Alynia was mildly surprised at this new guard knowing such a slight change in the dress color. She fidgeted "It wasn't this.. Oberron you've mentioned." Even though she was telling the complete truth she couldn't help but frown slightly at what she heard about her husband.

Surely they were only calling him a lecher because they disliked him, not because of previous occurrences, but there still remains the fact that he had never mentioned any other prisoners before... Alynia banished these thoughts out of her head. If Oberron had other dealings with prisoners, surely he had no reason to tell her. Certainly he would have atleast told her if he had been married before with th exception Titania and herself.

At this point Alynia couldn't afford to lose faith in Oberron and instead chose to disregard the man's words. Besides Oberron had treated her with such kindness, she cured herself for even considering him being dishonest. Even if his goal was to sleep with her only to ruin Sable, Alynia felt she owed him atleast that pleasure... She sighed to herself. Alynia couldn't help but hope there was more than just that.

"It was a guard.." Alynia explained quietly quite embarrassed after a notable pause. "I don't know his identity, but he did nothing more than touch me." she said quietly squeezing knees together. She had a brief thought about the wolf like guard who had indeed tried to have his way with her and shuddered at the memory. She looked up curiously at the new guard, relieved he didn't seem to have many ill intentions. Alynia decided it would still be best to be cautious.

"If you mention it I'm sure the guard will be wishing to only have a torn dress out of the ordeal. But you look, well strained as if something isn't quiet right or that you're working through something. I wouldn't put it past the little guy to attempt to ruin Sable's plans, she took his kingdom after all though I suppose he'd just get himself killed if he tried. I hear that this tower is subjected to her magicks and she can scry on it whenever she pleases. She probably knows about sleeping beauty and was probably trying to draw out Oberoon."

He shrugged, walked to the window and peered out before glancing back at her. He seemed to consider her for awhile as he analyzed all manner of thoughts. "You did it, didn't you? The whole broom thing? How often has he used that lie to bag one such as yourself in their last nights on this earth? I bet he says that he loves you and that he's got things in the works but can't tell you least he ruin those details later? He is Puck's father after all, a trickster at that.

"If Sable didn't kill so many of the women he had dalliances with then he'd have half this castle full of babies, every chamber maid, servant and prisoner would be with child."

Alynia was stunned. "I-i have no clue what you're talking about." she stuttered, it was a rather unconvincing lie. Everything the guard had told her was all too familiar. She looked at the guard trying to find a reason for him to lie about Oberron... She could think of none. Had she really been tricked and fooled into giving up her virginity to someone like that? Alynia could scarcely believe it, but she did recall that the most common power the fey had was trickery and deception. She sat down, leaning against a wall wanting to not accept such thoughts... But she couldn't argue how much sense it all made.

"He did so much to help me though." she muttered outloud, really in a state of shock. She wasn't even attempting to lie as she collected her thoughts.

The fey king had killed for her, but was that only because he wanted her virginity to himself? Goodness what was she thinking? He had saved her huntsman friend as well as his sister, he had fed her, and entertained her with illusions and songs. Was that really all for selfish gain? She was not mad at Oberron for wanting her virginity, he had done so many kind deeds he practically deserved it.. But she wouldn't be able to take it if all this time he had been feeding her false hope and lies.

She held her spinning head in her hands defeated by how much the guard knew. "It can't be true.. You must be lying." she declared softly the confidence draining out of her. She wondered if the fey king was laughing at her as they spoke. She shook her head once more, how she wanted to here Oberron's comfort even if it was all a lie.

"Perhaps I am lying, if it makes you sleep better at night you're free to believe what you will. But ask yourself this why would I lie? Perhaps I don't like Oberron for some slight or another, but isn't it more likely this is true?

"What does he want? Consider what is more important to him, a girl he has just met or perhaps ruining Sable's plans? But I'll allow you to consider the situation for yourself. After all you would know how you feel or felt towards him. Whether you buy his lies or see some truth to what I say is of course up to you. What we ultimately believe of course can only be effected by our selves, not what others say or think.

"So tell me, what do you think? Have you found his appearance a bit of a coincidence or do you truly think something as long lived as he would become smitten, and with a human at that. No, it seems likely that he is just giving you a glimmer of hope in your final hours without really doing anything."

Alynia paused, her eyes fell down cast. After all the years Oberron had been alive she admitted it was rather stupid of her to think she would be so special to win over the king's heart. The way she looked told the guard he made sense, what hurt even more is that truthfully underneath it all she knew it all along. Alynia had known that Oberron was to use her as a way to get back at Sable, and she had already agreed to it.

