind the excuse. She rarely visits another students room as most students come to see her and not the other way around. Alice was just kindly inviting her to dinner though maybe being a bit pushy about it. That seemed to be how Alice was when she wants certain things. With the lesson over for now, Kanoe did not mind a bit change of scenery. "I suppose," she replied as she reached out and took the offered hand. "Well lead the way, Alice." This being her first time to visit the woman's dorm room.

"As you wish." Alice led the dark witch to her dorm room, careful not to tug on her. "Sorry I was so pushy, I just wanted a change of pace. Not that your room is bad, mind you. A change of scenery can do a girl some good is all." Alice babbled on for a bit about various things, just trying to make conversation, until the pair reached her room.

Using her key to unlock the door, Alice led the witch inside.

The room was well furnished, various paintings hung on the walls, two couches in the main room with a table in-between them, various bits of steampunk fantasy sat around waiting to be tinkered with. "Sorry about the mess." Alice said, walking over to the kitchen. "My place is usually tidier than this." Giggling at her bad joke, she began to grab various ingredients, seemingly at random.

"Oh, would you like something to drink, Kanoe?" Alice asked as she was standing by the refrigerator.

"Its fine," she replied simply, "If I was not interested, I would have made you cook in my room. Taking a short walk would be good for us anyway." The witch said little else was Alice struggled to maintain the conversation as they walk. She listened as best as she could but it seemed to just be idle conversation topics that generally did not interest her.

The room was bit cluttered with the two couches rather than chairs around the table. The artwork seemed nice though a bit out of place for a dorm room. But it was just a difference in taste and not necessarily flaws. "I doubt that," she replied at the mention it was usually cleaner, "Its fine though. My room is not always in the best shape." The witch moved to have a seat on the couch. "Water is fine," she answered while taking a moment to relax.

Alice walked into her small kitchen and got a glass. Filling it with water for Kanoe, she walked back into the sitting area and handed the witch her drink. Unable to think of anything to say, she walked back into the kitchen, opened the fridge and pulled out some things. Noodles and some vegetables. She got out a pan, and some cooking oil, prepping a basic stir-fry.

It didn't take long for the food to be ready, and Alice soon had two bowls of vegetable stir fry on the table in front of the couch where Kanoe was sitting. "I hope you like it, Kanoe." Alice said, blushing furiously. Having burnt more than her fair share of dinners, she'd hoped that for once her food turned out okay. After all, she hate to serve some nasty burnt shit to her mentor.

Her apprentice was rather quiet, the silence no doubt driving the rather positive woman up a wall. But she continued to be a good host, providing Kanoe a glass of water and wasting no time in getting dinner started. She drank deeply before setting the glass down on the table. "I do not recall if I asked this but do you have a roommate?" she asked, looking around a bit but figuring the answer already. Either Alice lived alone or had a roommate that did not mind the mess of various steam based gadgets. Personally, she did not mind the silence but she figured the question would give her host a brief topic to speak of.

"Ah, no. I live here alone. Hence the mess, hehe." Alice fidgeted nervously, taking a bite of her food. "Is it good?" She asked the witch, hoping to have this be an acceptable apology.

She did not have to wait long for dinner to arrive. Noodles and vegetables was fine for her. Unless she had someone cooking for her, the witch tended to prefer simple foods and meals to last her through the day. Kanoe tried the food, sipping her water after every few bites. "Yes it is good," she replied with a nod, "Thank you, Alice." She ate a bit more before looking up. "Are you going to sit and eat with me?" she asked now that Alice got confirmation that the food was satisfactory for the witch.

"That's what I'm doing, isn't it?" Alice asked. She'd been sitting on the floor across from Kanoe since she brought the food to the table. "I'm sorry about earlier, Kanoe. I was... Impulsive, and upset. Thanks for staying civil with me, despite my childish behavior." Alice kept her eyes locked on her food, nervous to look the older witch in the eye, afraid that she might get rejected by Kanoe.

"I agreed to provide you some of my knowledge about magic," she replied simply, "As long as you honor your side and behave appropriately, I see no reason why we cannot continue this relationship. You seem to understand what you have done wrong and learned from it. That is enough for me." Kanoe of course was referring to continuing teaching the woman. Anything beyond that though was nothing that she had to provide and that included her affection and love. She would not hold a grudge despite the breaking and entering and other matters. The witch understood that this woman had fallen for her and she was curious where that may lead in the future. Hopefully, it would not lead to more stalker trends like picking the lock on her door again.

"Again, thank you for being civil with me." Alice sighed. "I won't pick your door again. I promise. If I wanted to test that ability out, I should have tried it on my own door, rather than disrespecting you." Feeling relieved, Alice took a few more bites of her food. Not wanting to sit in silence, Alice reached behind her to grab her book. Opening it, she chose the page she'd been working on, and asked Kanoe a few questions about what she'd written. Mostly questions along the lines of "Did I do this right?" or "Did I make a mistake here?". At one point though, Alice asked one real question. "What affects the elements that we control? I mean, what's stopping somebody like yourself or me from gaining control over every element?" Alice smiled to herself. Being a real student means asking real questions, not just sitting and copying things from a book. She thought.

Kanoe accepted the apology already and Alice seemed to have calmed down some. That was good, being distraught the entire time would only hinder their studies. The woman was quick to grab her book and immediately review her notes. The witch continued eating, correcting any mistakes she noticed. Most of the issues she found involved how she classified the elements. Alice moved on with that topic, asking more detailed questions on the matter. "Nothing is stopping me beyond the time it would take to do so," she answered, "I was studying a few other elements with my lover as she is proficient in five elements while I am only skilled in two. Generally, anyone with potentially will find their first attempts at magic lean towards certain elements. This can be influenced from how their mind thinks, their personality, or just something that is passed through birth. There are advantages in being flexible in the elements as it provides more variety of magicks one can tap into. But focusing and becoming a master in fewer elements or even one element allows one to efficiently to use that element to accomplish many things as well. It depends on how one sees and imagines how to use certain elements."

As the conversation went on, Alice began taking notes in her book, making sure to continue paying attention as Kanoe spoke. "Hehe, I asked you to come over with completely intentions, and yet here I am taking notes from you. Not quite the evening I had in mind. I do appreciate it, but I was wondering..." Alice paused, and fidgeted a little with her skirt. "Perhaps we might do something a tad more... Entertaining?" She asked, eagerness in her eyes.
