Kirsty gave a hidden smile as she looks at him, "So your joining this little trip? Wonderful?" She asked drumming her fingers on the mug and drank the coffee she had calmly.

"Yes, I would normally be there of course we'd have more ships too. In any event we won't have to concern ourselves with enemy fighters, I've got a plant on the ship that's seeing to that. Still, while I dislike rushing into matters the cargo is rather important for a variety of reasons and we won't get another opportunity at this. I guess they are on the move out of nerves, an anxiety to get this over and done with to which I don't blame them but it does make my job that much harder."

Kirsty smiled placing a hand on Kain's arm softly stroking it.

"It'll be fine Boss, we can handle anything," Kirsty said with a teasing giggle.

"I'm not too worried about it though I do expect some resistance, the fact that they are moving so soon tells me that they do not wish to be targeted in the least so they might not have the best defenses."

Kirsty nodded with a big grin on her lips as she strokes the arm still.

"Yeah I figured, so when we gonna get the crew together for this?" Kirsty asked.

"Soon," he returned, a scaly hand stroking her cheek delicately before he bent down to her and pressed his mouth against her own. "The other ship has already departed and we shall be departing shortly, come with me, it's about time you saw the Cerebrus in action and we can't afford any delays so if you end up getting lost we'd have to leave without you."

He took her arm leading her out of the place, his stride much greater than hers making her have to hurry to keep up but since time was a factor he had not slowed down any. Soon they were in the back seat of a nice hover car and whisked to the dock where the ship was kept, a large vessel with lots of people scrambling around it, many rushing inside with small crates hoisted onto their shoulders, supplies maybe.

They seemed to be in a hurry, jogging for the most part as they lessened a stack of crates at the dock itself.

Kirsty mmm'd as she kissed Kain before she stood up and kept at least close behind him as they headed out to the hover car as she looked around as they reached the docks in no time already many alien men preparing the ship and nodded.

"Impressive ship," Kirsty said calmly looking it over with a smile on her lips and giggles.

"It has over fifty lasers that can fire independently or linked up with one another and has fire arcs to all sections, predominately the front, port and starboard sides." He spoke calmly as he headed up the gang plank avoiding busy aliens. "It has one tractor beam with a forward facing arc and military grade shields along with eight concussive missile tubes ... it is quite the beast in combat.

"It also has a thicker hull and good ion drives which have been upgraded. There are three airlocks to a side and the initial plan was to use those on the port side to dock with and board the Marrow in different sections of the vessels and secure the bridge and engineering sections before securing the cargo."

"So if that was your initial plan what's the new one?" She asked calmly looking at Kain as she leaned on a crate that wasn't moving yet smiling sexily.

"Don't tell me you won't cute me to sneak in first and cause trouble do ya?" She teases.

He regarded her cooly. "Not this time and the plan isn't altered, only hastened as we have to get going much sooner then expected. If it comes to a shoot out though we're in worse shape in boarding actions then we ought to be but we should still be able to manage it. Rex was able to get the majority of people together for a boarding action when the time comes and given our armament I doubt we'd have too much of a challenge in the space department either."

"Gotcha Hun, well I'm all ready for when you need my help," She winks playfully sitting on the crate giggling more as she looked at him enjoying this so far and once she got her chance she'd be outta here and completed her mission.

"Good to hear," he responded as he took a few steps forward towards her and the crates, large hands sliding over her hips as he lightly seized them as he lowered his mouth again to her lips. It seemed evident that he had not suspected her, then again there was no real way of determing that and the whole ship business could be in full or part to catch her off guard.

Kain pulled away from her, a hand seizing a wrist as he pulled her off of the crate as he walked towards the bridge with her in tow. It was a few hours in hyperspace though before the ship came out, guns blazing as they fired upon a larger vessel.

Kristy could see a smaller vessel too, one that had an interdiction field to cause a gravity distortion and pull other ships out of hyperspace and prevent them from just taking off while it was active and near.

Kirsty mm'd again into his kiss as she strokes his neck while kissing him before she got off the crate and they headed into the ship taking off and heading to the target as Kirsty noticed the ship.

"Hmm nice a hyperspace jammer," Kirsty said before she watched the ship battle from the bridge.

"Quite expensive, though very useful, more so on relying on knocking out another ship's drives before it jumps away. Oooh."

The military vessel fired on them, blue lightning flickered over the shields as the Cerebus opened up with missiles and guns to devestating effect. It also got a tractor lock so the Marrow was hard pressed to dodge.

"Or, you can try to tractor other ships to prevent them from jumping but the larger ships like the Marrow might put a strain on you trying to wrench away or can brake the lock after a short while. But as it stands the Cerebus has been modified a bit for the larger vessels."

There were several explosions on the Marrow as missiles slammed into the side of the ship. The Cerebus steadily moved in.

"Report," Kain snapped.

A green skinned alien at the helm responded, "Shields are holding at 80%, the Marrow has lost shields on the port side and it's manuerability, they are not responding to hails and are under long range jamming."

Kain nodded then glanced at his bodyguard, Rex. "Get a boarding party together, if they want a fight we shall give them one. Kristy, let's see what you got."

"If they're not responding can be only two reasons there comms are out due to those shots, or they're preparing big guns for us," Kirsty said calmly as she began getting her hidden weapons ready a pair of dual pistols and a rifle on her back and a pouch of detonation frag grenades as she calmly crack's her knuckles as she heads to the boarding party sending a wink to Kain and saunters her hips away to the boarding party even in the thick of battle she was a little minx.
