Kirsty bit her bottom lip under her cover and reloaded her rifle and shot again at the soldiers and droids making sure some of the idiots with her stayed alive and helped her fight them off as she ducked back under and used a pistol for now in shooting down some guards.

As she fought in attempt of keeping some of the pirates alive she found that dealing with the defenders was a lot tougher now. They were dug in pretty good, though the droids were exposed and easy tragets to take out. They were not too strong either and made of a flimsy metal and thus were cheaper, and thus more affordable in bulk.

She was joined by other pirates that reinforced her numbers, pirates seeking to fire from cover. They had been pinned down for about ten minutes before heavier, tougher droids were ushered into the fray. They could take a few hits though. Soon after though she was reinforced once again by Rex and his men, apparently they had dealt with their soldiers and droids already and thus came here to assist them.

The tide of battle was beginning to swing though in their favor.

Kirsty smirks as the tide began shifting in the pirates favour shooting her gun at any droids or troopers around still having one grenade left but kept it back as she continued fighting hiding behind her cover as she did enjoying this a little bit,

The fighting continued on for a good 15 minutes before trickling down. The pirates having dealt with a portion of the defenders had consolidated their forces and by then there were even others that came into this section of the ship via another entrance to catch the defenders in a cross fire and make easy work of them.

"To the cargo bays, Quenzit, secure the prisoners in one of the cargo bays until further notice."

"Yes, sir." One of the alien pirates nodded and then ran off with his team of pirates following him. Rex looked at one of the crates here in this cargo bay, opening it and peeking inside he closed the crate and made a quick look around.

"It's not in this bay, men spread out look for Nicoli."

Other pirates broke away to comply, though who or what this Nikoli was had been unclear.

Kirsty walked over to Rex her rifle on her back as she looked at him calmly.

"So should I be knowing about this Nicoli? Or is that only for the top brass?" Kirsty asked Rex as she watched the pirates move off to find this Nicoli...

"Ask Kain," he retorted after thinking about it for a moment. Less of a hassle that way he probably considered, if the boss told her then fine, if not then it was probably something he wanted to keep quiet about but either way he was smart enough not to get caught in the middle of matters here.

"Sure sure," Kirsty said smiling as she looked around the bay before she began searching the ship herself calmly tapping one of her pistols calmly.

It was a bit of time, she saw prisoners being escorted down the halls and other pirates join the search teams before she over heard a voice over a walkie talkie calling for Kain to join him in section G-7. There, after following the instructions of the voice she noted a small team of pirates and an opened door, a panel beside it that had been removed from controls of some sort that seemed to be a locking mechanism of some sort she guessed.

She had not seen Kain here so she guessed that she got here ahead of him, which made sense if he wasn't with a boarding party, or perhaps he was but in a different part of the ship, in any case she had not seen him for a little bit.

The room that the pirates seemed to be around wasn't a cargo bay, she knew that much as the door here was barely wide enough for one person to move through, let alone cargo.

"Hmm okay busters move asides, lady coming through," Kirsty said pushing through them and got to the front of the gathering looking at the tiny door about the size for a room, "What the hell...wait is this Nicoli a girl?" Kirsty thought out loud as she looked at the pirates and looked for Kain.

She moved her way forward to the unlocked door, the pirates had to have either been under orders to do something or had already looked inside and thought Kain would want to see this but they did not attempt to hinder her as she came forth.

"Nikoli?" One of the pirates questioned, as if he knew nothing about the name, so the pirates must have been kept in the dark.

"There aren't many females on this ship, a few of the troopers but I guess one of them could be a Nikoli."

She could see Kain approaching as he rounded a corner, a bandolier of blaster over his torso and one at either hip and a belt of grenades around his waist. With him was an honor guard of sorts of half a dozen individuals. He also had a sword at his side, a cutlass of some sort and while it was shealthed there was some blood splattered on the hilt affirming that it had seen some action recently.

"Hey Kain, nice of you to join the party," Kirsty jokes smiling as she looked at the unlocked door curious about what was behind it but kept her opinion out of it for now.

As he approached she noticed a patch of flesh on his side that had been scorched, he had been shot but that had not hindered him any as he approached so she guessed that he was only grazed. "I was delayed ..." he answered though his tone was even he was neither pleased or displeased by it, it seemed.

But turning his attention to the pirates he asked what this was about but was prompted to see for himself, as words couldn't really sum it up as well. He commanded his honor guard to wait here as he steadily approached the door, a hand resting on the butt of a blaster as if trained by instinct as the door slid open to darkness.

There was a sea of blinking and non blinking lights beyond and a green glow towards the back of the room, she assumed it was the back for she could not see any walls due to the darkness.

"Nikoli?" Kain spoke softly as he headed forward.

Kirsty slowly approached with Kain behind him slowly curious as she noticed the strange happening in the room and Kain's reaction as she had a weapon ready too.

"This is Nikoli?" She asked looking inside carefully.

"I believe so."

The lights were attached to control panels of various sorts regulating this and that she guessed but as the pair walked deeper into the room near the green lights she could see various tubes of some sort filled with a transparent yellow substance, in one was a body of some sort of diminitive humanoid creature that floated in this liquid.

"Yes ... Nikoli," Kain gazed at it for a long moment then in a raised voice he called to his men telling them to take it once they worked out how to take it safely from whatever was regulating it in the first place.
