Fenricks looked at An thoughtfully and then shook his head. "It's more of the terrain really, though at lower settings the terrain itself can also be adjusted to allow the person to acclimatise themselves to the conditions. For example, at level one or two, the room that we are standing in front of now will present to you a simple snowy landscape, just like where a thin layer of snow and ice is present there and it takes place in a wooded forest. Level ten will take you to arctic regions where the temperature is more extreme. Opponents of course can be programmed it by integrating the holographic networks to the room if it is needed."

He paused for a moment before saying. "Does this answer your question Miss An?"

The pool itself did not look too out of the ordinary.... with the difference that the water was deeper blue in color than normal, and if Enru would take a close look it seemed deeper as well... as if there is no bottom, and she could see shapes swimming in the water, though they are quite obscure for her at the moment.

An replied, "Ah so it really designed to simulate terrain that you find yourself in on a particular planet. It is not really a combat simulator. Good that does answer my question.." The brunette handmaiden seemed to be satisfied with the Lupino's response.

I suppose it would be good to get a feel for what kind of environment you maybe landing in. The Princess said thoughtfully. You would be able to scan the surface of a planet and try to simulate in a room like this. Then you would be better prepared for going to the planet below.

Meanwhile, Enru thought she shapes swimming in the water. She looked a little closer but she really couldn't make out what it was that was down there. The blonde handmaiden decided to lay down next to the pool and stick her head in the water to see if she could make out what those shapes are.

Fenricks nodded and said. "It is princess... not every world has the same terrain and by acclimatizing yourself to the terrain would allow you to survive there without actually going there first. It is always wise to be prepared is it not?"

In the water, Enru could actually see many shapes swimming in it. One of them actually swam closer and she could see a woman with brown hair, shells for breast covers and a fish's body on her lower half. The woman smiled gently at her as she stopped a distance away, looking at her curiously.

It is. It is a very smart idea. We do not have such technology and have to rely on experts to teach us how can best adapt to the environment. It is not the same as being there of course.

Enru was amazed by what they saw, she had never met fish women before. One had stopped and smiled at her gently, the blonde handmaiden stuck her hand in the water and waved back to try to remain friendly.

"Quite true... I think your world, or at least your future home would do well to intergrate such technology in your training centers for the military. It would allow you all to be better prepared for any circumstance... and if you wish I can make a rough copy of the technology involved and give it to you to take with you. How does that sound?" Fenricks said to her.

The fish woman smiled gently as Enru waved a friendly gesture at her. She swam closer and stopped a short distance in front of the blonde handmaiden. Oh my... this is interesting... are you new here? I have not seen you before. What is your name? Her voice was friendly, though there was a lilting, musical tone in is as well.

Octavia nodded her head, That sounds like it would be wonderful, thank you. You are being most generous with your offer. Is there anything you request from us, please do not hesitate to ask. Things had been going well with the mercenary that the Trixians hired. It looked like this would be an interesting mission after all.

The blond handmaiden watched as the fish woman traveled closer to her and smiled gently. She was surprised to be able to hear her voice through the water. The fishwoman asked her name in a musical tone. The young woman realized that she couldn't talk in the water and pointed up at the surface and then to her throat to see if the woman would understand what she meant.

"Anything you say?" Fenricks said with an amused but friendly tone. "I am a wolf that has everything he needs, princess... though I will have to keep that in mind. I will think of it, and I will request my boon at a later date if that is alright with you. But let's wait until you have regained your homeworld before we speak of that."

The fish woman nodded with a smile and floated upwards, her head breaking the water and she swam closer to the young woman and said. "Hello there... are you new here?"

Octavia nodded her head. Fair enough. It can wait until then, though it maybe a while. The young royal shook her head at the thought of the plight of her people. Shall we continue the tour?

Enru looked on as the fish woman floated upwards the surface. "Yes, I am Enru. I am a handmaiden to Princess Octavia of the House of Bellatrix. Who are you?"

Fenricks nodded and said. "Well I suppose we should... though I doubt that there are anymore things to see. Level Seven is under temporary lockdown for the moment, and you all have seen the hangar bay. Would you be interested in perusing one of the holosuites first, Princess? That and Miss An would care to try one of the virtual combat simulators on level two or three. But before you use them, my advice for the both of you earlier stands... start with the more mundane programs first, or a difficulty level that is closer to your own level first.... the programs there are quite realistic, and I do not wish any discomfort to happen to any of you during your stay."

