Post One is the loneliest number...[Calista & Asura]
Calista sighed as she sat back in the pilots chair of the Midnight Star as she watched the sun slowly disappear behind the the planet she was orbiting of the fringeward sector that she was assigned to patrol. She hated the fringe jobs, always too far away for backup and rarely had intel that could prepare her for the task before her. She stifled a yawn as she ran another sensor sweep for her target that had been tracked to this system. A single blockade runner from Shokushu had managed to break the ADDs lines and while normally nothing would have come from the situation, pressure had quickly been applied for the ADD to find and return the wayward vessel to its home.

For some reason, out of all the other agents command could have sent, they instead sent her. While she would never complain the woman felt that there was more to this than she was being told. Her console chirped as sensors confirmed that the missing vessel had been found, she plotted a course and was soon rounding the third moon of the cas giant her ship had been orbiting just a few moments ago. She visually scanned the vessel as she illuminated the vessel with a spotlight mounted on the exterior of the vessel and saw no major structural damage as she piloted the craft to one of the docking rings and allowed the autopilot to take over while she walked back to her quarters to change.

Her quarters were rather chilled as she shivered while standing there in just her black bra and thong panties. She crossed the room to the small but comfortable bed as she gave a shiver after stripping off her undergarment and pulled on the skintight silver and gray stealth suit that covered her from her neck down to her feet, which she slid into a pair of heavy duty combat boots. She slipped on her belt which held her pistol, psi-blade and spare ammunition and other gear she might need over on the other ship. The blond haired woman the picked up her rifle and smiled as she turned to leave the room towards the airlock.

A friendly green light indicated a positive seal, Calista wordlessly paused and entered in a standard ADD command that would detach her ship and send it back to ADD controlled space if she hadn't input the code in three hours time either remotely or at the opposite airlock terminal. After receiving confirmation, the ADD Special Talent opened the door and crossed over into the other ship while her flash and enhanced senses scanned the gloom ahead of her for life or danger.

The ship was relatively small and cramped, though for one able to easily traverse through walls, ceilings, ducts, and even the portions of the ship without air, it was much more cozy. The ship appeared to be small, and the more Asura had explored it, the more it's design intent had become apparent. Asura often had difficulty understanding why organics did certain things, or did things certain ways, but this function was familiar. It appeared to be a transport for captives... something not far off of the original intent Asura's android form.

Better yet, within it, were 3 young women being held captive. Unfortunately, as was often the case, Asura found, these three seemed to have been claimed by another lifeform, one definitely not human. It discovered this by attempting to dominate one of the slaves, only to have her apparent master (or kidnapper... it couldn't tell what stage their relationship had progressed to, though the intent was obvious) hear the young woman's screams and respond, finding Asura and attempting to attack it with some sort of blade. When that didn't work, it simply ripped Asura apart, though this accomplished little since it merely remolded into its base, spherical shape.

Unable to destroy Asura, and apparently not wishing to attempt to simply communicate, it then tried to empty all the oxygen out of the room, even with its captives inside. At this point, Asura was able to adapt to the oxygen controls and reset them, saving the women. It concluded that ownership was irrelevant, as the creature was wasting a valuable resource by being willing to kill its captives, and then managed to force it to an escape pod, where it left its ship, Asura, and the captives to their fates. Unfortunately for those remaining onboard, Asura had no idea what a ship was, let alone having the ability to control and fly one. It had merely thought the structure was some kind of prison, until it lifted off and Asura found itself stranded in space.

it had spent the last two days alternating between learning the ship's computers (there were a lot of systems on board), feeding the girls, and... feeding ON the girl. On the third day, however, another option presented itself, when something pressed against the airlock and fresh air hissed into the ship. Asura climbed into the ductwork above the entryway, waiting and watching for what might come through...

Cautiously the blond ADD Agent entered the other ship, crouching low to the deck while moving off to the side of the entry way as she stood up and scanned the cramped entry bay where the airlock met up. After she slowly scanned through the room and was as certain as she could be that it was secure, the young woman returned to the entry and typed in some codes on the control panel there as the hatchway sealed while lights flickered on as power from her ship flowed into the power generators of the blockade runner. She pulled out a hand-held scanner as she started making her way towards the bridge to find out what was going on, though before she reached the doorway leading to the bridge, a noise drew her attention further back into the ship in the opposite direction. Bringing her weapon up she slowly made her way towards the rear of the ship.

She could hear the sound more clearly as she moved though the crew lounge, familiar with the general lay out of ships like this. Beyond the sealed doors on either side of the semi-circular couch would be the dozens of holding cells used to keep the girls in during transport to Vanejin or other clients. She burst low into the room and say a single cell with a pair of girls chained to the walls, their school uniforms tattered remnants while their bodies where streak with some strange thick silvery substance.

She quickly picked the locks on the door, entering the cage while the girls cowered away from her and whimpered. "It's okay I'm here to help you," she said calmly while laying her rifle down on the deck as she began to work on freeing them from the shackles, not knowing that she was being watched.

Asura caught sight of what appeared to be a human female entering the ship from his air duct vantage points. She seemed to be carrying weapons, though her chosen attire caught his eye more than her belt. It was curious as to the difference between her outfit and the ones it had encountered previously. Being its first time in space, it was used to school uniforms, dresses, or other more contemporary attire. The weapons drew its gaze as well, though it took a second. Most weapons didn't seem to have much effect on Asura, though it had learned that there were some that could actually damage its systems.

With self preservation ever at the top of its priorities, it manifested itself into its base, spherical, hovering form outside of the prison cells and crept in after her while she was distracted with the captives. Unfortunately it hadn't seen any of her weapons before and didn't know which ones may or may not harm it, so it decided to attempt to disarm the largest one first, which she had set to one side.

Asura quickly extended a tentacle across the room, attempting to wrap it about the rifle and pull it back into its own body to analyze and sequester it. At the same time, it knew such an action would draw the young woman's attention, so it dispensed with its silence. "If you wish to help them, you will be required to help me." it stated in an surprisingly human tone despite its robotic form, sounding much like a male of the species might, though with a slight echo as its vocalization was not centered on a 'mouth'.

Calista worked quickly on the manacles at the woman's throat and wrists, she sensed fear first from the captive girl and then a sense of personal danger, instead of reaching for the rifle that she heard scraping across the deck she quickly drew the pulse blaster holstered at her waist. The blond haired woman remained kneeling with herself bodily between the intruder and the girl, she narrowed her eyes as the mercurial sphere hung in mid-air, absorbing her rifle into its mass. The agent could hear the girl pushing herself back against the wall and whimpering, obviously this...entity had been using the girl.

"Identify yourself before I leave you just this side of a fusion reaction." the blond haired agent replied coolly, her mind reaching out to touch the girls and try to soothe her. When she did this, the blond haired agent sensed a muted background emotional noise coming from the object and the only way she could describe it was tinny sounding. She closed her mind to it and instead focused on the gir who was terrified to the point of pertification.

Calista couldn't blame her though, they were both in a bad position, trapped within the cell by whatever this thing was that was hovering in the doorway. While she didn't waiver in her aim she had to get the girl to the safety of her ship "In what way are you needing help?"