"I-i can't believe it..." she said quietly. In her heart she believed almost everything the guard had said, but saying it aloud herself would've pained her much more deeply. "He was so kind to me." she breathed out refusing to look at the red haired guard.

Alynia took a moment to think about her own feelings. Had she really fallen head first for Oberron? She shook her head, that couldn't be. She strictly had told herself she couldn't love in such a short time. It was because he treated her so well, was she a horrible person for second guessing someone who had done nothing but treat her well.

"It all makes sense." she said softly feeling defeated. "Everything you said. Why does it make perfect sense?" she hugged her knees to her chest. Alynia had never felt so crushed forcing herself to accept she was going to die... tonight.

The guard moved closer to her as she went through her thought process, first denying matters then accepting them in the end. "I don't know why he does it but it's all a game to him, he's been stuck in this castle now for centuries I am told. But if you've already lain with him then it is too late, if not well then it's an easy matter to deny him.

"Can I trust you? I've got to whiz like you wouldn't believe. I'd use your rest room but it's against Sable's rules." He pretty much said that he did not possess a key to this chamber but seemed more interested in taking off and relieving himself then worrying about her answer.

He took off and she was left alone for about ten minutes before there was a quick knock at the door and it was opened. Oberron stepped into the chamber casting a glance at her as she sat there on the floor. He canted his head to the side, frowned and approached her.

"You look troubled. What is on your mind?"

She watched guard leave and then she clutched her head in her arms thinking over what she just heard. She wasn't aware of how much time had passed but before she was ready for it, the door clicked open once again. She looked up at Oberron with a hurt expression, her heart was thumping with confusion and her mind was swimming with conflicted thoughts. There was a silence as she regarded him.

"I need to know the truth." she told him. "I understand if you only wished to lay wih me to ruin Sable's plans. I understood that from the beginning." Alynia explained. Actually admitting such a thing, her heart felt heavy.

"But everything you told me about something you were doing to help me... About spending centuries together and how I reminded you of Titania. How you had a plan but weren't allowed to tell me, was that all a lie?"

Alynia was afraid of the answer, truthfully Alynia felt like she would be more distraught if Oberron told her that he wasn't lying. If he told her that he loved her she wouldn't know what to do. She looked at Oberron tears brimming her eyes, Alynia felt horrible. She didn't know who to believe and as much as she wanted to hurt Sable, she also didn't want to become another piece in the fey king's game. Alynia's heart throbbed painfully as tore her glance away from Oberron. Alynia knew if he said what she wanted him to say it would only cause her to think he had been playing with her sensitive feelings all along.

As much as Alynia wanted everything the guard said to be false, he alrwady planted the seeds of doubt within her. No matter what Oberron did she would be hurt. "How many other prisoners have you had your way with Oberron?" she closed her eyes painfully. "Did they not satisfy you enough?"

"Oh, oh," there was something in her look that alarmed him as he sat down next to her. He listened though without interuption. He said nothing at first though he looked up at the ceiling and sigh softly. He took her hand laying his atop her own.

"You know I can't answer that as much as I want to, not yet anyway but you will have to trust me on the matter. Do not think me as cruel as Sable though. I would not string you along with false hope only to dash it last minute.

"If I say this as some sort of game I could have told you anything, anything for you to believe but I shall tell you what I can of the situation and the answer to some of those questions. It is up to you to believe what you will of course, I cannot change that."

He paused, thinking of what to say or how to begin. "Now if I only wished to ruin Sable's plans I wouldn't have been so elaborate. I could have gone the way of a satyr and just taken you against your will but neither of us would have enjoyed the experience much. Sable's plans would have been ruined, albeit she would have likely killed me once she found out unless I could have blamed it on a guard but it would be easy enough to have masked myself in an illusion that I was a guard and shift the blame.

"I will not lie, to you, I do look forward to that ... but for other reasons entirely which I cannot get into just yet. But this, all this is rather elaborate just to grant you some false hope. There have been some others, prisoners that I have had dalliances with but I never told them I could help them at all. They knew of their fate and let's just say that I was still in the dungeon's the last time Sable had guests in the tower ... see those near her have realized long ago that staying pure draws Sable's attention so at an early age they seek to do away with that so the only ones have been prisoners in the dungeon, prisoner's I could not help save for make their last few hours more rememberable for what little constallation that was worth.