He paused for a moment and said. "While you do that, I will send a probe to the world we are orbiting and determine if there are any threats we need to look out for before I get both of you. We can then get a tour of the world we are orbiting... is that acceptable to you, Princess?"

The woman smiled gently and said with a note of surprise in her voice. "Oh my, a handmaiden for royalty? This is interesting... my name is Arienne... I was a princess of the Maquarian people that resides in Maquarus III. You have come a long way here, Trixian... tell me... did the good Lupino rescue you and your princess from slavers also?"

The pink haired princess listened intently as the Lupino told her that there was no more else to see. The only level they hadn't explored was off limits. It was a little disappointing to the royal to know there was no new levels to explore, but Fenricks did mentioned that was the holosuites and combat simulators were available. Before even consulting with her handmaiden, Octavia volunteered the two. Yes, that would be very acceptable. You should send the probe while the two of us try out the holosuites and virtual combat simulators. I am sure that An and I would find it most interesting.

The brunette handmaiden shook her head knowing it was not going to do any good to protest once the royal had made up her mind. She did want to try out the combat simulator, but only when Enru was around to guard the princess. Instead, the princess had volunteered her to be in the simulator at the same time Octavia was going to be in the holosuite. She didn't have much of a choice in the matter as to do anything else would make her princess look foolish.

Enru could hear a surprise in her voice, similar to her own voice when she found the mermaid, "No, we had hired him to protest us as we survey this system. So you were taken by slavers from your homeland? That sounds awful, your Highness."

Fenricks nodded as he escorted the two of them to the third floor and said. "Remember what I say Miss An, Your Highness... do not attempt to access the more exotic programs or the higher levels of training programs unless you think you are ready. It is for your own comfort and safety. If you would excuse me... I have a probe to send."

He then went to the bridge and programmed a probe to be launched towards the world below them, and he sat in front of the console, watching the results flicker in as the probe began transmitting its data.

Arienne merely smiled and shook her head. "Please, Miss ENru... call me Arienne... I do not like formalities amongst us. Were you intending to go for a swim? Come into the water then... there is a small city that the aqua based races that the good Lupino had rescued had built. Would you care for a visit?"

The two Trixians followed the Lupino back to the third floor where he presented the simulators. It was then that Fenricks reminded them that to be careful of what to set the simulators too for their own safety. He could not stay around as he had to send out a probe. Thank you for the tour, Fenricks. It has been very enlightening and I look forward to trying the simulators.

As the mercenary returned to the bridge, the royal encouraged her handmaiden to try the training simulator. An was hesitant at first but eventually relented to suggestions by her Highness. It didn't take too long for An to get the training simulator setup to the settings she wanted was just a simple training with pistols. The brunette handmaiden then got into the simulator to practice.

The royal was happy to try out the other simulator the one that set up landscapes. She wanted to start out with worlds she had heard about but never visited. There was a world called Seiuras which was a world that was not quite capable of support her people on the large scale, however it was a world that filled with small tropical islands, any of which would an awesome place to visit. So the young royal entered the planet's name in the simulator, not realizing that she had entered Seturus when she entered the device.

Meanwhile the blonde handmaiden was continuing her conversation with Arienee, "Forgive me, please call me Enru. I would love to visit your city but I don't know if I can hold my breath that long." The handmaiden was surprised that a city of anysize could exist in a pool as she was not part of the tour.

Arienne smiled and then came closer, before gently cupping the Trixian's cheeks with her hands and placed a gentle kiss against her lips. Enru should feel a slight tingle as gills appeared on the sides of her neck and Arienne smiled. " I have given you temporary gills, Enru so you can breathe underwater... now would you now come into the water?"

As Octavia entered the simulator, she would find herself standing in front of a large forest or jungle... the verdant green trees spread around for miles. It was very beautiful, though the Princess did not know the dangers of this world just yet... it was still quite tempting to enter the forest to take a look.

Enru was a bit taken off guard when the mermaid came closer to her, before she could respond Arienne had moved to put her hands gently cupping her cheeks. The princess mermaid soon kissed her lips, the blonde handmaid soon found her neck tingle a bit. It was then that Arienne told her she now had gills...if just for a brief while. "Wait how did you do that?"

The pink haired princess found herself take by surprise as she amazed by the large jungle or forest in front of her. The royal was impressed by the simulator though she had placed herself on a beautiful beach. Octavia thought is that she must be in the middle of the island and if she picked a direction and stuck with it she would be soon at a beach. The woman soon headed into the forest to get a better look and to find the beach. Little did she realize what world this room was really simulating.
