The goblin was splattered with the blood of the worg, turned to look over his shoulder and was knocked from her as an arrow imbedded itself into his chest killing him. The hunter rushed over, bow in hand. His quiver was nearly empty by now and his blade must have collected the gore of the others.

He dropped to a knee by her side, looked away then unfastened the brooch of his cloak while folding it over her, his eyes closed while he did so.

"Are you alight?"

'' I...I'm fine..*sniff**sob* Unable to supress her desperation she tugged harder on the hunter's cloak folding her, tears started flowing down. ''Th..thank you..for saving me again..*sob*''

"Don't mention it, but we can't stay here and have to go. That was an advanced scouting party for the goblins, the main forces not to far behind. There is a cave near here where we can wait until morning when they have passed."

He led her through the forest for about 5 minutes before coming to the cave that he mentioned. He had taken a .look around first to make sure it was safe before leading her inside.

She followed the hunter into the cave,carefully observing around her to make sure she is safe from danger. ''Um, th..thank you for saving me back then..I..I appreciate it.'' Shyness filled her emotion while she kept on express her thanks towards the hunter.

They would stay in that cave for the night, long enough for the goblins to pass. Of course, discovering the bodies of their allies they searched for them though mistakenly believed that centaurs had killed them despite not uncovering any tracks of the horse-men.

It was assumed that one of them attempted to hide the passage that they made. Come morning the hunter had her stay in the cave while he hunted, he retuning with a pair of rabbits that they devoured. They were unable to eat anything the night before save for some jerky he had on account of the plethora of goblins out there.

Some time later they found themselves in a throne room with a slender, dwarf sized being with pointed ears, gossamer wings and dressed in green. A short lade rested at his hip and he was standing near the throne, back to them as he gazed out a window at the partially dead forest before turning towards them.