"I have been married but twice, not that it would make a difference, though keep in mind I live an awfully long time compared to humans. I am not forcing you to make any decisions against your will but now I am in a position to help you, I cannot say how just yet but if I did I know we would anguish because those options would forever be lost to us."

He rubbed the back of her hand, stood, then glanced down at her. "I should go, obviously you need time to think."

Alynia looked back up at him with watery eyes, and as much as she wanted to throw herself at him and beg for his forgivness for ever suspecting him of treachery she didn't. Instead she remained where she was and took in a shaky breath. "Yes, I believe that would be best for now." She responded there was a pause as it appeared she was considering something. "but I have already agreed to give my virginity to you, whether you were lying to me or not." she said quietly turning her head away from Oberron's stare. "I am not one to leave my debts unpaid."

There was another pause as Alynia watched him gently stroke her hand. She made no motion to stop him. "I want to believe you. I sincerely do. I'm terribly afraid to admit I've felt for you a way I have never felt for another man, and I will be selfish enough to say I want to mean as much to you."

"If all of this was a game, you have won. I can no longer think of you without my heart beating faster." Alynia finished standing up shakily. She peered at Oberron with an expression that was difficult to read. She wanted to hit him but at the same time she wanted him to embrace her, her inner mind was a complete turmoil having no idea what to believe.

"Right now, I would rather be left alone with my thoughts... But please don't leave me for too long." Alynia was silent for a moment. "I can't help but to still think of you in the same way as I did." she added quietly. It was the truth. "Thank you for rescuing the hunter." and with that she turned to retreat into the other room of her tower. Alynia wanted nothing more than to soak in the bath to regain her senses.

"This is no game, I profess that you do look a lot like Titiana but that served little more than to perk my interest and draw me close. I realize that you are not she but I do care for you a lot. If not I wouldn't have taken half as many risks as I have, however minor.

"I do not want you to feel indebted either. Your virginity is your choice of who, if anyone you give it to. I will be back in an hour or so. Alyina ..." he paused for a moment, looked up into her eyes then smiled briefly trying to coax a smile on her lips. He hated seeing her like this.

"I love you." His hands left her own and he departed leaving her to think.

It was after her bath that she found the red headed warrior in the main room of the tower. "I see you found the bath, not many people do."

He was there maybe five minutes before another guard came bringing Alyina a little something to eat. Tonight was the big night. He relieved the red head already, it seemed that Sable wanted her best in the dungeons so he left for there leaving a younger guard here. He was mostly silent after commenting on her beauty once, looked her over and said something to the effect of damning Sable's rules but he did not disobey them just stood guard until 2 hours or so later another guard came relieving him so that he too would go to the dungeons.

It seemed that with the recent escape Sable was a bit precautious. He left the tower, the guard waited. Smiled at her and looked her over. "To bad about Sable wanting to kill you tonight I'm sure you'd make someone a happy man like the way you've befuddled that Oberron fellow."

"I would hardly say I was the one who befuddled him when I am the one who sits here so confused." she muttered though she wasn't sure if she spoke loud enough for the guard to hear. "But thank you." she stated with little emotion. Alynia really didn't care about anymore of these lewd comments the guards gave her so often. She stood up excusing herself for a nap walking over to push in the stone that opened to the bedroom. Alynia thought it would be best to have as much energy as she could for tonight. She was also amused to see that the new guard looked mildly surprised that such a room existed.

When the door closed behind her a few of the wall torches lit up casting enough light for her to see. Alynia stripped off her dress, folding it neatly into a pile and setting it down before climbing under the covers. Alynia was waiting for the fey kig to return to wake her so they could talk. Alynia wanted to know everything he had said hed tell her. But for now, She enjoyed the feeling of the sheets rubbing against her soft bare skin. She wasnt aware of how vulnerable she was if a disobedient guard decided to have a bit of fun, she barely noticed anything else besides then gears churning in her mind. Alynia did not fall asleep for quite some time, she lay there with her back facing the closed stone door, continuing to collect her slowly forming thoughts. Her breathing slowed as she relaxed into her covers.

Alynia had already decided to prepare herself for the worst, if Oberron's plan doesnt succeed or exist she would be ready to face her fate. Other than that, there was really nothing more to do. If she died there would be nothing more to care about, but if she lived she would certainly ask for Oberron's forgivness. Alynia decided it would be best for her to not dwell on the idea of living. It would crush her hopes so much easier if she thought like that.

Alynia didn't move for quite some time, at one point she thought she heard the voices of a new guard coming to replace the other one. She couldnt be sure, for all she knew she couldve imagined sucha coice in her sleep. Nevertheless sooner or later she drifted off into a still and dreamless sleep. She had given up on trying to keep track of the time of the day.

The guard simply nodded at that as she got to her feet. He watched, seemingly surprised about the secret room, a tid bit she would not consider until after the fact when something else clicked though the hours slipped past and she rested.

It was a long while before she drifted off but when she woke she thought she heard voices in that half sleep state. Then nothing. Debating the fact of getting up or getting back to sleep she wound up settling on the later.

With the guards present there were no illusions and even if she were awake there was nothing to do. At least in her sleep she could let her mind imagine that she was freed from this place, rescued ... in some dreams in was the returning hunter but in most Oberron played a variant.

In her dream induced state she heard the scrapping of stone as Oberron extended a hand to her shuffling her out of this room and tower itself urgently though in truth it was the secret door that opened.

She woke soon later as the guards lips were affixed to her cheek. He broke that kiss, smiled at her. "Gorgeous. Forgive me." He smiled at her again, though it wasn't in the usual lewd ways of the guards, or perhaps it was she was still just waking up and the litting was dim after all. The guard descended towards her again, his intentions of pressing his lips to her own was rather clear.

'Hmm, what nice dreams.' she had been thinking to herself as Oberron kissed her cheek. She suddenly realized the kiss in her dream had an odd realistic feel to it. She squinted open one eye noticing someone's lips were indeed pressed against her. "Oberron?" she murmured quietly. She turned her head slightly to find that she did not recognizing the sillouette her admirer.

"Wait stop." she muttered weakly still lost in the fog of sleep. Alynia pushed away the guard's face gently, she pulled the sheets closer to her body trying to blink her eyes awake. She was still sleepy, but she pushed herself to a sitting position looking at the guard as if trying to recognize who he was. Making sure her blanket was held securely against her not wanting to let it slip she was rather flustered. Her eyes flicked to the dress that was lying on the floor a few feet away from her. She looked back at the guard "I'm flattered.. But please leave." she requested quietly. "So I may dress myself."

Alynia realized she was pushing her luck, but this guard didn't exactly seem like he was out to take advantage of her also Sable's strict orders were still at large. Infact the way this guard was treating her was rather gentle, such actions it confused her.

The guard glanced towards the dress realizing that she was nake beneath those sheets. He gazed back at her grinning slightly though that grin faded after a second. "Yes," he spoke though his eyes drifted to the dress on the floor. He however, had not moved any though his gaze drifted back to her.

He studied her in that moment then seemed to realize something and smiled again. His form shimmered until the form of the guard faded and Oberron was standing in his place. Had he been the guard here all along these past few hours? Did he redirect the existing guard to watch the dungeons?

If so then the rouse was yet to be detected meaning it wasn't likely to be gathered at all or after the fact. She then realized that the guard's reaction to the secret chamber had to be a rouse, the other guard new about it even though he was young, though new enough to know of it but not know precisely where it had been. Only now did it done on her that he was actually answering her iniatial response to her comment.

He nodded then. "As you wish," as he headed towards the door.

Alynia lips lifted upward in a tired smile which lasted briefly as the Oberron shedded his disguise. She fidgeted slightly a bit abashes by what she had told him before he left. She let out a nervous breath.

"Wait.." she called out softly. "If it's you, I'm alright if you stay." Alynia could feel her cheeks redden, but it was difficult to tell if it was noticeable underneath the torch light. Still she rather disliked how easy it was to make her blush. "... and if you like, I do not have to dress right this moment." For once she was completely aware of the connotation of her suggestive words.

This was so embarrassing, all this time she had assumed that he would be doing the initiating and here she was sitting in bed half nude inviting a man to stay. Alynia had nervous butterflies in her stomach as she brought her eyes to glance at Oberron wondering how he would react and what he would do. She wondered if he was going to decline her offer. Alynia decided that she wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. For all she knew they could have no time left before the next guard came.

But still her heart thumped loudly in her chest. There were no words to describe her inner thoughts. As much as she tried to convince herself that she was simply paying him back, Alynia knew she felt doing this was more than just compensation. Alynia watched Oberron carefully, waiting for his response.
